10/17/2016	9:09 PM	911 Unknown	East Main St.	Officer was dispatched to the listed location in reference to a 911 unknown.  Upon arrival Officer could not locate anyone at the listed location. 10/17/2016	9:27 PM	Other Dispute	West Main St.	Officer was flagged down by a person who advised it sounded like there was a fight going on at the listed location. Officers arrived on scene to find female juvenile and her father in the nearby parking lot. Officer spoke with the involved parties and an employee at the listed location. 10/17/2016	12:02 AM	Suspicious Circumstances	Carriage Dr.	Officer observed the right rear sliding door to a Dodge Grand Caravan open. Officer made contact with the vehicle owner, who advised everything was okay. Officer determined everything to check okay.
10/18/2016	1:59 PM	Theft - Felony	Lewis Cir.	Officer was dispatched to the listed location in reference to a theft complaint. Upon arrival, Officer met with the complainant. She advised that several items of jewelry were missing from the residence. Investigation pending.
10/18/2016	4:17 PM	Miscellaneous - Unclassified	Willowbend Cir.	Officer received an anonymous call that there were two white males walking around the neighborhood and they thought they were soliciting. Upon arrival, Officer located subjects matching the description and initiated a traffic stop with a grey Chevrolet Malibu. Officer made contact with males and advised them of the complaint and learned that they were not soliciting. Officer determined everything to be fine.
10/18/2016	6:26 PM	Suspicious Person/Vehicle	West South St.	Officer was dispatched to the listed location in reference to a suspicious vehicle, The complainant advised that a white Crown Vic pulled into his driveway. Subjects exited the vehicle and walked toward the retention pond, west of the residence. They were gone a few minutes, then came back to the vehicle and left the scene. Officer patrolled the area, but was unable to locate a vehicle matching that description.

Upon arrival Officer heard loud music coming from the garage at the listed location. Officer made contact with the home owner and asked him to turn the music down he complied with no issues.

10/18/2016	8:00 PM	Traffic Stop	South Jefferson Ave.	Officer conducted a routine registration check on a Silver Dodge Ram. Officer learned that the registered owner was under suspension. The vehicle then changed lanes twice failing to signal. Officer initiated a traffic stop with the vehicle.  Reuben Stutzman, who was subsequently issued a citation for No Operators License and two Non Compliance Suspensions. He was verbally warned for Failure to Signal and Expired Registration.	McDonald's
10/18/2016	11:25 PM	Assault - Felony	Gay St.	Officers responded to the listed area in reference to a possible Domestic incident. Upon arrival, Officers could hear yelling and screaming coming from the back yard. Officers walked to the back yard and advised Shawn Writesel to calm down and to stop yelling. Shawn Writesel then became very hostile towards a female subject, witnesses and the Officers. Shawn was advised he was under arrest for disorderly conduct when he began actively resisting arrest. Shawn was transported to Tri-County Jail on two counts of Assault on a Police Officer. Additional charges for Disorderly Conduct, Obstructing Official Business Resisting arrest are pending.
10/19/2016	4:55 PM	Suspicious Vehicle	Willowbend Cir.	Officers were dispatched to the listed area in reference to a suspicious vehicle that was parked along the field behind some of the residences. Upon arrival Officers observed the vehicle, a black GMC SUV and made contact with driver/owner who was conducting maintenance work on some of the residences. Officers determined everything was okay.
10/19/2016	12:12 PM	Threatened Suicide	Willowbrook Ct.	Officer was dispatched to the listed location in reference to suicide threats. Upon arrival Officer met with the caller, who advised that her husband had made threats and she felt that he may harm himself. Officer arrived at the residence and stood by for the husband. When he arrived he confirmed that he was almost out of medication. Medic 261 was dispatched to the scene and later transported him to the hospital for evaluation.
10/19/2016	4:29 PM	Theft - Misdemeanor	Smucker Ln.	Officers were dispatched to the listed location in reference to a theft complaint. Upon arrival, Officers met with the caller who stated that she had a wooden ottoman stolen from her rear patio. She did not know exactly when it was stolen.  Officers walked through the complex and were unable to locate it.

