4/10/2017	7:08 PM	Animal Complaint - Other	Coachman Dr.	Officer was met at the Police Department by a resident in reference to his dog getting out of his back yard and the neighbor’s dog appeared to pounce at his dog in an aggressive manner. Neither dog appeared to have any injuries and the resident was given a verbal warning for dog at large.

Officer spoke with the caller who advised that a girl had thrown a rock that hit her child. There was no visible injury. The caller stated the children to have no further contact with her child and to not come onto the property. Officers spoke with children and their parents and advised of the complaint and to have no further contact with the caller's children and to not throw stones.

Officer located the vehicle and initiated a traffic stop. After investigation, the driver was not found impaired but was given a warning.

Upon arrival Officer met with the resident, who was visibly upset. Officer spoke with the resident until he calmed down and advised the resident to contact the Police Department in the future.

After investigation, Officer advised that they needed to park their car legally. They apologized and left the area without further incident.

Dispatch advised that a number called 911, but abruptly hung up. Officer patrolled the area and made contact with the caller, who was asleep inside his vehicle. Upon arrival Officer made contact with the caller, then spoke to the caller's sons who agreed to listen to their mother. Officer advised the caller of the necessary steps to pursue with unruly charges.
4/16/2017	11:47 PM	Non-Injury Hitskip	Weathervane Way	Officer responded to the listed location in reference to a hit and skip crash. Upon arrival Officer made contact with the vehicle’s owner. He stated that he heard a loud noise outside his residence. When he went outside he observed that someone had struck his black Camaro. After investigation, Charles Stocksdale was cited for Leaving the Scene and Improper backing.

Officer made contact with the occupants, who advised that they had pulled back there to talk. Officer advised that the school was closed and they were not permitted on the premises. Officer spoke with the property worker, who advised that the tenant was evicted and took several items. Officer advised that after having gathered information from all parties the issue would need to be handled as a civil proceeding.
4/16/2017	9:23 PM	Missing Juvenile	Jackson St.	Officer responded to the listed address on a missing juvenile and her 6 month old child. Officer spoke with the juvenile's mother. She advised that she had last spoken with her daughter earlier that today but did not have the daughter's phone number. Officers were unable to locate the juvenile.

Upon arrival, Officer spoke with both mother and juvenile and advised the juvenile to respect his mother, and obey her household rules. Both parties agreed to get along and agreed to have minimal contact for the rest of the night giving the incident time to diffuse.

Upon arrival, Officer observed a green Ford 150 with the engine running and made contact with the vehicle owner. He advised he had just gotten back from a road trip and forgot to shut the vehicle off after unpacking.

Upon arrival, Officer met with the complainant who advised that a visitor urinated on the wall beside the front door. Officer met with the suspect and explained that his actions would not be tolerated and advised of the consequences if he were to do this again.

She advised when the subject realized that she was speaking with the Police he left. Officer advised on assistance with getting the property back and also advise him not to contact her or come to her residence in the future.

Officers spoke with the juvenile about her behavior. Officers reminded her that her grandfather was her guardian and that her behavior was unacceptable. The grandfather was advised of the steps to file unruly charges.

Upon arrival Officer observed the subject conversing with an electrical box. After determining that the subject was not mentally coherent, Officer contacted her son who came out and advised he would transport her to the hospital.

The complainant advised that she has noticed some of her children’s clothes come up missing when one of the daughter's friends comes over. Officer spoke with daughter's friend and her grandfather about her possibly taking items and advised both that the complainant no longer wants the daughter's friend to hang around her children.

Officer spoke with the juvenile, who denied making the allegation, about making allegations against others and the importance of being truthful.
4/5/2017	9:29 PM	Road Hazard	West Ave.	Officer was dispatched to the listed area in reference to a stop sign that had fallen over. Upon arrival Officer located the stop sign and was able to stand it back up, as well as several orange barrels in the roadway caused by the high winds.

Upon arrival Officer made contact with the male who stated that his vehicle had run out of gas. Officer transported the male to his residence. He stated that he would retrieve the vehicle the following day. Officer checked the vehicle to confirm it was not a road hazard.

Upon arrival, along with Pleasant Valley Fire Station 261, the wires were determined to be a cable line. The lines were removed from the roadway, and the cable provider was informed.

Upon arrival Officer spoke with the caller who advised a juvenile had crossed the roadway and almost got struck by a vehicle. The caller could not advise where the juvenile went or where the juvenile lived. Officer patrolled the area but was unable to locate any juveniles matching the description.
4/9/2017	6:52 PM	Driving Complaint	Gay St.	Officer received a direct complaint. The complainant advised that a man was riding an ATV in an alleyway. Officer made contact with the subject gave a verbal warning for the violation of the village ordinance 375.04; permitted operation of snowmobiles, off-highway motorcycles and all purpose vehicles. The subject apologized for any inconveniences he may have caused.

While responding, Officer observed a dark colored SUV traveling at a high rate of speed. Officer initiated a traffic stop with the brown Nissan with an Officer as backup. Upon further investigation, Britton Steiginga was placed into custody for OVI, Speeding, Reckless Operation of a Motor Vehicle, Possession of a Controlled Substance and Drug Paraphernalia.
