2/1/2015	8:15 PM	Unruly juvenile	Central Ave.	On the stated date and time an officer responded to the listed location in reference to an unruly juvenile. Contact was made with the juvenile and the parents. A referral to Department of Jobs and Family Services was made.
2/2/2015	6:23 AM	Alarm Drop	West Main St.	On the above date and time, officers responded to the listed location in reference to an alarm drop. Upon arrival, it was discovered that the alarm had accidentally been activated by a delivery driver.
2/3/2015	4:27 PM	Suspicious Person/Vehicle	North Ave.	On the above date and time while on routine patrol, an officer observed a vehicle parked partially in the roadway facing the wrong direction in the area of 201 North Avenue. The officer also learned that the driver had an entered warrant out of Franklin County for not paying a traffic ticket. The officer made contact with the owner and learned that she was attempting to locate someone with a tire pump so she could pump the tire up on her car. Franklin County did not want to pick her up on the warrant, therefore the owner was advised of the warrant and not to drive due to her license being suspended. She had her neighbor drive the car home.

The caller advised a dark grey Nissan Altima was tailgating them heading westbound from US 33. The officer was unable to locate the vehicle and returned back to patrol.

2/4/2015	8:10 PM	Drug Paraphernalia/Drug Abuse Instruments	North Chillicothe St.	On the above date and time, officers responded to the listed location in reference to an intoxicated person. The residents called because guest showed up intoxicated and they did not want him there. Upon further investigation two syringes, and a spoon with residue were located.  Jason T. Trosper, 36yoa of Plain City was arrested for Possession of Drug Abuse Instruments and transported to the Tri-County Jail.
2/5/2015	1:44 AM	Miscellaneous - Unclassified	West Main St.	On the listed date and time, officers responded to the listed location in reference to a drug abuse complaint. Dispatch advised that the caller who wished to remain anonymous advised  that they could smell the odor of burning marijuana. Upon arrival the officers checked the area and did not detect an odors of marijuana and made contact with the resident and advised them of the complaint. They advised they were only smoking cigarettes and believed a neighbor was trying to get them in trouble with the landlord. The officers then returned to patrol.

Upon arrival and further investigation it was discovered that an unknown vehicle struck the callers parked vehicle while unoccupied. A crash report was completed.
2/5/2015	4:51 PM	Miscellaneous - Unclassified	Friend St.	On the stated date and time, an officer met with a subject on station who requested to be transported to the hospital for alcohol abuse and other medical issues.  Medic 261 arrived a short time later and transported the subject to the hospital.
2/5/2015	7:06 PM	Suspicious Circumstances	North Ave.	On the listed date and time an officer responded to the listed location in reference to suspicious circumstances. The caller, advised that an unknown man had just showed up at his residence to tell him that he had bounced a check. The caller advised that he was not familiar with the person, nor had he been contacted by the company regarding the check. Upon further investigation it was discovered that a boyfriend of the employee took it upon themselves to represent the company in regards to the bad check. The suspect was given a warning for their actions and advised that the company had a procedure in place to handle these issues.
2/5/2015	7:22 PM	911 Follow-up	East Main St.	On the stated date and time, an officer responded to the listed location in reference to a 911 hang-up. Dispatch advised that they believe it was a juvenile playing on the phone. Upon arrival, and further investigation it was discovered to a be a juvenile who was playing on the phone. The juvenile was given a warning for their actions.  The matter was left with the parents to resolve.
2/6/2015	11:20 AM	Harassment/Menacing	South Chillicothe St.	On the above date and time, an officer responded to the listed location in reference to a harassment complaint. The caller advised that her soon to be ex-husband was sending her harassing text messages and was parking near her residence. The caller did not want to pursue, but wanted the suspect contacted. The suspect was contacted and advised to refrain from the alleged actions.
2/6/2015	12:16 PM	Alarm Drop	Gay St.	On the above date and time, an officer responded to the listed location in reference to an alarm drop. Upon arrival, the alarm was determined to be accidental.
2/7/2015	6:30 PM	Miscellaneous - Unclassified	South Jefferson Ave.	On the stated date and time an officer responded to the listed location in reference to a possible  vandalism complaint that occurred in the parking lot. The victim did not wish to pursue the matter because the damage was minimal.
2/8/2015	1:18 AM	Domestic Dispute	Willowbrook Ct.	On stated date and time officers responded to the listed location in reference to a domestic dispute. Both parties agreed to separate for the evening.
2/8/2015	2:21 AM	Suspicious Person/Vehicle	South Jefferson Ave.	On the stated date and time while on patrol an officer observed a two occupied vehicles parked on a closed business lot. Upon further investigation it was discovered that one of the vehicles had broke down. It was discovered that the other vehicles driver had taken his grandfathers vehicle without his permission. The grandfather advised that he did not wish to pursue with charges and responded to the scene and picked up his vehicle and grandson.
2/8/2015	4:17 PM	Suicide	Murlay Dr.	On the stated date and time officers responded to the listed location in reference to a missing juvenile. Upon arrival and after further investigation, a fourteen year old male was found deceased. The Madison County Coroner was contacted and responded to the scene.
2/8/2015	6:17 PM	Animal Complaint - Other	Gay St.	On the stated date and time an officer responded to the listed location in reference to a lost dog. The caller stated that while walking a dog it ran away. Upon arrival the officer located the dog near the water treatment plant. When they approached the dog it ran away. The caller was advised of this information.

