2/13/2017	1:19 AM	Theft - Misdemeanor	North Ave.	Officer was dispatched to the listed location in reference to a theft complaint. Upon arrival, Officer spoke with the caller. She advised there was a bottle of prescription cough syrup on her kitchen table that came up missing sometime tonight. She advised she did not know who had taken the medication but she wanted the incident documented.
2/13/2017	9:03 AM	Unruly	Harrington Dr.	Officer responded to the listed location in reference to an unruly juvenile who was refusing to go to school. Upon arrival, Officer spoke with the juvenile, then transported him to school and walked him into the office.
2/13/2017	10:18 AM	Suspicious Circumstances	North Mechanic St.	Officer was met on station by a resident. She advised that she received a call from a salesman. She advised that the man was selling security systems and was going to be in the Plain City area in the future. He proceeded to ask her several questions about her house. In the middle of these questions he asked, "Can you hear me now?" She replied, "yes" and then remembered hearing about such a scam. She disconnected from the call. She wanted the Police Department to be aware of the incident. Officer advised her to contact her credit card company so that they could be on the lookout for fraud and to carefully review her credit card statements for fraudulent charges and that she could also contact the Ohio Attorney General's Office about the matter.
2/13/2017	4:31 PM	Suspicious Circumstances	Central Ave.	Officer was met on station by two individuals. Both advised that they wanted to report a suspicious person that had approached them at their residence. He advised that as he was pulling into his driveway a female approached him stating that she needed a ride to her dad's house. The passenger advised that they would contact an Uber driver to take her. After returning outside to speak to the female, they discovered that she was gone. Officer contacted the female via phone and spoke to her about the incident. She admitted asking for a ride. Officer advised not to contact two individuals or to be on their property in the future.
2/13/2017	12:07 AM	Domestic Dispute	North Ave.	Officer was dispatched to the listed location in reference to a domestic dispute. Upon arrival, Officer spoke with both parties and they agreed to sleep in separate rooms for the night.
2/14/2017	8:00 AM	Unruly	Harrington Dr.	Officer responded to the listed location in reference to an unruly juvenile who was refusing to go to school. Upon arrival, Officer spoke with the juvenile and then transported him to school and walked him into the office.
2/14/2017	12:10 PM	Miscellaneous - Unclassified	South Chillicothe St.	Officer received a phone call from the owner of the listed property. He advised that his tenants called to tell him that the neighbor has been harassing them continuously. Officer told the property owner to have the tenants contact the police department if they're being harassed and the department will address it accordingly.
2/14/2017	9:26 PM	Loud Noise/Disturbance	Carriage Dr.	Officer received an anonymous complaint of a possible domestic violence incident at the listed location. The complainant stated that they heard a juvenile female scream at the top of her lungs, "stop hurting me". They knocked on the door, but were unable to get an answer. Upon arrival, Officer met with the residents and learned that the girls were arguing. Officer spoke with the girls about their actions. Officer determined everything to be fine.
2/15/2017	11:03 AM	Neighbor Dispute	Central Ave.	Officer was dispatched to the listed location in reference to a dispute. Upon arrival Officers met with both parties and they both were warned in reference to disorderly conduct.
2/16/2017	11:17 PM	Drunk Driver	US Rt. 42 N	Officer initiated a traffic stop on a blue 2007 Chevy Impala for a speeding violation that occurred near the listed location. Upon further investigation, Samuel D. Denero was subsequently charged with Speeding, Operating Vehicle while Intoxicated and OVI Concentration, Drug Paraphernalia, Possession of Drugs and Offenses Involving Underage Persons.
2/16/2017	1:36 PM	Juvenile	Central Ave.	Officer was dispatched to the listed location to meet with the resident. Officer spoke with her son about the possible consequences of a minor getting a tattoo from a non professional tattooist and obeying his mother. Officers met with the tattooist at his residence and advised to cease all contact with the juvenile and not to be giving out homemade tattoos to anyone or could face possible consequences.
2/16/2017	5:15 PM	Parking Complaint	East Main St.	Officers were dispatched to the listed location in reference to a parking complaint. Upon arrival, Officers met with vehicle owner, who advised that she was in the process of moving her 2000 Ford SUV. She advised that she was going to the business and didn't realize that was not their parking. She thanked the Officers.
