12/12/2016	6:20 PM	Driving Complaint	US Rt. 42 N	Officer was dispatched to the listed location in reference to a driving complaint. The caller advised a red Lincoln was driving without tail lights and was driving all over the roadway. Upon arrival Officer located the vehicle and initiated a traffic stop. Officer determined the driver was not impaired and advised the driver to drive with his hazards on and to get it fixed immediately.
12/12/2016	8:13 PM	Dead on Arrival	Perry Pk.	Officers were dispatched to the listed location in reference to a non-responsive male. Upon our arrival it was determined that the male was deceased.

12/13/2016	12:46 PM	Well-being Check	Fairfield Dr.	Officer was contacted via phone. The caller advised that her daughter is in the custody of Franklin County Children Services. The caller advised that her daughter was in the Plain City area. Officer was contacted by Franklin County Department of Jobs and Family Services and confirmed that the daughter was an entered runaway, missing since 09/25/2016. Officer checked all the given locations numerous times during my shift but did not locate the daughter.
12/13/2016	1:45 PM	Well-being Check	Willowbrook Ct.	Officer was requested by the Marysville Police Department to attempt to locate a male subject. Officer made contact with the subject's mother. She advised that he had left earlier in the day. Officer forward this information to the Marysville Police Department.
12/13/2016	2:56 PM	Well-being Check	Willowbend Cir.	Officer was dispatched to the listed location to check the welfare of the resident. A concerned citizen called advising that they feared that an individual was taking advantage of the resident financially due to an incident that occurred today. Officer met with the resident and spoke to him about the individual. The resident advised that he was okay the situation. The Officer advised him that the Police Department could contact the individual if he began to harass or annoy with requests. The resident declined at this time.
12/13/2016	3:52 PM	Assist Other Agency	US Rt. 42 N	Officer was requested to assist the Union County Sheriff's Office with traffic control at the listed intersection on the listed route due to a fatal accident. Officer assisted until relieved by Union County Emergency Management Agency.
12/13/2016	4:58 PM	Message Delivery	Willowbrook Ct.	Officer was requested by the Union County Sheriff's Office to make a death notification at this location. Upon arrival Officer delivered the message to the resident.
12/14/2016	5:35 PM	Domestic Dispute	Village Blvd.	Officer was dispatched to the listed location in reference to a dispute. Upon arrival Officer met with the caller. She advised that she and her estranged husband, are separated and in the process of a divorce. The visit started out friendly until they began to discuss the division of property. Both parties advised that there was no violence or threats made. Both parties were advised to avoid contact with each other and also to contact the Police in the future for a civil standby.
12/14/2016	7:30 AM	Non-Injury Crash/Private	West Main St.	Officer responded to the listed location on the report of a non-injury crash that occurred in the back parking lot. 12/14/2016	8:10 AM	Recovered/Found Property	Friend St.	Officer spoke to the resident via public service regarding his credit card that had been turned into the police department by a person who had been walking in town. He thanked the Officer and requested that the card be destroyed.	Plain City Police Department
12/14/2016	5:06 PM	Juvenile	Murlay Dr.	Officer was dispatched to the area of the retention pond behind the listed street in reference to juveniles in the area. Upon arrival Officer made contact with the juveniles who were leaving the area. They advised that they had walked around the pond but were not on the water. Officer advised of the dangers of the cold water. Officer spoke to the juvenile's mother and advised her of the complaint but that neither of the juveniles were on the ice.

12/15/2016	6:19 PM	Assist Other Agency	West Main St.	Officer responded to the listed location at the request of the West Jefferson Police Department to make contact with a resident. A silver Buick registered to the resident was a suspect vehicle out of a theft. Upon arrival Officer made contact with the resident who stated that he was selling the vehicle to one of his tenants. Officer forwarded this information to the West Jefferson Police Department.
12/15/2016	10:20 PM	Non-Injury Hitskip	Gay St.	Officer received a direct complaint in reference to a possible hit skip. Officer responded to the listed location and spoke with the complainant. She advised that at some point in the evening someone struck her vehicle and her front bumper was torn off. Officer patrolled the area but was unable to find any vehicles with corresponding damage.
12/15/2016	7:45 AM	Theft - Misdemeanor	West Ave.	Officer received a phone call from the listed address. The caller advised that sometime overnight, an eight foot inflatable snowman was stolen from her front yard. Officer advised the Police Department would keep an eye out for it.
12/16/2016	6:23 AM	Non-Injury Crash	SR 161 E	Officer responded to the listed location on the report of a car versus deer crash. Upon arrival, Officer made contact with the driver, who advised that he was travelling eastbound when a deer ran out in front of him.

