The vehicle failed to stop and a pursuit ensued. OSP deployed spike strips on I-70 in Springfield, where the vehicle came to a stop. Subsequently, Heidi Evans, 49, of Springfield, who had active felony warrants, was arrested and charged with Failure to Comply. She was transported to Tri-County Regional Jail and the vehicle was towed to the Plain City Police Department Impound Lot. Additional charges may be pending prosecutor's review.

However, the customer does have dementia and previously had a protective measure placed on her account that prohibited her from withdrawing funds without a family member present.