2/16/2017	6:20 PM	Parking Complaint	Gay St.	Officers observed a blue Honda parked in front of a yellow painted curb and also partially blocking the crosswalk. Officers made contact with the vehicle owner. She apologized and moved the vehicle without incident.
2/16/2017	8:44 PM	Suspicious Person	North Chillicothe St.	Officers were dispatched to the listed address in response a suspicious person entering callers back yard. Officers began patrolling the area searching for the male. While patrolling, Officers responded to assist another Officer who discovered multiple vehicles and several juveniles. After talking to the group they stated that they were playing a game. Upon further questioning a juvenile, who matched the given description, admitted to crossing through the backyard of the caller. All parties were advised to exercise caution when playing the game and not to cross into other people’s property. Officers advised the caller that the group was cautioned and that her suspicious person was part of that group. Without further incident Officers returned to patrol.
2/17/2017	2:07 PM	911 Follow-up	Maple St.	Officer responded to the listed location in reference to a 911 follow up. Upon arrival Officer spoke with an individual who advised he had accidently dialed 911 when attempting to call 411. Officer deemed everything fine.
2/17/2017	2:40 PM	Miscellaneous - Unclassified	South Chillicothe St.	Officer was contacted via telephone by the resident. He stated one of his neighbors is out of town for an extended period of time, and is watching the house while they are gone. He advised of a security concern. Officer made contact with the home owner via telephone in reference to the concern.
2/17/2017	3:02 PM	Marijuana	South Jefferson Ave.	Officer was dispatched to the listed location in reference to a male possibly smoking marijuana inside of a vehicle. Upon arrival Officer located a red Ford truck sitting at the listed location. Upon making contact with the driver and further investigation Steve Boyer was cited for Possession of a Controlled Substance.	McDonald's

2/17/2017	4:28 PM	Non-Injury Crash/Private	West Main St.	Officer was dispatched to the listed location in reference to a non-injury private property crash. Upon arrival Officer spoke with the driver, who advised she was pulling away from a gas pump at the listed location, when she struck a metal poll on the back driver side of her red 2009 Honda. 2/17/2017	7:41 PM	Theft - Misdemeanor	North Ave.	Officers were dispatched to the listed in reference to a theft complaint. Upon arrival, Officers met with the resident. He stated that a package was to arrive but he never received it. Officers advised the resident to contact the police department with any updated information on the theft and the Officers would follow up with FedEx. After gathering all available information Officers returned to patrol.
2/17/2017	1:16 PM	Unruly	West Ave.	Officers received a direct complaint from the resident in reference to an unruly child. Upon arrival Officer met with the resident and her grandson. She advised that her grandson would not listen to her and was acting up. After conversation with the grandson he advised he would behave better and listen to his grandmother.
2/18/2017	4:29 PM	Assist Other Agency	Plain City-Georgesville Rd.	Officer was requested by the Madison County Sheriff’s Office to respond to the listed location in reference to a possible overdose. Upon arrival medic 261 spoke to the juvenile who advised she was fine. Madison County Deputy arrived and advised Officer's assistance was no longer needed.
2/18/2017	5:20 PM	CIT Incident	Doe St.	Officer responded to the listed location in reference to a behavior health change. Upon arrival medic 261 and Officer spoke with the resident. He advised the medical team that he had seen a bear eating snacks in his bedroom. He was transported to the hospital by medic 261.
2/19/2017	10:54 AM	Fire Support	Maple Ct.	Officer was dispatched to the listed location in reference to a possible structure fire. Upon arrival, the Pleasant Valley Fire Department was already on scene, and there was not an active fire. Officer then learned the resident was smoking a cigarette last night, and placed it into a coffee can outside on her front porch. Soon after, a neighbor noticed smoke and flames coming from the siding. She alerted the resident and the fire was put out with an extinguisher. The apartment owner was advised and soon arrived on scene.

2/19/2017	1:49 AM	Drunk Driver	West Main St.	Officer observed a silver Volkswagen cross the double yellow line in the left turn lane. Officer initiated a traffic stop with the vehicle. Collin Conley was subsequently issued a citation for Operating Vehicle while Intoxicated and Marked Lanes.
