Officer was advised by manager at Mike's Pit Stop that a patron had pumped gasoline and kerosene and left without paying. Manager requested that Officer attempt to locate the man and contact him so that he could return to the station and pay the bill.

Officer was on patrol on Plain City Georgesville Road when Officer observed a vehicle drive to the end of Nighthawk Drive and black out. Upon determining everything to be okay, Officer returned to patrol.

Traffic Stop

South Chillicothe St.

Officer conducted a routine registration check on a maroon Oldsmobile Sedan. The registration returned to, Damion Burke, a suspended driver. Damion was subsequently issued a citation for Non Payment of Judgment Suspension, No Valid OL and FRA Suspension. Damion was issued his citation and walked to a friend's house. The vehicle was towed to the Plain City Police Department Impound Lot. See media for further.

Officer was dispatched to the listed location in reference to a suspicious circumstance. Officer walked the area surrounding complainant's residence, but did not locate anyone outside. Complainant was advised to contact the police department if it continues. Officer then returned to patrol.

Animal Complaint - Other

West Main St.

Officer was dispatched to the listed location in reference to a loose dog. Officer transported the dog to owner's residence and he was warned for Animals Running at Large. Officer also advised him that he needed to get the dog licensed in his name. After determining everything to be fine, Officer returned to patrol.  Due to the dog not properly being licensed, this report will be forwarded to the Madison County Dog Warden for follow-up.

Officer was dispatched to the listed location in reference to a domestic dispute. Upon arrival, Officer met with the caller and two subjects. Both subjects confirmed the argument was only verbal and agreed to stay away from each other and to speak later when they had calmed down. Upon determining everything to be okay, Officer returned to patrol.

Officer was met at the Police Department by complainant.  Officer advised both subjects to get along and not bother each other. Both parties agreed they would not be a problem to each other. Officer then returned to patrol.

Central Ave.

Officer met with complainant at the police department.  Complainant advised Officer that subject was driving his blue Ford Pickup.  Complainant is in the process of selling it to subject, but didn't give permission to subject to drive it.  Officer located subject at Dominos and requested the key to the truck. Subject gave Officer the key without incident.  Complainant arrived at the police department and retrieve his key. Complaint is the rightful owner at this time.

Officer was requested by UCSO to respond to US 42 near North Chillicothe St to standby with his vehicle occupant while he performed a consent search..  After my assistance was no longer needed, Officer returned to patrol.

Driving Complaint

South Chillicothe St.

Officer responded to the area of South Chillicothe Street in reference to a driving complaint. Complainant stated that a blue truck was in front of his vehicle driving at an extremely low rate of speed. The driver of the vehicle began flipping him off and threw a banana peel out of his window in an attempt to hit complainant's vehicle. Officer made contact with subject and advised him of the possible consequences if his actions continued. Officer hen made contact with complainant who admitted to "flipping off" the other vehicle but denied throwing anything out of his windows. Officer advised complainant of the consequences if his actions were to continue. Officer than returned to patrol.

Parking Complaint

Murlay Dr.

Officer observed a silver Chevrolet Aveo parked on the street in front of the listed location with no registration for several days.  Officer made contact with vehicle owner and advised him that the vehicle needed to be properly registered if it was parked on the street. Officer then returned to patrol.  On 1/10/2019 Officer observed the vehicle was still parked in the same place. Officer made contact with subject's wife and advised her that the vehicle needed to be moved within 24 hours or it would be impounded. Officer also advised her that it needed to have registration on it if parked in the driveway due to zoning laws. She advised me that she would speak with her husband about the vehicle.

Officer was dispatched to the listed location in reference to an unruly juvenile complaint. Upon arrival, Officer made contact with all parties. Officer learned that the juvenile was just in a bad mood and didn't want to listen to any grownups. After determining everything to be fine, Officer returned to patrol.

Traffic Stop

West Main St.

Officer observed a subject riding a camouflage mini bike westbound on West Main Street at South Jefferson Avenue. Officer made contact with the operator, Luis Perez, and advised him that he was not permitted to be driving the mini bike on the roadway. Luis was subsequently issued a citation for No OL (ORC 4510.12A1) and Prohibited Operation (PC ORD 375.03A1) and released.  The mini bike was towed to the Plain City Municipal Garage.

Officer was flagged down by complainant who advised Officer that she was driving on North Chillicothe Street and observed a possible theft take place. Officer later confirmed that the owner of the bike was the one who drove it away from the residence and no crime had been committed.
