Upon arrival Officers met with caller who advised that his wallet was missing. He returned to the listed location and spoke to the manager, who advised that an employee had found his wallet. The caller advised that when he checked his wallet, approximately $60 was missing. Officer viewed surveillance video but was not able to make out his wallet or detect any suspicious activity in the area during those times.	McDonald's

11/22/2016	11:52 AM	Marijuana	South Jefferson Ave.	Officer conducted a routine registration check and learned that Joshua Maynard, the registered owner of a 2005 Chevy Colorado, was under multiple open suspensions. Officer initiated a stop and made contact with Joshua Maynard who was issued a citation for Driving Under Suspension and Failure to Reinstate. Joshua Maynard is also being charged with Possession of Marijuana and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.
11/22/2016	6:55 PM	Animal Complaint - Other	Maple St.	Officer was flagged down by a passerby on West Avenue and was advised that there was a dog tied to a telephone pole in front of the listed location and no one was around. Upon arrival, Officer located dog owner standing outside of her residence. A few minutes later, Officer arrived at Plain City Animal Hospital and spoke with several employees who advised that someone just dropped off the dog in question, with its tie-out. The dog owner arrived and picked it up. She thanked the Officer for assisting her in locating the dog. Officer determined everything to be fine.	Agape Church
11/22/2016	10:48 PM	Telecom Harassment	Smucker Ln.	Officer was dispatched to the listed location in reference to a telecom harassment. Upon arrival Officer made contact with the caller, who stated she is being contact by her niece. Officer then contacted the niece who stated she has not been calling. The niece was advised of the possible consequences if she were to call. Officer then relayed this information to caller.
11/23/2016	2:00 AM	Suspicious Person/Vehicle	South Jefferson Ave.	Officer was on patrol and observed a suspicious red 2000 Oldsmobile sitting at the listed location. Upon making contact with the driver, Officer learned she got into an argument with her boyfriend and was sitting at the location while she calmed down. Officer determined everything to be fine. 11/23/2016	11:40 AM	Miscellaneous - Unclassified	North Chillicothe St.	Officer observed an orange Mitsubishi Eclipse traveling northbound. Officer recognized the vehicle as one that had been reported as stolen through Columbus Police. Officer initiated a traffic stop with the vehicle.  After further investigation another detective had advised to remove the vehicle as a stolen vehicle due to the title being transferred in July. Officer explained everything to the driver and released the vehicle back to him. Officer determined everything to be fine.
11/23/2016	5:55 PM	Theft - Misdemeanor	North Ave.	Officers were dispatched to the listed location in reference to a theft that had occurred. Officer spoke with the caller who stated his girlfriend, had taken a knife from him and gave it to another individual. Once the individual was advised that the knife was the caller's knife, he returned it prior to Officers arrival. Officers determined everything was okay.
11/23/2016	6:48 PM	Assist Other Agency	Fairfield Dr.	Officer went to the listed location to assist Union County Sheriff's Deputy with a telecom harassment complaint. Deputy spoke with the individual and advised her that she needed to stop bothering the complainant.
11/23/2016	6:57 PM	Unruly	Central Ave.	Officers were dispatched to the listed location in reference to an unruly juvenile complaint. Officers spoke with the involved parties. The father stated that he was upset about the juvenile not following the rules. Officers spoke with the juvenile and advised him that he needed to follow his parents rules while living with them. Once all parties were calm, Officers returned to patrol.
11/23/2016	9:56 PM	Domestic Dispute	North Ave.	Officers responded to the listed location in reference to a domestic dispute. Upon arrival Officers made contact with the caller who stated that her ex boyfriend would not allow her into the residence. Officers explained the eviction process to the ex boyfriend. After both parties agreed to remain calm Officers returned to patrol.
11/24/2016	8:01 PM	Suspicious Vehicle	Village Blvd.	Officers were conducting routine patrol and discovered a vehicle with an open hatch at the listed location. Officers advised the owner and determined everything was okay.
11/24/2016	1:04 AM	Suspicious Circumstances	East First Ave.	Officers responded to the listed location in reference to suspicious circumstances. The caller stated that their neighbor’s car door had been standing open for some time. Upon arrival Officer made contact with the neighbor and she checked the vehicle and found nothing missing.
11/24/2016	2:40 AM	Assist Other Agency	SR 161 E	Officer observed a Honda Accord traveling eastbound at a high rate of speed. Officer followed the vehicle for a short distance and observed several marked lane violations. Per the request of Union County Sheriff’s Office, Officer followed the vehicle until a Deputy could initiate a traffic stop with the vehicle.
11/24/2016	7:01 PM	Theft/Identity	Foster St.	Officers were dispatched to the listed location in reference to an identity theft. Officers met with the caller who stated that her Facebook account was hacked due to her giving out her information to receive money. Officers advised of the steps to secure her Facebook account.