2/19/2017	10:26 AM	Recovered/Found Property	North Ave.	Officer was dispatched to the listed location in reference to a recovered property. Upon arrival Officer made contact with the caller. She advised she located a piece of paper. Officer then called the paper owner who advised he would come to the police department and pick the paper up so he could destroy it himself.

2/6/2017	4:18 PM	Threatened Suicide	West Main St.	Union County Juvenile Probation Officer and Officer went to the listed location in reference to suicide threat. Officers made contact with the juvenile. She was voluntarily transported to the hospital by Medic 261.
2/6/2017	7:21 PM	Driving Complaint	South Jefferson Ave.	Officer was dispatched in the area of the listed location in reference to a driving complaint. Upon arrival Officer observed a black Ford Mustang that was at a complete stop. Officer made contact with the owner/driver, who was going in and out of consciousness and couldn’t answer any questions. Officer requested a Medic. After the driver was checked medics, Officer advised her to check her sugar levels before she operates a motor vehicle. A valid driver drove her home.
2/6/2017	9:53 AM	Harassment/Menacing	Madison Ave.	Officer received a report from a resident about two individuals harassing her and making obscene finger gestures toward her and her husband. Officer met with the individuals and informed them of the complaint. Officer suggested that they avoid going near the complainant's residence to avoid future confrontations. They advised that they understood.
2/7/2017	4:45 AM	Assist Other Agency	West South St.	Officer responded to the listed location at the request of the Madison County Sheriff’s Office in reference to a missing juvenile. The juvenile had been reported as missing/runaway from his residence in Madison County. Upon arrival Officer made contact with the juvenile's mother. She stated that she did not know where he was and that she was unaware he was missing. Officer forwarded this information to Madison County and returned to patrol.
2/7/2017	3:05 PM	Fire Support	Gay St.	Officer was requested by Station 261 to assist at the listed location in reference to a medical issue. Upon arrival, Officer met with medics who were assisting the resident with an apparent leg injury.
2/7/2017	5:35 PM	Threatened Suicide	Courtland St.	Officer was contacted via phone. The caller advised that she had seen where a friend had made a Facebook post and advised that he was going to end his life. She was concerned but did not know how to check on him as he lives in the Cleveland area. Officer was able to locate an address for the individual and contacted the Lake County Central Dispatch Center. Officer provided them with the caller's contact information in case further follow up was needed and also contacted the caller to advise her of the findings.
2/8/2017	4:12 PM	Threatened Suicide	Fairfield Dr.	Officer was dispatched to the listed location in reference to suicide threats. Dispatch advised that Medic 261 had been dispatched to this address because the resident had called 911 saying that she wanted to hurt herself. Upon arrival Officer met with the resident then stood by until Medic 261 arrived. She was then transported to the hospital at her request.
2/8/2017	7:59 PM	Warrant - Misdemeanor	Gray St.	Officer was on patrol and conducted a routine registration check on a 1999 gold Mazda truck. Officer initiated a traffic stop. Upon making contact with the driver, Ronald T. Meddles, Officer learned he had an active warrant out of Delaware County for Failure to Appear. Ronald T. Meddles was placed under arrest without incident and was issued a citation for Non Compliance, No Operator's License and Failure to Transfer Registration.
2/9/2017	4:51 PM	Well-being Check	South Jefferson Ave.	Officer was dispatched to the listed location to check the welfare of a truck driver there. Upon arrival Officer made contact with the driver. Officer advised him of the caller's concern and he stated he had parked here yesterday, but then left to make a delivery. He had returned in the evening and stayed overnight waiting to do a pick up nearby.	First Flight Auto
2/9/2017	1:30 PM	Juvenile	West Main St.	Officer received a referral from Union County Department of Jobs and Family Services in reference to an incident. A case is pending determination of jurisdiction.
2/9/2017	2:54 PM	Miscellaneous - Unclassified	West Main St.	Officer was dispatched to the listed address in reference to a road sign that was laying in the grass. Officer retrieved the sign and advised the street department.
