Driving Complaint
US Rt. 42 S
Officer stopped a maroon Kia minivan on US Route 42N near SR 736. OSP Post 49 reported that this vehicle had been driving aggressively and had "brake-checked" a vehicle at US 42 and I-70. The registration on the vehicle also returned to a silver Ford. Upon making contact with the driver, officer informed him of the issue with the registration and also of the driving complaint. Driver was given a warning for the registration violation and driving complaint per Post 49.

Officer responded to location in reference to a verbal argument taking place. Upon officer's arrival, it was learned that a juvenile felt threatened by an adult when the adult approached the juvenile due to the juvenile riding a bicycle erratically. Adult was advised not to have contact with the juvenile in the future and to contact the police.

Officers responded to location in reference to a suspicious person. Caller stated that male subject had been walking around the complex making others feel uneasy. He said the subject had asked to pay people to use their electric for his phone and also has been going thru the dumpster. Officers located subject, whom they were familiar with on the back porch of a vacant apartment with several bags and clothes. Subject advised that he has been homeless and has been sleeping by the creek. Subject contacted someone to pick him up and was warned for trespassing on private property.

Officers responded to location in reference to a male subject lifting up his shirt and possibly threatening to take off his pants. Caller stated that a male subject was lifting his shirt up and pointing to his pants as if he was going to take them off. Upon officers arrival, they checked the area, but were unable to locate the suspect. Upon speaking with an employee at one of the liquor establishments, they stated the male had been drinking in the bar. The male said he was from Hilliard and could not advise on any additional information on the suspect.

Officers responded to the location in reference to a 911 call that turned out to be a domestic violence incident. After further investigation, Kenneth Robinson was arrested and charged with Domestic Violence. He was later transported to the Tri-County Jail.

Officer responded to location in reference to a suspicious person. The caller stated that he had driven a subject to the listed location. He stated that while driving, the subject had stated multiple times that someone was trying to “jump" him. Upon officers arrival, he made contact with the subject whom he was familiar with. The subject would not tell the officer who was going to attack him. He just stated that people were out to get him. The officer determined that the subject was fine and needed no assistance.

Officer dispatched to location in reference to the caller stated they could smell marijuana coming from the location. Upon officer's arrival, the front door to the residence was standing open. He could not smell any marijuana and did not observe any smoke. Officer spoke with resident and learned that they were rolling cigarettes on the kitchen table, which officer confirmed.

Officer received a complaint that a vehicle had been speeding through the neighbor hood and driving recklessly. Officer located the vehicle in question and determined and spoke with the juvenile driver. Juvenile's parents were contacted and juvenile was advised of the consequences if his driving habits continued.

Officer responded to the area in reference to three suspicious persons. Caller stated they saw one male wearing a white shirt, one male wearing a black shirt, and possibly a third person walking around the apartment complex with flashlights. Caller stated that they believed they might live in the apartment complex, but thought it was suspicious that they were walking around behind the apartments with flashlights. Upon arrival, officers thoroughly searched the area and did not locate anyone or anything out of the ordinary.

Officer received a report that Chad Tussing had been camping in the trees next to the callers property. Officer located Chad walking and he was told that he could not camp on private property without written permission from the property owner. Officer then checked the area where Chad had been camping and observed trash and some other personal property that Chad left behind. Officer again made contact with Chad and told him that if the area wasn't completely cleaned up that he would be charged with littering. He advised that he would clean it up, but did not. Therefore, Chad Tussing was charged with littering.

An anonymous caller stated two males were in an argument at the gas pump of Marathon and then left in a gold Buick with the trunk left open. Upon officers arrival, they thoroughly searched the area but could not locate the vehicle.

Officers responded to location in reference to domestic dispute. The caller advised he had heard yelling coming from the residence and wanted to ensure everything was okay. Upon officers arrival, residents advised that they had argued for a few minutes, but both advised things were calm and they were just going to bed for the night. There were no signs of physical threats or violence.

Officer responded to location in reference to a possible dispute. Upon arrival, officer met with the complainants who reported me that they are having an ongoing issue with their neighbors. Caller advised that their neighbors are constantly arguing, using profanity and also yelling. They advised that nothing was happing at the moment but were just tired of it. They requested that the officer speak with the neighbor's about the issue. Officer then met with the neighbor explained the complaint. The neighbor explained that he and his live in girlfriend constantly argue and he didn’t know what to do about it. Officer warned the neighbors about the constant arguing and profanity and that they could be charged with Disorderly Conduct if it continued.

Upon arrival, officer learned that a female subject placed two patio chairs in front of another female's apartment door due to rude comments that had been made earlier. Leona said when she came home from work Barb was saying rude comments to her. Officer informed both parties of the consequences they faced if their actions continued.

Officer responded to the location in reference to a possible assault. Upon further investigation, Jacob Morrow was arrested and charged with Assault, Possessing Drug Abuse Instruments, Aggravated Trespass and Disorderly Conduct. He was transported to the Tri-County Jail.

Note: Possible charges are pending for Leslie. Possible illegal dumping and trespassing charges are pending for Jacob.