11/25/2016	3:34 AM	Suspicious Person/Vehicle	South Jefferson Ave.	Officer observed a SUV parked at the listed location's ATM for over 15 Minutes. Officer made contact with the vehicle a black Acura RDX and spoke with the registered owner. She advised that she could not get her ATM card to work because she had forgotten her PIN number and she was waiting for her mother to call her back. Officer deemed everything to be fine. 11/25/2016	5:59 PM	Littering	South Chillicothe St.	Officers were dispatched to the listed location in reference to a littering complaint. The caller stated that his neighbor’s young son has been throwing trash in his yard and that it’s an ongoing issue. Officers met with the neighbors at their residence. The son denied throwing anything into any of his neighbor’s yards. They were advised them of the complaint and warned of the possible consequences if his actions were to continue. They stated that they understood.

11/25/2016	8:15 PM	Criminal Damaging	East Main St.	Officers were advised of a group of juveniles near the listed location. The caller stated that they believed they were greasing car door handles. 11/25/2016	11:34 PM	Drug Paraphernalia	South Jefferson Ave.	Officer initiated a traffic stop on a black 1987 Chrysler Fifth Avenue that was traveling southbound on the listed street, having prior knowledge the registered owner/driver of the vehicle Christopher Luis Castillo, did not have a valid operator’s license. Christopher L Castillo was placed under arrest for Drug Abuse Instruments and also cited for No Operator's License.

11/26/2016	4:20 PM	Driving Complaint	Plain City-Georgesville Rd.	Officer responded to the listed area in reference to a driving complaint. The caller stated that a red Jeep was traveling northbound on the listed road, and was all over the roadway. Officer located the vehicle and followed it to the listed location. Officer observed no violations during that time. Officer made contact with the driver, who stated that he had not consumed any alcohol and allowed Officer to check the vehicle.
11/26/2016	7:11 PM	Assist Other Agency	Friend St.	Officer was dispatched to the police department to assist Ohio State Highway Patrol with a breathalyzer test. Upon arrival, Officer met with Ohio State Highway Patrol Trooper and stood by while the Trooper conducted a BAC test. Once assistance was no longer needed, Officer returned to patrol. 11/26/2016	11:44 PM	Assist Other Agency	Currier Rd.	Officer was requested to assist the Union County Sheriff's Office on a suspicious vehicle complaint at the listed location. All Union County Sheriff's Office units were tied up on a priority call in Marysville. Upon arrival in the area, along with Union County Sheriff's Sergeant, were not able to locate the vehicle in question. After assistance was no longer needed, Officer returned to patrol.
11/27/2016	3:15 PM	Theft - Felony	Guy St.	Officer was met on station by an individual. He advised his debit card was missing. He also found that his ATM card was also missing. He believes that the cards were stolen from his wallet that was inside his truck at his residence. He notified his banks and cancelled both cards. Investigation pending.
11/27/2016	5:13 AM	Assist Other Agency	Rickard Rd.	Officer was requested to assist the Union County Sheriff's Office on a suspicious person complaint at the listed location. The caller advised dispatch that a man attempted to jump the fence leading into the storage sheds. Union County Sheriff's Sergeant and Officer patrolled the area but were unable to locate the suspect.	Darby Creek Storage

11/14/2016	9:10 PM	Voucher Issued	Village Blvd.	Officer was dispatched to Lovejoy's Market in reference to a suspicious male. Upon arrival Officer located the male sitting alongside the listed street. After speaking with the male, Officer learned he was homeless and was trying to walk to Pennsylvania. Officer transported the male to the Police Department and obtained a housing voucher. The male was also given a box lunch from St. Joseph Catholic Church, then transported to the American Inn.
11/14/2016	4:19 PM	Animal Complaint - Other	Murlay Dr.	Officer was flagged down by complainant. He advised that everyday there is a boy in the neighborhood that runs with a large black dog. He was concerned because the dog was never on a leash. Officer made contact with dog owner and advised him of the complaint. He advised that his son takes the dog for a run around the neighborhood but that the dog is trained and wears a shock collar. Officer advised that it was required that the dog be under control at all times and of the possible consequences if there were issues with the dog. Officer also reminded him to police any dog excrement from his dog when out in the neighborhood.
11/15/2016	12:12 AM	Traffic Stop	SR 161 E	Officer conducted a routine registration check on a ran Dodge Caravan. Officer then initiated a traffic.  Rose Mary Webb, was subsequently issued a citation for No Valid Operator’s License also In State Drug Suspension and charged criminally with Illegal Use or Possession of Marihuana Drug Paraphernalia.