2/9/2017	3:50 PM	Parking Complaint	West Bigelow Ave.	Officer was advised of two vehicles that were parked at the listed location, blocking the sidewalk. Upon arrival, Officer observed a blue Ford F350 and a silver Ford Focus that were both partially blocking the sidewalk. 2/9/2017	7:53 PM	Juvenile	East Main St.	Officers were requested by the resident to come to the listed address in order to talk with her grandson about software he had downloaded.  Officers spoke to the grandson about not downloading without adult permission.
2/9/2017	2:59 PM	Failure to Pay	West Main St.	Officer was dispatched to the listed location in reference to a drive off. Upon arrival Officer met with an employee. She advised that a man in a black truck had pumped $39 in gas. She advised that he walked into the store and made another purchase, but did not pay for the gas. Officer located the vehicle owner and advised of the incident. Officer contacted the business owner and advised him of the findings. 2/10/2017	12:00 AM	Miscellaneous - Unclassified	South Jefferson Ave.	Officer was flagged down by an employee to the listed location. She stated while taking out the trash she noticed a syringe in one of the trash bags. Officer collected the syringe, advised her to contact us with any other concerns and disposed of the syringe properly.	Shell Station / Subway
2/10/2017	1:15 PM	Assist Other Agency	North Ave.	Officer assisted the Madison County Sheriff's Office in serving an arrest warrant at the listed location. Gary Zornes was arrested for a warrant on an indictment without incident. Once assistance was no longer necessary, Officers returned to patrol.
2/10/2017	4:44 PM	Bad Checks	West Main St.	Officer met with the owner of the listed location in reference to a bad check. Upon speaking with the owner, Officer learned a check, on 1-15-2017 for $57.00, was returned to due the account being closed.	Jan & Tony's Pizza / Rex Express
2/10/2017	5:51 PM	Driving Complaint	West Bigelow Ave.	Officer was dispatched to the area in reference to a driving complaint. Dispatch advised a red Cadillac was swerving all over the roadway. Officer was able to locate the vehicle and made contact with the driver who was not impaired and stated he was not distracted or swerving. The driver was given a warning.
2/10/2017	9:19 PM	Assist Other Agency	SR 736	Officers were dispatched to the listed area in reference to a possible injury accident involving an SUV that ran off the road and got stuck in a ditch. Officers found the Nissan Pathfinder and learned that the driver was operating the vehicle and was subsequently placed into custody for Operating Vehicle while Intoxicated by Ohio State Highway Patrol Post 80. Officers stood by until no longer needed.
2/11/2017	1:44 AM	Animal Complaint - Other	John St.	Officers while on patrol observed a black dog. Officers made contact with the pet owner and she confirmed that the dog belonged to her. The dog was returned to its owner without incident.
2/12/2017	7:59 PM	Road Hazard	Noteman Rd.	Officers discovered a road hazard and downed power lines and contacted Station 261. They came and advised they were indeed power lines and assisted in clearing the roadway of the tree that had fallen due to high winds.
2/12/2017	1:59 AM	Miscellaneous - Unclassified	West Main St.	Officers were dispatched to the listed area in order to speak with an individual. He was requesting transportation to his home. After patrolling the area Officers were unable to locate him and returned to patrol. 2/12/2017	2:43 AM	DOC	West Main St.	Officer observed a male subject laying in the middle of the roadway and a vehicle nearly strike the subject before swerving to avoid him. The subject was visibly intoxicated. Jeremy Goff was subsequently placed into custody for Persistent Disorderly Conduct and transported to Tri-County Jail where he was released into their custody.
2/12/2017	4:32 AM	Suspicious Vehicle	Carriage Dr.	Officer observed a maroon Dodge Caravan parked in the driveway of the listed location. Due to the vehicle not being listed on the approved parties Officer had dispatch make contact with the homeowners. They stated that the vehicle had permission to be on the property. Officer then returned to patrol.
2/12/2017	12:58 PM	Animal Complaint - Other	West Main St.	Officer was dispatched to the listed area in reference to a stray canine. Dispatch advised a small black canine was loose walking through yards. Upon arrival Officer searched the area but could not locate the canine.