10/20/2016	6:01 PM	Juvenile	West Ave.	Officers were dispatched to the listed intersection in reference to a juvenile complaint. Upon arrival Officers located the juveniles, who stated they thought it would be fun to chase a vehicle as she drove away. Officer advised of the possible consequences if their actions continued. Officers later contacted the juvenile's parents about the incident.
10/20/2016	6:19 PM	Loud Noise/Disturbance	Jackson St.	Officers were dispatched to the listed location in reference to a loud music complaint. Upon arrival, Officer made contact with the homeowner and advised him of the complaint. He agreed to turn the music down.
10/20/2016	7:49 PM	Non-Injury Hitskip	West Bigelow Ave.	Officers were dispatched to the listed location in reference to a non-injury hit skip accident. Upon arrival, Officers made contact with the vehicle owner who stated he was sitting in his vehicle when a female in a dark colored car hit his vehicle while backing out of a parking spot. Upon further investigation, Officers met with the driver a short time later; who advised that she was unaware she struck anything. Insurance information was exchanged for both parties. 10/20/2016	11:15 AM	Civil Dispute/Standby	Murlay Dr.	Officer was dispatched to the listed location in reference to a civil standby. The caller requested a civil standby at the residence while she retrieved property from her estranged husband. Upon arrival she loaded the property without incident and left the area.
10/21/2016	11:25 AM	Telecom Harassment	East Main St.	Officer was dispatched to the listed location in reference to telecommunications harassment. Upon arrival Officer spoke with the victim's grandmother, who advised that someone had called her grandson's phone asking for "Free Hugs". Officer advised both the grandmother and grandson if it happened again to call the police department.
10/21/2016	5:55 PM	Recovered/Found Property	West Main St.	Officer was dispatched to the listed location in reference to a found syringe. Upon arrival Officer spoke with the caller, who advised he had found a syringe in front of the listed location. Officer learned that the registered owner was under suspension and initiated a traffic stop. 10/22/2016	11:10 PM	Curfew	West Main St.	Officers made contact with two juvenile females that were out past curfew in front of the listed location. They advised that they were walking to Mike's Pit Stop from one of the juvenile's residence. Officers advised the parents of the curfew laws. 10/23/2016	11:24 PM	Loud Noise/Disturbance	Church St.	Officer responded to the listed location in reference to a loud noise complaint. Upon arrival Officer spoke with the caller, who advised her neighbor was being very loud causing her not to be able to sleep. Officer spoke with the neighbor who was intoxicated and sitting on his porch who said he would go inside for the rest of the night to avoid any problems.

10/23/2016	12:44 AM	Domestic Dispute	North Ave.	Officers responded to a domestic dispute at the listed location. The caller stated that a male assaulted a female in front of the apartment. The male took off running towards the downtown area as they were calling the police. Upon arrival Officers made contact with the involved party, she stated that her ex-boyfriend, was knocking on her door. She stated she did not want to see him and did not answer the door. She stated she was not harmed by him in any way. Officers also did not observe any visible injuries and she declined medical attention.
10/23/2016	9:30 PM	GSI	Anderson Ave.	Officers responded to the listed location in reference to a sexual assault. Officer spoke with the victim who advised the alleged assault occurred just over a year ago. Investigation pending.

