9/27/2019 5:54 PM Threatened Suicide Maple Ct. While at the police department, Officer received a call from Nationwide Children's Crisis Hotline. They advised Officer that subject had threatened to kill herself and left her residence on foot.  After searching for some time, subject's mother called and advised that subject was home. Officers then spoke with subject.  After determining everything to be fine, both units returned to patrol.   Approved
9/27/2019 3:55 PM Miscellaneous - Unclassified Friend St. Officer received information from MCDOJFS of a possible sexual assault.  The victim informed Officer incident occurred in Dublin.  All information was forwarded to the Dublin Police Department. Plain City Police Department Approved
9/27/2019 8:11 AM DOC North Chillicothe St. Officer was dispatched the area of the large shelter house on the south end of Pastime Park in reference to a loud person complaint. The caller did not want to speak with an officer. Upon arrival, Officer located subject sitting on a picnic table inside the shelter house. Officer spoke with subject who was quietly sitting there. Officer asked if subject had his music up earlier and was being loud. Subject advised that he was and apologized for being loud. Officer advised subject to keep it down in the future. Officer then returned to patrol. Pastime Park Returned
9/27/2019 5:12 AM Assist Other Agency SR 161 E  Officer was advised of a female trying to hitchhike in the area of West Main Street and North Chillicothe Street. Upon arrival, Officer made contact with the subject who advised she was just involved in a vehicle accident east of town. Officer then transported subject out to the crash scene.  Officer waited for the Highway Patrol to arrive. Once Officer's assistance was no longer needed, Officer then returned to patrol.   Pending
9/28/2019 10:15 PM Loud Noise/Disturbance Buggywhip Ln. Officer responded to the listed location in reference to a noise complaint. The caller stated that there was a party at the listed location and there was extremely loud music coming from the residence. Upon arrival, Officer could hear the music from the street. Officer made contact with the homeowner and advised homeowner of the complaint. Homeowner apologized and stated that he would turn the music down. Officer then returned to patrol.   Approved
9/28/2019 6:25 PM Assist Other Agency Kilbury-Huber Rd. Officers were dispatched to the listed location in reference to an alarm drop. Madison County Sherriff's Office was en route as well.  A short time later, MCSO Deputy arrived on the scene and Officers advised  Deputy of Officer's findings. Officers then returned to patrol.   Approved
9/28/2019 3:00 PM Well-being Check North Chillicothe St. Officer was requested by Plain City/Pastime Park Employee to check the well-being of subject who was staying at RV campsite.  Officer knocked on the camper but was unsuccessful in his attempts. Officer was able to reach subject via telephone who advised he was okay and that he was at the hospital with a medical issue. Officer forwarded the info to complainant and returned to patrol. 9/28/2019 9:37 AM Attempted Suicide North Ave. Officer was dispatched to the listed location in reference to female that called 911 advising she was thinking of killing herself. Upon arrival, Officer met with the caller. Officer observed that caller was not listening clearly and appeared to be having a mental episode. Caller agreed to be transported to the hospital for treatment. Officer assisted the medics with getting caller into the medic. Officer then returned to patrol. 9/29/2019 4:39 PM Telecom Harassment South Jefferson Ave. Officer was met by complainant at the listed location in reference to telecom harassment who advised she was receiving harassing text messages from subject.   Complainant requested Officer make contact with subject and request subject not to contact complainant again. Officer then contacted subject via telephone and advised subject of the complaint. Subject advised there would be no further contact between her and complainant. After determining everything to be fine, Officer then returned to patrol. Der Dutchman Approved

