Upon arrival and further investigation it was determined that the juveniles were all playing basketball and an argument ensued where another juvenile had a ball thrown at their face. All parties were warned fort their actions and contact was made with their parents to further resolve the conflict.

Officers searched the interior of the residence, but didn't locate anything out of the usual. It was later determined that the door was not fully secured and was possibly blown open by the wind. The residence was secured before leaving.

On the above date and time, while on routine patrol,  an officer observed a male subject at the listed location and had prior knowledge of an existing warrant out of the Madison County Municipal Court for Failure to Appear. Ruben H. Stutzman, age 47yoa of Plain City was placed into custody without incident. He was subsequently transported to the Tri-County Regional Jail.

On the listed date and time, an officer responded to the listed location on the report of a raccoon near the building close to the art room of the school. The principle was concerned due to kids walking from the cafeteria to the playground for recess. Upon arrival, the officer located the raccoon, which did not appear to be sick. The officer captured the raccoon using a pole-noose and took to the east side of the school near the creek where it was released.

On the stated date and time, an officer was dispatched to the intersection of US RT 42 and Alcott Road in reference to a semi tire in the roadway. Upon arrival, the officer located several pieces of a semi tire in the roadway and removed it from the roadway.

On the listed date and time, an officer met with a school representative at the Plain City Elementary School. She advised there were four older youth boys on the playground with the latch-key kids. The principle did not want the older kids on the playground while the latch-key kids were at school until 6PM. The officer met with the boys (14-15 years of age), and they were advised not to be on the playground when there were latch-key kids present and/or until the latch-key was done at 6PM. They advised they understood and would comply with the schools request.

On the stated date and time, an officer initiated a traffic stop with a vehicle for an equipment violation at the listed location.  Upon further investigation through LEADS it was discovered that the driver, Scott B. Zyvonoski, 31yoa of Plain City, was currently under suspension and had an active warrant for failure to appear out of the Columbus Police Department.  Scott was placed into custody without incident. While searching him, it was discovered he was in possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia. He was issued a citation for Child Support Suspension, No Operators License,  One Headlight, and Drug Possession and Drug Paraphernalia. He was transported and released to a CPD officer for his active warrant.

On the above date and time, an officer responded to the listed location in reference to a vehicle that had crashed into the building. Upon arrival and after further investigation, the officer learned that the driver had struck the south side of the building while parking her vehicle. The driver advised that after she came to a stop her car lunged forward and struck the building. This caused minor damage to her vehicle and possibly cracked the brick mortar on the building. There was also damage to the interior wall of the building. A report was taken for insurance purposes.

The caller advised that another person had called and threatened to harm themselves.  Upon arrival it was discovered the caller making threats was at another residence in Madison County.  The Madison County S.O. was advised of the situation and they had deputies respond to the residence in the county.

On the stated date and time, an officer responded to the listed location in reference to a 911 Hang-up. Upon arrival, a mother advised her adult son was upset and broke a window inside the residence. The son agreed to calm down for the evening and was upset over a family issue. He did not threaten the mother, she was concerned due to his behavior. A mental health referral was made.

On the listed date and time, an officer was requested to assist the Union County Sheriff's Office with locating a male in the roadway.  Dispatch had received several 911 calls in reference to a male standing  close to the side of the roadway on US 42. Upon arrival the officer located the man near the roadway and then stood by with him until the arrival of the deputies to take over the scene.

On the listed date and time an officer was advised of a driving complaint that occurred on US 33 and continued south bound on US 42 involving a silver Ford Truck. The UCSO asked that the officer attempt to locate the vehicle. The officer was able to locate the vehicle at the listed location and initiated a traffic stop. The officer held the scene until the arrival of UCSO deputies.

The dog had got loose from the caller and the unknown person picked up the dog. The owner was advised to contact local vet's and humane society to see if the person turned the dog in.

On the stated date and time, an officer was flagged down by a male at the listed location. He advised he stopped in the business with another female juvenile and was eventually asked to leave after an argument had ensued about his previous termination from the store. While the officer was speaking with the male, a customer from the Dollar General pulled up to the officer and advised that the male he was speaking with was out of line and causing a disturbance inside the store. The customer stated that that the male was using foul language and the manager didn’t do anything wrong.

The officer then responded to the Dollar General and spoke with the manager. The manager advised that the former employee and another female came into the store and started causing a scene because he was terminated. The manager further stated that the male called her several vulgar names and was yelling while there were other customers in the store.  The manager did not want to pursue with criminal charges at this time, but requested that the officer advise the former employee and the juvenile female that they were no longer permitted on the Dollar General property or they would be criminally charged.

The officer made contact with the former employee and explained the situation to him and he was given a warning for Disorderly Conduct. He was advised to stay away from the business or he could be criminally charged. The officer also made contact with juveniles father, and advised him of the same.

On the stated date and time, an officer initiated a traffic stop for a registration violation. Candie N. Bragg, 27yoa of Columbus was subsequently issued a citation for Failure to Transfer Registration and FRA Suspension. The vehicle was also impounded.  The driver  had an entered warrant for her arrest out of the Hilliard Police Department for failure to appear and was turned over to their custody.

The caller then stated that she believed it was her refrigerator making the noise. Upon arrival the officer checked the area but was unable to locate anything out of the ordinary.

On the stated date and time, an officer responded to the listed location in regards to a driving complaint. The vehicle was located and a traffic stop was made. The driver, Sonya L. Daum was issued a citation for OVI Suspension and  Marked Lanes and released. The vehicle was impounded.