10/10/2016	3:14 AM	Curfew	Maple Ct.	Officer was dispatched to a reported kidnapping. The caller advised that a male had taken off with her 12 year-old daughter in a maroon Nissan van. Officer located the vehicle and upon the vehicle coming to a stop the daughter exited the vehicle and saying she was fine. Officer issued the male juvenile a citation for no Operator's License and released him and the vehicle to his father. The father was advised that a curfew Charge and possible Contributing Charge would be filed.
10/10/2016	6:49 PM	Failure to Pay	West Main St.	Officer was dispatched to the listed location in reference to a failure to pay. Dispatch advised a green Chevrolet SUV got twelve dollars worth of gas and did not pay. Dispatch made contact with the driver, who advised she thought her card went through, and would meet at the location. Upon arrival the driver apologized and paid the amount owed. 10/10/2016	1:22 AM	Suspicious Circumstances	Gay St.	Officer was on patrol and observed the interior light on the inside of a silver Acura parked in front of the listed location. Officer made contact with the vehicle owner and advised her about the light. She thanked the Officer then turned off the light.
10/11/2016	7:19 PM	Parking Complaint	West Main St.	Officer observed a white Lexus RX450 parked in front of the listed location. The vehicle was not in a marked parking spot and was in front of a painted yellow curb. The driver was issued a Parking Infraction.
10/11/2016	8:19 PM	Traffic Stop	West Main St.	Officer conducted a routine registration check on a green Chevy Malibu. Officer initiated a traffic stop and made contact with the driver/owner. Quentin Snodgres was issued a citation for No Ohio License, a Non Compliance Suspension and Failure to Reinstate.
10/12/2016	3:46 PM	Domestic Dispute	SR 161 E	Officers met with the complainant at the police department in reference to a domestic dispute. He advised us that he was driving into Plain City from his residence and he got into a verbal altercation in the vehicle with his mother. Officers were able to get both parties to agree to stay calm and the complainant also agreed to take his mother home. Officers determined everything to be fine.
10/12/2016	5:11 PM	Civil Dispute/Standby	Converse Ave.	Officers were dispatched to the listed location in reference to a civil standby. Upon arrival, Officers met with involved parties. The father picked up his son without any issues. Officers determined everything to be fine.
10/12/2016	8:49 PM	Animal Complaint - Other	North Ave.	Officers were dispatched to the listed location in reference to an animal complaint. The complainant stated that there was a canine inside a pickup. They further advised that the owner was going to leave the canine inside the truck overnight. Upon arrival, Officers observed a small brown canine inside a 2002 tan Chevrolet Silverado. The canine showed no signs of distress and it was cool outside. Officers made contact with the owner, and he advised that he would bring the canine inside for the night. Officers determined everything to be fine.	Darby Apartments
10/12/2016	9:24 PM	Drug Paraphernalia	West South St.	Officers observed a tan Chevrolet Astro parked at the listed location. Officer made contact with Anastasia Howard and two other individuals. Anastasia Howard was subsequently charged with three counts of Drug Paraphernalia.	Darby Apartments
10/13/2016	12:45 PM	Parking Complaint	South Jefferson Ave.	Officer met with the complainant at the Police Department in reference to a parking complaint. He advised that there are a couple of semi trailers that have been stored on a location he owns for quite some time, but they need to be moved because he is working on developing the property. Officer was able to make contact with the owner and he said he would contact the complainant about the trailers.
10/14/2016	7:34 PM	Animal Complaint - Other	Converse Dr.	Officer responded to the listed location in reference to an animal complaint. The caller stated that he witnessed his neighbor lift his dog and throw it back to the ground. Upon arrival Officer checked the dog but was unable to locate any injuries. The dog also had access to food and water. While speaking with the neighbors mother, he returned home and the Officer advised of the complaint. He stated that the only time he lifted the dog was when it was wrapped around the leash. Officer advised that due to the complaint and the dog not being registered a copy of the incident report will be forwarded to the Union County Dog Warden.
10/14/2016	2:35 PM	Bad Checks	West Main St.	Officer was at the listed location when advised of a bad check. An employee stated a check, in the amount of $37.82, was written on July 23rd, 2016 and came back as not sufficient funds. Upon closer inspection, we observed a male and female sit up abruptly from the back seat. Officers made contact with the juveniles’ parents and advised them of the incident. Officer made contact with the driver, who stated that she had a flat tire and pulled in the parking lot to wait for a ride. Upon arrival Officer observed a 2004 tan Honda Odyssey was legally parked in front of the residence. Officer made contact with the vehicle owner who advised they park it on Lantern Lane when there is no other available parking.

Upon arrival, Officer observed a large canine sitting on the front passenger seat of a red Chevrolet Traverse. The canine abruptly got up and showed no signs of distress. Officer determined everything to be fine. Officer checked a short time later and the vehicle was gone.

The caller stated that a male subject was sitting on the swing set talking to himself and periodically yelling out profanity. Upon arrival Officer made contact with the subject, who stated that he was talking to himself and did not realize anyone could hear him. 10/16/2016	3:27 AM	Curfew	Gay St.	Officer observed two subjects take off running west on Bigelow Avenue. Officer located one of the subjects hiding behind the garage. Officer transported the juvenile to his residence. Upon arrival at his residence, Officer made contact with the juvenile's father and advised he would receive notice for when the juvenile needed to appear in court for a curfew violation.
10/16/2016	10:41 AM	Criminal Damaging	Cooper Ln.	Officer was dispatched to the listed location in reference to a criminal damaging. Upon arrival Officer met with complainant. He advised that 3 juveniles stood in the street and threw eggs at his residence, striking the front porch area and a window about the garage. The complainant was able to wash the egg from the residence but wanted the police department to know about the incident.

She advised that she had recently discovered that her ATM card was missing and that someone had made two unauthorized transactions totaling approximately $180. A case is pending more information on this matter.