9/26/2019 11:47 PM Suspicious Vehicle North Chillicothe St. Officer was patrolling Pastime Park when Officer observed a red Chrysler PT Cruiser parked and unoccupied near the baseball fields. Officer checked the vehicle and the baseball fields and didn't notice anything else out of the ordinary. Dispatch made contact with the vehicle owner who advised his wife went out with a friend and parked the vehicle there. Vehicle owner advised he would be picking the vehicle up shortly. 9/26/2019 9:24 PM Traffic Stop US Rt. 42 N  Officer observed a gray Ford SUV traveling southbound on US 42 near West Main St. Having prior knowledge the vehicle driver, Diego Spindola, had No drivers license Officer initiated a traffic stop with the vehicle. Officer had just cleared a traffic stop with Diego minutes before this one. During that traffic stop, Diego was advised to have a valid driver pick he and the vehicle up and he was told multiple times not to drive. Diego was subsequently issued another traffic citation for Non Compliance Suspension and No Valid OL. This time Deigo's vehicle was towed to the PCPD impound lot.  Diego waited at Mcdonalds for his ride.   Pending
9/26/2019 7:31 PM Disabled Vehicle West Main St. Officer observed a black GMC SUV at the intersection of West Main St and North Chillicothe St. The vehicle was disabled. It was later found the vehicle driver had run out of gas.  Officer assisted with pushing the vehicle to a gas pump at Mike's Pit Stop. Officer then returned to patrol.   Pending
9/26/2019 3:44 PM Parking Complaint East Main St. Officer observed a black Honda motorcycle parked on the sidewalk in front of the listed location. Officer made contact with motorcycle owner and advised him that the motorcycle needed to be moved. Officer advised him that vehicles were not permitted to be parked on the sidewalk. Motorcyle owner advised he would move it.  Officer then returned to patrol.   Pending

The caller stated that a red Dodge pickup was parked on the street, running with its lights on. He also observed that the passenger door was open. Upon arrival, Officer learned that subject had stopped at the residence for a few minutes and one of her children left the door open. After determining everything to be fine, Officer returned to patrol.   Approved
9/25/2019 5:16 PM Assist Other Agency SR 161 E  Officers responded to SR 161 east of the corporation limits in reference to a possible injury accident. Officers stood by on the scene until OSP Post 49 Trooper arrived on the scene. Once Officer's presence was no longer needed, Officers returned to patrol.   Approved

9/24/2019 6:48 PM Animal Complaint - Other Shepper Ave. Officer was dispatched to the listed location in reference to a found dog complaint. Upon arrival, Officer met with the complainant who advised the dog came walking up to him in the yard. Officer then took possession of the dog and placed it in his cruiser. Officer located the owner and released the dog to him. Officer advised dog owner of the possible consequences for additional violation. Officer then returned to patrol.   Pending
9/24/2019 5:06 PM Road Hazard North Ave. Officer was flagged down by a passerby in reference to a possible water main break at the intersection of North Avenue and East First Avenue. Upon arrival, Officer observed a small water leak in the roadway on the southwest corner of the intersection. Officer notified PC Public Works of the situation who stated that they would take a look at it in the morning. Officer then returned to patrol.   Approved
9/24/2019 2:25 PM Civil Dispute/Standby Anderson Ave. On the stated date and time, Officer met with complainant and her friend at the police department. Complainant advised that she had let subjects keep her children for several months due to work. Complainant advised that she now wanted her children back and subjects have denied that. Officer contacted Franklin County Court and verified that complainant is the paternal mother and has all rights to the children. Officers went to the listed location and met with subjects. Officer advised subjects that complainant has custody of the children until the court determines otherwise. Subject was advised of the possible consequences if she did not release the children to complainant. The children were given to Officers who took them outside and gave them to complainant. After determining everything to be fine, Officers returned to patrol.   Pending

The caller stated that she heard a loud bang coming from somewhere near the listed location. Upon arrival, Officer made contact with another resident who stated that he also heard the firework but was not sure where it had come from. After checking the area further and locating nothing out of the ordinary Officer returned to patrol.   Returned