2/9/2015	2:30 PM	Solicitor	Gay St.	On the stated date and time an officer was advised of a solicitor going door to door and was near the listed location. Upon arrival the officer located the solicitor and learned that he had a valid solicitor permit.
2/10/2015	8:04 AM	Non-Injury Crash/Private	South Jefferson Ave.	On this date and time an officer responded to the listed location on the report of a private property non injury crash. Insurance information was exchanged.
2/10/2015	6:14 PM	Threatened Suicide	Weathervane Way	On the stated date and time, an officer responded to the listed location in reference to a suicide threat. Upon arrival contact was made with a parent and they were advised of the alleged threat.
2/11/2015	12:00 AM	Underage Consumption	West Main St.	On the stated date and time, officers responded to the listed location  in reference to a fight. Upon arrival and further investigation it was discovered to be a group of people being loud, but there was no evidence of a fight. One of the parties was discovered to be consuming an alcoholic beverage. Christian E. Allen, 19yoa of London, Ohio was subsequently issued a summons for Underage Consumption.
2/11/2015	8:22 AM	Theft/Identity	Friend St.	On the stated date and time, an officer met with a resident at the Police Department in reference to an identity theft report.  A report was taken and the victim was referred to the Ohio Attorney General's Identity Theft Unit.
2/11/2015	1:29 PM	Solicitor	West South St.	On the stated date and time, officers responded to the area of the listed location in reference to a solicitor complaint. Upon arrival the officers learned that there were four subjects selling Kirby Vacuums door to door without a permit. All four subjects were subsequently summoned for Soliciting Without a Permit.
2/12/2015	8:08 AM	Assault - Misdemeanor	West Main St.	On the stated date and time, an officer responded to Jonathan Alder High School in reference to a fight that occurred on a school bus outside of the listed location. Upon arrival and further investigation it was discovered that one student assaulted another student while on the bus. The parents did not wish to pursue with charges since the school was issuing disciplinary measures to the student.
2/12/2015	8:14 AM	Well-being Check	North Mechanic St.	On the above date and time, an officer responded to the listed location to check the well being on a student that did not arrive for school on this date. Upon arrival at the listed location, an officer located two juveniles hiding in the shed at the rear of the residence. They advised that they were going to skip school. The parties were transported to school by a family member.
2/12/2015	3:04 PM	Interference with Custody	North Ave.	On the stated date and time, an officer responded to the listed location in reference to a civil standby. Officers arrived on the scene and met with a mother who advised us that she let who she believed to be the father of her child watch her son for a few days. She advised that he was now avoiding her while she was trying to pick her son back up. Contact was made with the male, who returned the child without incident. A referral was made with the MCDOJFS.
2/12/2015	4:49 PM	Juvenile	West Main St.	On the stated date and time, an officer responded to the listed location in reference to a juvenile complaint. The complainant advised that several juveniles were playing on a snow mound located in the parking lot and that she had asked them several times to leave the premises and they failed to do so. Contact was made with the juveniles and they were explained the concerns of the business, given warnings and advised the need to vacate the property. Contact was made with the parents to advise them of the situation.

