Officer was dispatched to the listed location in reference to a theft. Upon arrival Officers met with caller who advised that his wallet was missing. He returned to the listed location and spoke to the manager, who advised that an employee had found his wallet. The caller advised that when he checked his wallet, approximately $60 was missing. Officer viewed surveillance video but was not able to make out his wallet or detect any suspicious activity in the area during those times.

Officer conducted a routine registration check and learned that Joshua Maynard, the registered owner of a 2005 Chevy Colorado, was under multiple open suspensions. Officer initiated a stop and made contact with Joshua Maynard who was issued a citation for Driving Under Suspension and Failure to Reinstate. Joshua Maynard is also being charged with Possession of Marijuana and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.

Officer was flagged down by a passerby on West Avenue and was advised that there was a dog tied to a telephone pole in front of the listed location and no one was around. Upon arrival, Officer located dog owner standing outside of her residence. A few minutes later, Officer arrived at Plain City Animal Hospital and spoke with several employees who advised that someone just dropped off the dog in question, with its tie-out. The dog owner arrived and picked it up. She thanked the Officer for assisting her in locating the dog. Officer determined everything to be fine.

Officer was dispatched to the listed location in reference to a telecom harassment. Upon arrival Officer made contact with the caller, who stated she is being contact by her niece. Officer then contacted the niece who stated she has not been calling. The niece was advised of the possible consequences if she were to call. Officer then relayed this information to caller.

Officer was on patrol and observed a suspicious red 2000 Oldsmobile sitting at the listed location. Upon making contact with the driver, Officer learned she got into an argument with her boyfriend and was sitting at the location while she calmed down. Officer determined everything to be fine.

Officer observed an orange Mitsubishi Eclipse traveling northbound. Officer recognized the vehicle as one that had been reported as stolen through Columbus Police. Officer initiated a traffic stop with the vehicle.  After further investigation another detective had advised to remove the vehicle as a stolen vehicle due to the title being transferred in July. Officer explained everything to the driver and released the vehicle back to him. Officer determined everything to be fine.

Officers were dispatched to the listed location in reference to a theft that had occurred. Officer spoke with the caller who stated his girlfriend, had taken a knife from him and gave it to another individual. Once the individual was advised that the knife was the caller's knife, he returned it prior to Officers arrival. Officers determined everything was okay.

Officer went to the listed location to assist Union County Sheriff's Deputy with a telecom harassment complaint. Deputy spoke with the individual and advised her that she needed to stop bothering the complainant.

Officers were dispatched to the listed location in reference to an unruly juvenile complaint. Officers spoke with the involved parties. The father stated that he was upset about the juvenile not following the rules. Officers spoke with the juvenile and advised him that he needed to follow his parents rules while living with them. Once all parties were calm, Officers returned to patrol.

Officers responded to the listed location in reference to a domestic dispute. Upon arrival Officers made contact with the caller who stated that her ex boyfriend would not allow her into the residence. Officers explained the eviction process to the ex boyfriend. After both parties agreed to remain calm Officers returned to patrol.

Officer observed a Honda Accord traveling eastbound at a high rate of speed. Officer followed the vehicle for a short distance and observed several marked lane violations. Per the request of Union County Sheriff’s Office, Officer followed the vehicle until a Deputy could initiate a traffic stop with the vehicle.

Officer observed a SUV parked at the listed location's ATM for over 15 Minutes. Officer made contact with the vehicle a black Acura RDX and spoke with the registered owner. She advised that she could not get her ATM card to work because she had forgotten her PIN number and she was waiting for her mother to call her back. Officer deemed everything to be fine.

Officers were dispatched to the listed location in reference to a littering complaint. The caller stated that his neighbor’s young son has been throwing trash in his yard and that it’s an ongoing issue. Officers met with the neighbors at their residence. The son denied throwing anything into any of his neighbor’s yards. They were advised them of the complaint and warned of the possible consequences if his actions were to continue. They stated that they understood.

Officer initiated a traffic stop on a black 1987 Chrysler Fifth Avenue that was traveling southbound on the listed street, having prior knowledge the registered owner/driver of the vehicle Christopher Luis Castillo, did not have a valid operator’s license. Christopher L Castillo was placed under arrest for Drug Abuse Instruments and also cited for No Operator's License.

Officer responded to the listed area in reference to a driving complaint. The caller stated that a red Jeep was traveling northbound on the listed road, and was all over the roadway. Officer located the vehicle and followed it to the listed location. Officer observed no violations during that time. Officer made contact with the driver, who stated that he had not consumed any alcohol and allowed Officer to check the vehicle.

Officer was dispatched to the police department to assist Ohio State Highway Patrol with a breathalyzer test. Upon arrival, Officer met with Ohio State Highway Patrol Trooper and stood by while the Trooper conducted a BAC test. Once assistance was no longer needed, Officer returned to patrol.

Officer was requested to assist the Union County Sheriff's Office on a suspicious vehicle complaint at the listed location. All Union County Sheriff's Office units were tied up on a priority call in Marysville. Upon arrival in the area, along with Union County Sheriff's Sergeant, were not able to locate the vehicle in question. After assistance was no longer needed, Officer returned to patrol.

Officer was met on station by an individual. He advised his debit card was missing. He also found that his ATM card was also missing. He believes that the cards were stolen from his wallet that was inside his truck at his residence. He notified his banks and cancelled both cards. Investigation pending.

Officer was requested to assist the Union County Sheriff's Office on a suspicious person complaint at the listed location. The caller advised dispatch that a man attempted to jump the fence leading into the storage sheds. Union County Sheriff's Sergeant and Officer patrolled the area but were unable to locate the suspect.
