9/12/2019 6:58 PM Disabled Vehicle South Jefferson Ave. Officer observed a red Mini Cooper off the roadway on South Jefferson Avenue and Perry Pike. The vehicle had its hazard lights on and was very close to the fog line. Officer made contact with vehicle occupant who stated that she ran out of gas and her husband should be there any minute. When her husband arrived on the scene it was found that the vehicle had a small gas leak. Officer and husband of vehicle occupant were able to push the vehicle onto the lot of Shell to further assess it.  After Officer assistance was no longer needed, Officer returned to patrol.   Approved
9/12/2019 6:01 PM Domestic Dispute North Ave. Officer received a direct call on station from complaint advising Officer that she and her sister got into a verbal argument. Complainant asked if an officer could come out before it got out of hand. A minute after the first call came in Officer received a second call from complainant advising that her sister was making accusations that complainant had struck her. Officers arrived on scene and made contact with complainant and her daughter.  Bother parties had inconsistent stories. Complainant's daughter was the only other person in the room when the incident occurred. Complainant's daughter advised Officer that no physical altercation occurred. Due to the inconsistency in the stories no arrests were made. Complainant advised she would be leaving for the night, along with her daughter.  Officers then returned to patrol.   Pending
9/12/2019 1:30 PM Animal Complaint - Other South Chillicothe St. Officer met with complainant at the police department in reference to a loose canine. She advised that she was running on South Chillicothe Street and observed a small black dog, possibly a lab mix, standing on the sidewalk. Complainant approached the canine and it ran into an open gate at the rear of a residence on South Chillicothe Street. Complainant secured the gate behind the canine and wanted to make sure that it was the correct house. Upon arrival, Officer observed the canine in question and made contact with the resident. Officer advised canine owner of the incident and also to make sure that she keeps the canine inside her yard at all times.  Canine owner was given a warning for Animals Running at Large and Officer returned to patrol.   Approved