2/13/2015	5:42 PM	Miscellaneous - Unclassified	South Chillicothe St.	On the stated date and time, an officer was flagged down in reference to a possible water main break. The officer made contact with the Village Administrator and advised him of the incident.
2/13/2015	6:10 PM	Juvenile	Central Ave.	On the stated date and time an officer responded to the listed location in reference to a vandalism complaint. The caller advised that a juvenile had damaged her vehicle with a basketball. Arrangements were to be made to have the vehicle repaired at the cost of the juveniles parents.
2/14/2015	2:53 AM	Drunk Driver	South Chillicothe St.	On the stated date and time,  an officer initiated a traffic stop on a vehicle on South Chillicothe street for driving off the right side of the road way. Upon further investigation Dustin A. Burchett, 25yoa of Plain City was placed into custody for OVI. The Hilliard Police Department's K9 officer was requested to the scene. The dog provided a positive alert to rear passenger area and the driver's door. During a search of the vehicle a metal Zippo tin containing Marijuana, and a brown colored glass pipe with burnt marijuana residue was seized.  Mr. Burchett was charged with Failure to Control, OVI, OVI Super Concentration, Drug Paraphernalia, and Possession of Drugs.
2/14/2015	11:58 AM	Non-Injury Hit Skip Crash	Coachman Dr.	On the listed date and time an officer responded to the listed location in reference to a non-injury hit skip. A crash report was completed.
2/14/2015	1:14 PM	Assist Other Agency	SR 161 E	On the date and time an officer responded to the listed location in reference to a seven (7) vehicle car crash.  The OSHP and the Madison County Sheriff's Office were advised of the crash but were not able to respond due to multiple crashes in the county. An officer gathered information and photographed the scene. Note: There were high winds and white out conditions at this time. This information was forwarded to OSHP Post 49.

2/14/2015	8:06 PM	Assist Other Agency	SR 161 E	On the stated date and time, an officer responded to the Madison/Franklin County line to assist with a multi-vehicle non-injury accident. Upon arrival, it was discovered that there were four vehicles involved. An officer stood by and assisted with traffic control until the arrival of the Madison County Sheriff's Office.

2/16/2015	10:19 AM	911 Follow-up	Fairfield Dr.	On the listed date and time an officer responded to the listed location in reference to a 911 follow up. It was discovered a small child was playing with a cell phone and pressed the emergency call button.

FCSO was notified and a tow truck was contacted for the owner.
2/16/2015	7:26 PM	Assist Other Agency	New California Dr.	On this date and time,  an officer responded to the listed location as back-up for the Union County Sheriff's Office on a silent residential alarm. Upon arrival,  contact was made with the homeowner, who advised everything was fine.
2/17/2015	1:00 AM	Dispute	North Ave.	On the listed date and time, an officer responded to the listed location in reference to a dispute over a missing cell-phone. Upon arrival one party advised she believed her spouse took her new phone and hid it. The spouse denied having any knowledge of where the phone might be. They both agreed to stay civil and work together to locate the phone.
2/17/2015	1:13 AM	Suspicious Person/Vehicle	South Jefferson Ave.	On the listed date and time, an officer was on patrol in the area of McDonald’s when they observed a vehicle sitting on the west end of the parking lot running. The officer made contact with the listed occupants and inquired as to why they were on the lot of a closed business. After determining everything to be okay, the officer returned to patrol.

