911 hang up. Dispatch advised that they could hear a small child that
appeared to be playing with the phone. Upon arrival Officer made contact with
the owner of the phone. She advised that she was babysitting her nephew and
found him playing with the phone. Officer determined everything was okay.

hang up call. Dispatch advised that the phone was a 911 only phone and could
not be called back. Officer patrolled the area and made contact with several
residents, but no one knew who had called or why.

Officer was dispatched to listed location on the report of a
non-injury hit-skip crash. Upon arrival, Officer met with the driver of a
black Chevy Silverado. He advised that a pickup truck pulling a grain head
for a combine stopped at the stop sign, the truck backed up and struck his
truck causing damage to the hood. He described the truck as a red, possibly
Ford pulling a large John Deere grain head. Officer completed a crash report
that he could use to report to his insurance company.

Officer met with the Parks and Recreation Director. She advised
that there had been a tent setup near the horse barn for a couple of days but
she had not received a camping registration or fees. Officer then met with
the individuals at the tent. They advised that since they were no longer
staying with one of the individual 's mother they began camping at the park
with the assistance of DNA. Officer called DNA and told her that no
registration or fees had been received. She advised that she would take care
of it today and apologized for the inconvenience.

reference to a found cell phone. She advised that she located the phone next
to the listed location. The owner's father came to the police department and
picked it up. He entered the proper unlock code to verify ownership.

individual at the request of his sister in reference to a well being check or
a possible theft complaint. Upon arrival Officer made contact with the
individual at the listed location. He stated that someone had taken items
that were stored back in his residence. He had not seen the items since he
last used them approximately 2 ½ years earlier and was unsure who could have
taken the items. He thanked the Officer for his time.

domestic dispute. Upon arrival Officer made contact with the individual. He
stated that he had been in a verbal dispute with his father. Both parties
agreed to remain calm and separate for the rest of the night.

Officer met with an individual at the police department. She
advised that she was involved in an accident at the listed location yesterday
and she wanted to document it for insurance purposes. She advised that she
was backing her Chrysler Town and Country out of a parking spot and struck a
red GMC pickup on the rear driver's side while it was parked. The owner of
the pickup was notified and the incident documented.

Officer was dispatched to the Marathon on the report of a theft.
Dispatch advised that a witness followed the suspect to where the suspect
entered a barn at the rear of the property. Officers went to the location and
made contact with the suspect, Anthony M. Hopkins. He eventually admitted to
stealing Dutch Master Cigarillos. Officer placed Anthony M. Hopkins under
arrest and transported him to the police department where he was issued a
summons for the theft.

unknown. Upon arrival Officer made contact with caller. She stated that her 1
year old had accidently dialed 911. Officer determined everything checked

Officer observed two vehicles parked on the lot of the listed
location. Upon closer inspection, Officer observed two subjects
sleeping in the grey Toyota. Officer made contact with the juveniles. After
investigation both juveniles were detained and placed in the rear of
Officers' vehicles until their parents, who arrived a short time later to
take their children home. One juvenile was subsequently charged with Minor's
Curfew, Drug Paraphernalia and Possession of Drugs. The second juvenile will
subsequently be charged with Curfew and Possession of Drugs.

Officer responded to the roadway in front of the listed location
in reference to a non injury accident. Upon arrival Officer spoke with the
caller. He advised he was traveling northbound on the listed avenue when he
engaged his brakes, they did not activate properly causing him to veer into
the southbound lane and strike the curb in front of the listed location.
Rhyan Ash was issued a citation for Driving an Unsafe Vehicle and Reasonable
Control.

Madison County Sheriff’s Office in reference to a possible fight. Upon

closed business. Upon checking the vehicle, observed it to be occupied. Upon
speaking with the individual, the male advised that he and his father had
argued earlier and he was hanging out up town waiting on his father to go to
work to avoid any further arguing tonight. Officer advised it was not a good
idea to hang out on the lot of a closed business. The male apologized and
advised he was just getting ready to head home now. Officer determined
everything to check okay.

suspicious vehicle and person parked in the lot of the listed location. Upon
arrival Officer spoke with the female who advised she was there to use the
resident's Wi-Fi. The resident confirmed that permission was given to use her
Wi-Fi.
