Officer responded on a complaint of loud music coming from The Grainery. Officer patrolled the area and determined that the music was excessive. Contact was made with the business owner, who was advised of the violation and was advised to turn the music down. Subsequently, Timothy Dawson, 58, of Marysville, was issued a citation for Excessive Noise.

Drunk Driver

A traffic stop was initiated on a vehicle driving on a closed road. Upon making contact with the driver, the officer could detect an odor of alcohol and observed an open beer can in the center console. After further investigation, Andrew Cook, 37, of Dublin was arrested for OVI. Andrew submitted to a BAC test, which resulted in .248% BAC. Andrew was issued citations for Driving Upon Street Posted or Closed for Repair, OVI, OVI-Super Concentration and Open Container.  He was later released to a family member.

Officers responded on a complaint of possible vandalism. Officers observed a privacy fence that had been damaged. The area was searched but no one was located. The investigation is ongoing.

Drunk Driver

A traffic stop was initiated on a Yamaha ATV driving on a closed road. Upon making contact with the driver, the officer could detect a strong odor of alcohol coming from the driver. After further investigation, Ryan McDermott, 42, of Plain City, was arrested for OVI. He refused to submit to a breath test. Ryan was issued citations for Driving on Closed Roadways, OVI, Operating the ATV on the roadway and open container. He was later released to a friend. The ATV was towed to the Impound Lot.

Officer initiated a traffic stop on a vehicle with expired registration and for driving on a closed road. Subsequently, Brandon Bates, 26, of Dublin, was issued citations for Driving on a Closed Road and Expired Tags. The vehicle was impounded to the Impound Lot. Brandon was given a ride to his residence.