Upon arrival Officer met with the driver, who advised he backed into the pole for the business' sign. Officer made contact with the business owner. The incident was documented. 12/16/2016	4:23 PM	Suspicious Person/Vehicle	South Chillicothe St.	Officer was dispatched to the listed location in reference to a suspicious vehicle/person. Upon arrival Officer met with the caller and his daughter. They advised when the daughter pulled into the back of their residence, a white single cab truck stopped at their driveway. A white, older male, possibly in his fifties was driving the vehicle. The vehicle stopped and the man began staring at the daughter. The caller noticed this from inside of the residence and walked outside. As he did so, the van took off at a high rate of speed down the alley. The incident was documented.

The complainant stated there were two SUV's behind the school with their lights on. We checked the area, but were unable to locate any vehicles. Officers determined everything to be fine. 12/17/2016	3:23 AM	Suspicious Person/Vehicle	West Main St.	Officer was on patrol and observed a black Mazda 6 parked at a fuel pump. Officer made contact with the registered owner and her passenger. She advised they were on their way home when she noticed her fuel gauge was on empty. She attempted to use the fuel pumps but they were not turned on. She advised she did not want to run out of fuel in the bad road conditions. Officer provided enough fuel to make it to an open fueling station.	Marathon/Lovejoy Food Mart
12/17/2016	6:39 AM	Suspicious Person/Vehicle	Maple St.	Officer responded to the listed location in reference to a suspicious person. The caller stated that a male subject appeared to be sleeping in a grey Chevy Truck in front of the listed location. Upon arrival Officer made contact with driver who stated that he had left work early and needed to go to the Post Office. Due to poor road conditions he decided to wait near the listed location rather than drive home. Officer determined everything checked okay.	US Post Office
12/17/2016	6:59 PM	Road Hazard	West Ave.	Officer was dispatched to the listed location in reference to a road hazard. Officer met with the driver of a Penske moving truck. She stated that she had gotten stuck partially in the yard of the listed location. She contacted the homeowner and agreed to fix the yard civilly. Officer returned to patrol once the truck was no longer a hazard.

12/18/2016	1:54 PM	Animal Complaint - Other	Friend St.	Officer was at the listed location when advised by an individual that he had found a dog. Officer made contact with the homeowner and advised him of the complaint and of the possible consequences of dogs running at large.

He had questions regarding a person that kept coming to his residence and he didn't want them to. Officer explained several options to him and after presence was no longer needed, Officer returned to patrol.

12/7/2016	7:20 AM	Bad Checks	West Main St.	While on a business contact, an employee advised of a bad check complaint. She said the suspect has not made contact with them to resolve the matter. Officer made contact with the suspect a short time later and told her to contact the business to make arrangements for the bad checks. 12/7/2016	6:32 PM	Warrant - Misdemeanor	Converse Ave.	Officers were attempting to serve a warrant for theft at the listed location. Officers made contact with Krista Bundy who was transported to the Tri-County Regional Jail for Theft and Resisting Arrest.
12/7/2016	11:25 AM	Injury Crash	South Chillicothe St.	Officer responded to listed location on the report of a two vehicle non-injury accident. Upon arrival, Officer found a black Ford truck and United States Postal Service mail truck that were involved in the crash. Brandon Heisler was issued a citation for Assured Clear Distance Ahead.
12/7/2016	7:10 AM	Suspicious Person	US Rt. 42 N	Officer was advised of a suspicious person walking on the listed state route. Officers located the male and stopped to see if he needed any assistance. After determining that he did not need any assistance, he continued walking southbound, advising he was on his way to Idaho.
12/7/2016	2:43 PM	Well-being Check	Willow Bend Cir	Officers were dispatched to the listed location in reference to a well-being check. Officers made contact with the resident and determined she was fine. A message was relayed to the caller, and Officers returned to patrol.
12/8/2016	9:15 PM	Drug Paraphernalia	South Jefferson Ave.	Officers observed a red Pontiac Grand Am northbound on listed avenue with a headlight out. Officers initiated a traffic stop. Upon further investigation, Rhyan Ash was subsequently issued a summons for Drug Paraphernalia and a warning for One Headlight violation.

