Officer initiated a traffic stop and made contact with the vehicle driver/owner, Kendrick Hodge and his passenger.  Kendrick was issued a traffic citation for speed. Kendrick voluntary followed Officer back to the Police Department where he was issued a criminal summons for possession of marijuana and marijuana paraphernalia. See case for further.

Officer initiated a traffic stop with the vehicle at Der Dutchman. Officer made contact with the owner/operator, Timothy Childers.   He was subsequently issued a citation for OVI Suspension and No Valid OL. His vehicle was towed on scene to the PCPD impound lot.

Officer was dispatched to the listed location in reference to a harassment complaint. Complainant advised she did not want Officer to make contact with subject, but she wanted the incident documented. Complainant also requested extra patrol of her residence.

Officer initiated a traffic stop with the vehicle and made contact with the vehicle driver, Anthony Hawkins and his passenger.  Anthony was issued a citation for operating with number of former owner. Officer advised Anthony to get the trailer properly registered and dispose of the old registration.

Officer was on patrol on Grant Avenue, when Officer observed the driver's door open on a maroon Chevrolet S-10.  The neighbor came out and advised subject was at his girlfriend's.  The neighbor advised he would advise the subject.  Officer then returned to patrol.

Officers were dispatched to the listed location in reference to a missing juvenile. Upon arrival to the residence, Officers met with the caller who advised that he located his son. Caller thanked us for responding so quickly. Officers then returned to patrol.

Officer observed eight parking spaces (five on the south side of the road and three on the north) that were blocked off by cones. Officer made contact with Tavern 161 General Manager and advised him that they were not permitted to block public parking spaces without first obtaining approval from the Village. The manager than removed the cones and Officer returned to patrol.

Drug Paraphernalia

Officer conducted a routine registration check on a Grey Jeep Cherokee.  The registration returned to Sarah Fuson who had a confirmed warrant out of the Union County Sheriff’s Office for failure to appear on a tax evasion charge.  Sarah was subsequently charged for Possession of Drug Paraphernalia and Possession of Drug Abuse Instruments. Officer then transported Sarah to the Tri-County Regional Jail to book her in on her warrant and the above charges. See case/media for further.

Officer was dispatched to the listed location in reference to a parking complaint. Officer drove around for several minutes and located the registered owner.  Vehicle owner was warned for the parking violation and moved the vehicle without any issues. Officer then returned to patrol.

Officer responded to the listed location in reference to a driving complaint. The complainant advised a large white truck with red LED lights was mudding in the park. Upon arrival, the vehicle had already left the scene. Officer observed damage to the southeast corner of the park. See media for further.

Officer was flagged down by complainant in reference to a subject walking near the roadway and almost got struck by a semi. Officer made contact with subject.  Officer transported subject to the GetGo station in Dublin.  DPD was also made aware of the incident. Officer then returned to patrol.

Officer was requested by the Union County Sheriff’s Office to assist with a narcotics sniff on US 33 eastbound near the Franklin County line. Officer stood by until assistance was no longer needed. Officer then returned to patrol.

Officer observed extremely high water in front of the listed location. Due to the depth of the water, Officers closed the roadway until the water was a safe level for vehicles to drive thru it. Officers also notified the Street Department and requested High Water signs be placed up. A short time later, Officer took the High Water signs down and transported them to the Street Department's garage.

Upon arrival, subject had already left.  Officer made contact with subject and advised subject that he could be charged if found there. Subject advised that he understood. Officers were dispatched to the listed location in reference to a suicide threat.  Subject refused to go to the hospital to talk to someone and was encouraged to contact the police department if she felt like harming herself.

Officer was on patrol when he observed a black Chevy Cavalier parked on the south side of the Plain City Library with what appeared to be four juveniles loitering outside.  All parties were issued verbal warnings.   Officer made contact with each parent who gave permission for juveniles to go home with the approved adults. Officer then returned to patrol.

Officer was dispatched to Pastime Park in reference to a male that threw his bike to the ground and was yelling. Officer observed subject exiting the park wearing clothes matching the description provided.  Officer advised subject that he needs to keep his volume down to avoid yelling as he rode around. Subject advised he understood and would keep it down. Officer then returned to patrol.