9/23/2019 3:00 PM Miscellaneous - Unclassified East Main St. Officer received a call from complainant in reference to a possible theft of a diamond ring. Complainant was advised of all of her options, and complainant advised she would contact Officer tomorrow.  Officer attempted contact with owner of business several times throughout Officer's shift but was never able to speak with business owner. The caller advised she had not seen the man who lives at the listed location out and about today which was abnormal. Officer was unable to make contact with the resident after knocking on the door and ringing the doorbell.  Officer later made contact with the resident's son, who advised his father was in the hospital but everything was fine. Officer relayed this information to the reporting party and returned to patrol.   Pending
9/20/2019 5:52 PM Neighbor Dispute Gray St. Officer spoke over the phone with complainant who advised Officer she and her neighbor were in a verbal dispute.  Officer later spoke with the neighbor who advised Officer she and complainant both had choice words for each other. Both parties were advised not to speak with each other if they couldn't get along. Officer then returned to patrol.   Pending
9/20/2019 4:12 PM Traffic Stop US Rt. 42 N  Officer conducted a routine registration check on a silver Dodge Van.  The registration returned to, Donald Wester, a suspended driver. Officer initiated a traffic stop with the vehicle and made contact with the vehicle owner/driver, Donald Wester. Officer advised Donald the reason for the traffic stop. Donald was issued a traffic citation for OVI Suspension x2 and No Valid OL. Donald's vehicle was towed to the PCPD impound lot.   Donald was picked up by a valid driver.   Pending
9/20/2019 3:46 PM Failure to Pay West Main St. Officer responded to the listed location in reference to a drive off. Upon arrival, Officer spoke with an employee of the business who advised Officer a yellow vehicle had driven off without paying for $34.00 in gas. Officer was able to make contact with the vehicle owner who advised Officer that he swiped his card and pumped his gas with no issues. Driver later went back to Marathon and paid the outstanding balance. Marathon/Lovejoy Food Mart Pending
9/20/2019 7:37 AM Parking Complaint East Main St. Officer was dispatched to the listed location in reference to two motorcycles parked in the no-parking zone for the road construction. Upon arrival, Officer located the motorcycles.  Officer then made contact with the resident who was advised of the complaint and that the motorcycles needed to be moved. While speaking with resident, Officer advised motorcycle owner that the motorcycle parked on the sidewalk also needs moved. Officer then stood by while resident moved the motorcycles. Officer then returned to patrol.   Approved
9/21/2019 10:52 PM Warrant - Misdemeanor South Jefferson Ave. On the stated date and time, while investigating another incident Officer made contact with, David Comstock. Upon speaking with David, Officer learned David had an entered warrant for Failure to Appear out of Fostoria Municipal Court. After confirming the warrant, Officer placed David into custody and transported him to Tri-County Jail. Officer released David into their custody and returned to patrol. Dollar General Store Approved
9/21/2019 10:33 PM Suspicious Circumstances South Jefferson Ave. Officer responded to the listed location in reference to the sound of gunshots. The caller stated that while parked at the Dollar General, he observed two people in the parking lot just north of his location. Caller stated that a short time later he heard what sounded like two gunshots coming from that area. Caller stated that when he looked back to where the people were previously they were gone. 9/21/2019 2:48 PM 911 Follow-up Murlay Dr. On the listed date and time, Officer was dispatched to the listed location in reference to a 911 follow up. Dispatch advised the male they spoke with advised it was a pocket dial. Upon arrival,  Officer met with the caller who confirmed everything was okay and apologized for the incident. Upon determining everything to be okay, Officer returned to patrol.   Pending
9/21/2019 12:51 AM Suspicious Circumstances Fairfield Dr. Officer was on patrol when Officer observed an open door of a vehicle at the listed location. Officer then made contact with the registered owner who checked the vehicle and advised nothing was missing and shut the door. 9/22/2019 12:24 AM Suspicious Person/Vehicle South Chillicothe St. While on patrol, Officer observed a Toyota van parked in the front parking lot of the listed location. Officer made contact with the vehicles driver and the passenger.  The driver stated that they were picking someone up from a residence in Plain City at 0300 Hours and had parked in the lot to wait until that time. Upon speaking to driver further and determining everything checked okay, Officer returned to patrol. Plain City Elementary School Approved
