Officer was requested to meet with business owner and a customer at the listed location. Officer determined that the vehicle would be unsafe to drive on the road. Officer advised vehicle owner of this and she eventually agreed to have the vehicle moved outside so she could decide at a later time to have the vehicle fixed. She was warned not to drive the vehicle until it was repaired. Officer then returned to patrol.

Officer than spoke to the Union County Sheriff's Office.  UCSO was able to make contact with the telephone representatives and instructed them to remove the business from their calling list.

Officer was met on station by complainant who advised that she had found a Freedom VISA card while on South Chillicothe Street. Officer attempted to contact the owner and learned that he was deceased. Officer spoke with his son, who advised to destroy the card. Officer ran the card through the shredder.

Officer was contacted via phone by complainant who advised that he recently had a trailer stolen from his business in Worthington. Complainant advised that he was periodically checking Craigslist to see if someone tried to sell his trailer. Today he found a listing for a trailer very similar to his. In examining the numbers it was discovered that the trailer was the same trailer reported as stolen by complainant.  Detectives from the Worthington Police Department were on scene and released the trailer to the owner.

Officer was met at the Police Department by complainant in reference to a telecommunication harassment complaint. Officer advised complainant to block the number and not to contact it in any way. Officer also advised her of the proper agency to contact and the steps to take if the calls continue. Complainant thanked me the Officer for his time, Officer than returned to patrol.

Officer observed a westbound blue Jeep Cherokee fail to stop for the Red light. Officer stopped the vehicle on the lot of Lovejoy's Plaza. I met with the driver, Jordan Donofrio. I later learned that Jordan was suspended and had an entered (confirmed) warrant out of Marysville Municipal Court for failure to appear for a Non- Compliance Suspension. Officer placed Jordan into custody without incident and issued Jordan a citation for Red Light Violation, Non Compliance Suspension and No Operator's License. Officer later transported Jordan to the Union County Sheriff's Office where he was turned over to a Deputy without incident. Officer then returned to patrol. See attached Warrant for any additional information.

Officer was on patrol when he observed a road hazard near the listed location. A tree had fallen onto the roadway, obstructing the entire roadway. Due to the large size of the tree, Officer contacted to the Street Department to assist with removing the tree. The tree was removed. Officer then returned to patrol.

Officer was requested by the Madison County Sheriff's Office to respond to the area of Lafayette-Plain City Road and Kauffman Road in reference a young male reportedly attempting to hitchhike. Upon my arrival to the area Officer did not locate anyone walking.  Officer later advised Madison County of findings and returned to patrol.

Complainant arrived on station and reported that her residence is vacant and for sale. She drove by the residence today and noticed a handwritten note taped to the front door for Fed Ex. She believes that an unknown person is attempting to have a package delivered at the vacant address to cover some type of criminal activity.  Officer attempted to contact Fed Ex Express Security Specialist and left a voice message with details.

Officer was dispatched to the listed location in reference to a possible trespassing complaint. The complainant stated that there were several subjects in her backyard with no coats on. The complainant further stated that there was a woman and a child hiding upstairs in her closet. The complainant’s son and Officer did not locate any subjects inside the house. Complainant thanked Officer for checking and advised that she would call if they come back.
Officer also spoke with complainant’s son and advised him to keep an eye on her and contact the police department if he needed any assistance. CIT Report was completed.

Officers received a call from complainant who advised his daughter’s friends has posted a suicide threat on social media site "Tik Tok". After determining everything to be fine, both units returned to patrol.  Later that night Officer received a call from the subject’s legal guardian and she was advised of the incident.

She was advised to contact the police department if she had any questions.

Officer responded to the intersection of Jackson Blvd and East Main St in reference to a non-injury crash. Upon arrival, Officer spoke to the vehicle driver and his passenger.  The driver advised Officer he was driving westbound on SR 161 near Butler Avenue when he struck a deer causing damage to the front bumper/hood area of his 2014 Toyota Camry.   After assistance was no longer needed, Officer returned to patrol.