12/8/2016	1:18 PM	Trespasser	West Bigelow Ave.	Officers responded to the listed location on report of an unwanted guest. Upon arrival, Officers learned that the two male subjects had been into the business to turn in job applications. They remained in the business for quite some time afterward and an employee asked them to leave. When they didn't leave after about 15 minutes, Officers were contacted to remove them from the business. Officers told them to leave, which they did without further incident.	Pioneer Pizza
12/8/2016	2:40 PM	Suspicious Circumstances	South Jefferson Ave.	Officer was contacted via phone to check the listed location. The caller stated that there was a towel that looked to be bloody lying in the middle of the road. Upon arrival, Officer found the towel. It appeared to have paint on the towel and disposed of it. 12/8/2016	5:40 PM	Parking Complaint	East West Ave.	While on routine patrol, Officers observed a white Saturn parked in front of the listed location. The vehicle was blocking most of the roadway and made it very difficult to drive around. Officers made contact with the owner at the listed location. She apologized and moved the vehicle without incident.
12/9/2016	8:56 PM	Fireworks	South Chillicothe St.	Officers responded to the listed location in reference to a firework complaint. The complainant stated that his son was walking in front of their residence when someone threw a firework near his head. The firework passed his head and went off several feet away. Officers checked with several neighbors but no one witnessed or heard the incident. Officers checked the area but were unable to locate the firework.
12/9/2016	9:58 PM	Juvenile	Willow Creek Dr.	Officer was dispatched to the listed area in reference to a possible vandalism. Dispatch advised several juveniles were on the property of the listed location messing with Christmas decorations.  Upon arrival Officer located several juveniles walking on an adjacent street. Officer then made contact with the juveniles, who admitted to being on the property. All guardians were contacted and made aware of the situation.
12/9/2016	11:58 PM	Traffic Stop	East Main St.	Officer conducted a routine registration check on a black Honda Accord. Officer learned that the registered owner was under suspension. Officer then initiated a traffic stop with the vehicle and made contact with the driver/owner. Robert Paterson III was subsequently issued a citation for No Valid Operators License and License Forfeiture Suspension.
12/9/2016	3:38 PM	Non-Injury Crash/Private	West Main St.	Officer was dispatched to the listed location in reference to a private property crash. Upon arrival Officer made contact with driver of a white Dodge Ram and the driver of a tan Chevy truck. 12/9/2016	4:24 PM	Civil Dispute/Standby	Cottonwood Ct.	Officer responded to the listed location in reference to a civil standby. Upon arrival Officer stood by while the two parties exchanged children. Once assistance was no longer necessary, Officer returned to patrol.
12/10/2016	6:50 PM	911 Follow-up	Maple St.	Officer was dispatched to the listed location in reference to a 911 hang up. Officer checked the area and made contact with the homeowner. He stated his toddler had his phone and accidently dialed 911. Officer determined everything to be okay.
12/10/2016	11:19 PM	Suspicious Circumstances	Cooper Ln.	Officers were on routine patrol and observed the driver's side door ajar on a white Jeep. Officers made contact with the owner, and advised him of the incident. Property was secured and Officers determined everything to be fine.
12/10/2016	8:35 PM	Resisting Arrest	West South St.	Officers went to the listed location to serve two warrants. The warrants were out of the Madison County Municipal Court for Domestic Violence and Endangering Children. Joann Myers was transported to the Tri-County Regional Jail. She was subsequently charged with Resisting Arrest.
12/10/2016	7:56 PM	Miscellaneous - Unclassified	West Bigelow Ave.	Officers were dispatched to the listed location in reference to two males who were yelling at patrons while they were inside the laundry mat. Upon arrival Officers observed four individuals sitting at the table. Officers asked them about the incident and advised them that they needed to calm down and not bother patrons. Officer then initiated a traffic stop with the vehicle and made contact with the driver/owner, Jodi Williamson. She was subsequently issued a citation for No Valid Operators License, Non Compliance Suspension and Failure to Reinstate.
12/10/2016	2:47 AM	Traffic Stop	South Jefferson Ave.	Officer conducted a routine registration check on a black Dodge Ram on the listed avenue. Officer initiated a traffic stop and made contact with the driver/owner, Christopher Johnson. He was subsequently issued a citation for No Valid Operators License and License Forfeiture Suspension.

He stated that a male subject had been in his restaurant yelling and cursing. 12/11/2016	2:37 AM	Parking Complaint	South Chillicothe St.	Officers were on routine patrol, and observed a blue Honda CRV parked illegally in front of the listed location. A parking citation for Parking Where Prohibited by Signs was left under the driver's wiper blade.
12/11/2016	4:27 AM	Disabled Vehicle	South Chillicothe St.	Officers responded to the listed location in reference to a direct call. The caller advised her vehicle, a blue Honda CRV, was out of fuel. Upon arrival Officers spoke with the caller and gave directions to the nearest gas station where she was able to refuel.

He stated that sometime during the previous night someone had struck their mailbox and then left the scene. He requested Officer document the incident for insurance purposes. 12/11/2016	9:02 PM	Disabled Vehicle	US Rt. 42 N	Officer was conducting routine patrol and discovered a disabled vehicle at the listed location. Officer observed a red Dodge Ram with a trailer. The driver stated his tail light on his trailer was giving him issues so he wanted to fix it. The vehicle was not a hazard. Once the vehicle left, Officer returned to patrol.