The caller advised that there were two people in a vehicle and one was getting out and walking around houses. An officer patrolled the entire area extensively, but was unable to locate the vehicle.

2/18/2015	9:15 AM	Well Being Check	Friend St.	On this date and time, an officer received a call in reference to male possibly making threats to harm himself. An officer spoke with the male and another family member who advised that he was fine and these statements were made in the past.

Contact was made with all the parents involved to make them aware of their child participation.
2/19/2015	11:22 AM	Threatened Suicide	Villa Dr.	On the above date and time, officers responded to the listed location in reference to a male subject threatening suicide due to depression.  The male was transported to the hospital by Medic 261 of the Pleasant Valley Fire Department.
2/19/2015	4:12 PM	Miscellaneous - Unclassified	Murlay Dr.	On the listed date and time an officer responded to the listed location to assist a resident who locked themselves out of their residence.  The officer was able to gain entry into the residence.
2/19/2015	4:46 PM	Road Hazard	Friend St.	On the stated date and time, while on routine patrol, an officer observed a water main break in front of the listed location. The officer made contact with the Village Administrator and advised him of the situation.
2/20/2015	3:17 PM	Driving Complaint	SR 161 W	On the stated date and time, an officer responded to the area of SR 161 and the west corporation limits in reference to a driving complaint. The complainant stated that a red pickup, pulling a trailer of hay, was driving erratically and had no brake lights. The officer located the vehicle and initiated a traffic stop. The driver was advised of the complaint advised was unaware that he didn’t have any brake lights on the trailer. The driver was able to get the lights working and given a warning for the violation.
2/21/2015	12:04 AM	DOC	West Main St.	On the stated date and time while conducting bar checks a patron entered the listed location and attempted to argue with several of the customers. The patron was escorted from the property, given a warning for disorderly conduct and advised not to return to the premises for the remainder of the night.
2/21/2015	1:42 AM	Aggravated Menacing/Inducing Panic	West Main St.	On the stated date and time officers responded to the listed location in reference to a man threatening to shoot patrons at the bar. Upon arrival contact was made with the caller. The caller stated that when he made contact with the suspect, who lives above the bar, he threatened to shoot him and everyone in the bar. While the officers were approaching the suspects door he stated that he was going to shoot the next person who knocked on his door.  Officers assumed a safe position and had the bar evacuated. Officers had dispatch give instructions to the suspect via public service. The suspect exited his apartment and was taken into custody without incident. Upon further investigation James P. Baldwin, 48yoa of Plain City, was subsequently arrested and charged with Aggravated Menacing, Disorderly Conduct and Inducing Panic. He was transported  to the Tri-County Regional Jail.
2/21/2015	3:04 AM	Trespasser	Dickens Ln.	On the listed date and time, officers responded to the area of the listed location in reference to unknown subjects that had rang his doorbell several times and took off running. Officers checked the area but was unable to locate anyone. Note: While checking the area the officer was advised that another resident from  Dickens called in and advised about someone ringing their doorbell earlier. The officers were tied up during this time with another call.
2/21/2015	11:33 AM	Parking Complaint	West Main St.	On the listed date and time an officer  made contact with a vehicle owner on W. Main St. to have their vehicle moved due to a snow emergency. The vehicle was moved a short time later.
2/21/2015	11:33 AM	Parking Complaint	West Main St.	On the listed date and time, during a snow emergency an officer made contact with the owner of a vehicle parked at the listed location. They were advised to move their vehicle due to the snow emergency.