11/15/2016	10:04 AM	Domestic Dispute	South Jefferson Ave.	Officer responded to the listed location on a domestic dispute. Upon arrival, Officer met with the complainant, who is an employee of the business. She advised that she and her husband followed her to the business and confronted her about their child because she did not go to preschool this morning. Officer told him that he needed to address visitation with their child through his attorney and through the courts. The male advised that he would leave and not bother the employee any further. 11/15/2016	10:15 AM	Recovered/Found Property	Shepper Ave.	An individual turned in a wallet that he found in front of his residence. Officer later made contact with the property owner and returned the wallet.
11/15/2016	1:47 PM	Animal Complaint - Other	West Main St.	Officer responded to the listed location on the report of a loose dog running in the area. Upon arrival, Officer met with employees who advised that they were concerned that the dog was going to run into the road and get struck by a car. Officer gave brief chase before the dog ran away. Officer was unable to locate the dog after that. The dog was medium sized and was white with black/brown spots.	Taylor Autobody

Upon arrival, Officer stood by while he and his father removed his property and dropped off a civil paper, the resident signed for the landlord. After the standby was complete and they left the scene, Officer returned to patrol.
11/16/2016	11:18 AM	Loud Noise/Disturbance	North Chillicothe St.	Officer was dispatched to the area of the swing sets at the north entrance of Pastime Park in reference to a man yelling. Upon arrival Officer met with subject who was swinging and singing and advised of the complaint. He apologized and advised that he did not know that he was singing that loud.	Pastime Park
11/16/2016	1:37 PM	Assist Other Agency	Dorvic Dr.	Officer assisted Union County Sheriff's Deputy in attempting to serve an arrest warrant at the listed location. Officers determined that the subject no longer lived at the address.
11/16/2016	6:31 PM	Parking Complaint	Gay St.	Officer conducted a routine registration check on a white Dodge Neon that was parked in front of the listed location. Registration returned to a black Kia.  Due to the registration issue and the vehicle being parked partially on the roadway, the vehicle was towed.

11/17/2016	8:25 AM	Well-being Check	South Chillicothe St.	Officer met with a juvenile at the listed location due to her being dropped off for school without knowing there was a two-hour delay due to the heavy fog. Upon speaking with the child and a teacher who arrived to work early, Officer and teacher were able to contact the child's grandmother, who came to pick her up. Officer made contact with the drivers of the vehicles, who advised that Jenna Campbell had pulled from the stop sign and drove into the side of the other driver. Jenna Campbell was issued a citation for Failure to Yield from a Stop Sign.
11/17/2016	5:56 PM	Injury Crash	South Jefferson Ave.	Officer was dispatched to the listed location in reference to an injury accident. Upon arrival, Officer observed three vehicles with damage. Upon arrival, Officer observed a copper Jeep on its driver's side in the front yard. Austin Reinhard was subsequently issued a citation for Failure to Control.
11/18/2016	10:15 AM	Animal Complaint - Other	West Main St.	Officer responded to the listed location on the report of two loose dogs behind the business. With assistance, Officers were able to capture both dogs and secure them in our kennel. The Union County Dog Warden was contacted and picked the dogs up a short while later.	Taylor Autobody

Officer attempted to make contact at the residence, but nobody answered the door. Officer called the daughter back. She said she would call back if she needed any further assistance.
11/18/2016	11:28 AM	Threatened Suicide	North Ave.	Officer responded to the listed location with backup on the report of suicide threats. Upon arrival, Officers made contact with the individual. She advised that she did not want to harm herself, but that she did want to talk with someone about her thoughts and depression. She agreed to go voluntarily with Medic 261 to the hospital to be evaluated.
11/18/2016	8:30 PM	Animal Complaint - Other	Lewis Cir.	Officers were advised of a loose dog found at the listed location. Officer then retrieved the dog and returned it to its owner at her residence. She was advised of the possible consequences if the dog continued to get loose. She thanked the Officers for their time.
11/19/2016	3:37 PM	Unruly	Central Ave.	Officer was dispatched to the listed location in reference to an unruly juvenile. Upon arrival Officer made contact with the juvenile and his mother. Officer spoke with the juvenile, who advised he is having trouble controlling his anger. He agreed to listen to his mother and was advised of ways to control his anger. After all parties were calm, Officer determined everything to be fine.

Upon arrival Officer made contact with several residents in the area but no one had made the call. Officer checked the area but was unable to locate anything out of the ordinary.
11/20/2016	11:05 AM	Suspicious Person/Vehicle	East Main St.	Officer responded to the listed location in reference to a suspicious vehicle. The caller stated that a blue Dodge truck had been parked in the same spot for approximately 24 hours. Upon arrival Officer made contact with involved parties and with both juvenile's parents. Both stated that their daughters had permission to be at the location and that they had not been there overnight. Officer determined everything checked okay.