2/21/2015	2:43 PM	Disabled Vehicle	North Chillicothe St.	On the stated date and time, an officer responded to the listed location in reference to a vehicle stuck in the snow. Upon arrival, and with the assistance of passerby's, they were able to get the vehicle unstuck and on its way.
2/21/2015	3:00 PM	Miscellaneous - Unclassified	Gay St.	On the stated date and time, while on routine patrol, an officer observed a subject lying in the roadway in front of the listed location (on West Bigelow Avenue). The officer made contact with the party who advised that he was fine and just needed assistance getting up. He had been walking with a cane and due to the heavy snow, he slipped. He declined to be seen by a medic. The officer assisted him to his vehicle and returned to patrol.
2/21/2015	3:57 PM	Assist Other Agency	SR 736	On the stated date and time an officer was requested by the Union County Sheriff's Office to the area of SR 736 and US 42 in reference to a vehicle in a ditch. Upon my arrival I stood by until UCSO arrived.
2/21/2015	4:30 PM	Parking Complaint	West Main St.	On the stated date and time an officer observed a vehicle parked in front of the listed location. Due to the snow emergency the officer advised the owner to move her vehicle.
2/21/2015	10:24 PM	Assist Other Agency	Rickard Rd.	On the stated date and time an officer responded to the listed location at the request of the Union County Sheriff’s Office in reference to a suspicious vehicle. The caller advised that a suspicious truck was parked on the lot of the listed location possibly removing property from the building. Upon arrival an officer made contact with the listed party. He advised that he had been shoveling out the church's parking lot. After determining everything checked okay the officer returned to patrol.
2/22/2015	4:32 PM	Threatened Suicide/HOAX	Jackson St.	On the stated date and time an officer was advised of a possible suicide threat.  A female  made a post on social media stating that they were a Jonathan Alder student and they were going to commit suicide. Upon further extensive investigation it was learned the account was made by a thirteen year old female, who was attempting to play a joke. The case was forwarded to the prosecutor for review.
2/23/2015	1:06 AM	Alarm Drop	Village Blvd.	On this date and time, an officer responded to the listed location on an alarm drop. Everything was found to be okay.
2/23/2015	10:15 AM	Theft - Misdemeanor	South Jefferson Ave.	On the above date and time, an officer received a phone call from a manager of a business at the listed location. A patron did not have money to pay for the service and agreed to make restitution. Since 01/19/15 the party had not made restitution.  Contact was made with the suspect, she was advised of the complaint and consequences she faced if she did not make restitution. The party then contacted the business and made restitution.
2/24/2015	9:47 AM	911 Follow-up	North Ave.	On this date and time, an officer responded to the listed location on a 911 follow-up. It was determined to be an old cell phone. Everything checked okay.
2/24/2015	5:51 PM	Domestic Dispute	North Ave.	On the above date and time, an officer to the listed location in reference to a domestic dispute. The dispute was between sibling over pawned items. Both parties agreed to separate.
2/24/2015	10:14 PM	911 Unknown	Murlay Dr.	On the stated date and time an officer responded to the listed location in reference to a 911 follow-up. Dispatch advised they received a call from a 911 only number. Upon arrival it was determined that the resident had accidently dialed 911 on his cell phone.
2/24/2015	11:23 PM	Loud Noise/Disturbance	Smucker Ln.	On the stated date and time an officer responded to the listed location in reference to a loud noise complaint. The caller advised dispatch that a vehicle was outside of the apartment of the listed location playing loud music. Upon my arrival it was determined to be the exhaust of the car. The car was shut off to stop the noise.
2/25/2015	7:10 AM	Animal Complaint - Other	East South St.	On this date and time, an officer was advised of a loose dog walking east on East South Street. The dog was described as a white Great Pyrenees with a black muzzle harness. The officer located the dog and pushed it back toward its owner who was out looking for it. The owner apologized and advised that the clip for the tie-out in the back yard sometimes freezes, causing it to not latch completely on the harness.
2/25/2015	12:12 PM	911 Follow-up	Fairfield Dr.	On the stated date and time, an officer responded to the listed location in reference to a 911 follow up. Upon arrival, that resident advised that her 2 year old grandson was playing on a cell phone and accidently dialed 911.

2/25/2015	6:24 PM	Fire Support	Country Place Ln.	On the stated date and time officers assisted Medic 261 to the listed location in reference to a unknown medical alarm. Before arrival dispatch advised we might have to force entry into the residence. Upon arrival all doors were locked and the resident was inside unable to get to the door. Entry was made by the Pleasant Valley Fire Department.
2/25/2015	7:15 PM	Miscellaneous - Unclassified	Central Ave.	On the stated date and time an officer responded the listed location in reference to a possible scam. The bank was contacted the following day it was determined the contact was legitimate.
2/25/2015	9:30 PM	Burglary - Attempt	Fairfield Dr.	On the stated date and time officers responded to the listed location in reference to a possible burglary in progress. The caller advised dispatch that they thought someone was trying to gain entry into her residence through the back door. Upon arrival the officers searched the area but did not locate any fresh footprints in the snow and did not observe anything out of the ordinary. Contact was made with the resident and they were advised of the findings. They were encouraged to call back if it were to happen again.
2/26/2015	5:27 PM	Assist Other Agency	North Ave.	On the listed date and time officers responded with UCDOJFS to serve an ex parte order in reference to the removal of 2 juveniles from the listed location.
2/26/2015	7:15 PM	Animal Complaint - Other	South Jefferson Ave.	On the listed date and time, an officer responded to the listed location in reference to an animal compliant. The caller, showed the officer a vehicle with a small dog locked inside. The caller was concerned about the dog's condition with the weather being so cold. The dog appeared to be fine and the officer could not locate the owner of the vehicle. The officer returned to the listed location 30minutes later to check on the dog and the vehicle was gone.
2/27/2015	6:03 AM	Assist Other Agency	US Rt. 42 S	On the above date and time, an officer responded to the listed location per the Madison County Sheriff's Office in reference to a possible injury crash. Upon my arrival, the officer located a vehicle that was located in a snow pile at the rear north side of the school. The officer made contact with the driver, who appeared to be intoxicated. The officer placed the driver in investigative custody until the arrival of MCSO. The driver was subsequently arrested by the Madison County Sheriff's Office for OVI. A breathalyzer test was performed at the PCPD per the request of the arresting Deputy.  The test results were .177 BAC.
2/27/2015	6:55 PM	Driving Complaint	East Main St.	On the listed date and time an officer responded to the listed location in reference to a truck and trailer stopped in the roadway loading property. Upon my arrival, the driver was finished loading the property. He was advised that he was impeding traffic and not to park the roadway in the future.
2/27/2015	10:15 PM	Suspicious Person/Vehicle	Village Blvd.	On the listed date and time, an officer responded to the listed location in regards to a suspicious truck driving around in circles in the parking lot of the listed location. Upon arrival, the officer searched the area thoroughly and could not locate the vehicle.
2/28/2015	12:41 AM	Alarm Drop	South Jefferson Ave.	On the stated date and time, an officer responded to the listed location in reference to an alarm drop. It was discovered an employee accidently set the alarm off.
2/28/2015	7:29 AM	Alarm Drop	South Jefferson Ave.	On the listed date and time an officer to the listed location in reference to an alarm drop. Upon arrival  the officer learned that the alarm was accidental due to employee error.
2/28/2015	4:40 PM	Parking Complaint	South Chillicothe St.	On the stated date and time, an officer observed a green Honda parked on South Chillicothe Street (east side) at East West Avenue. Note: There are several "No Parking Signs" on the northbound side of South Chillicothe Street. The officer canvassed the neighborhood and was unable to locate the owner. A Parking Citation for "Parking Where Prohibited by Sign, was placed on the windshield.

Note: There are several "No Parking Signs" on the northbound side of South Chillicothe Street. I canvassed the neighborhood and was unable to locate the owner. A Parking Citation for "Parking Where Prohibited by Sign, was placed on the windshield.
