Officer responded to the listed location in reference to an unruly juvenile complaint. Upon arrival, Officer made contact with the caller who stated that her daughter had left the residence while she was gone. Caller also stated that subject was on diversion through Madison County and that she had a mandated curfew of 2100 Hrs. Officer advised caller that subject’s curfew would always be 2100 Hrs due to her age. A short time later Officers were advised subject arrived back home.  Officers then met with subject at her residence. Subject was advised of the proper curfew hours and to listen to her mother. Due to subject being on a divergent program, this incident will be forwarded to the Madison Prosecutor's Office.

The caller stated that a male subject was going door to door in the area trying to sell alternative electricity accounts. Upon arrival, Officer checked the area but was unable to locate the suspect. Complainant was cleaning out the vacated apartment and found a bag of prescription pills belonging to another subject.  Officer took the bag and will attempt to contact the owner of the pills to determine why the pills were at that apartment. Officer then returned to patrol.

Officer conducted a routine registration check on a 2014 white Chevy Camaro.  Officer then learned that the registered owner, Destiny Mulkey, was a suspended driver.  Destiny was issued a citation for Non Compliance Suspension and No Valid OL. She was released on scene and her vehicle was towed to the PCPD Impound lot. Officer then returned to patrol.

Officer spoke with complainant at the entrance to Darby Fields Subdivision. Complainant advised last night someone went through his vehicle that was parked in his driveway.  Complainant provided Officer with a video of the people going through his car. See media for further.

Officer responded to the listed location in reference to vehicle damage from hitting a pothole. Upon arrival, Officer spoke to complainant who advised Officer she was driving her vehicle, a Ford Sedan, eastbound on East Main St. and struck a large pothole causing her tire to go flat. Officer checked the location and observed a large pothole in front of 275 East Main. Photographs of the vehicle and pothole were taken. Officer notified the Street Department of the pothole. Officer then returned to patrol.

Officer was flagged down at the listed location by complainant in reference to suspicious circumstances. Complainant stated that it appeared that the glove box of her red Honda had been gone through. Complainant stated that nothing appeared to be missing but that she wanted to report the incident. Complainant thanked Officer for Officer’s time and Officer returned to patrol.

Officer responded to the listed location in reference to a theft complaint. Upon arrival, Officer made contact with the caller.  Caller stated that two handguns had been taken from the vehicle. Caller stated that her husband was unavailable until after 1030 Hrs and that he would be able to provide further information on the stolen firearms. Caller thanked Officer for Officer’s time and Officer returned to patrol.  On 04/28/19 additional information regarding the stolen pistol’s serial number was received.  See media and case for additional information.

On the stated date and time, an anonymous caller stated an elderly couple was in a loud verbal argument at Richwood Bank. Officer then made contact with both subjects.  Officer asked male subject why they were arguing inside the bank.  Male subject advised Officer his wife suffers from Alzheimer’s and forgot who he was. Officer spoke with female subject who showed no signs of distress and did not recall the incident. After deeming everything fine, Officer returned to patrol.

Officer was dispatched to the listed location in reference to an overdue motorist. Upon arrival, Officer met with the caller. Caller advised Officer her estranged husband left with their daughter around 7pm and has not returned. Officer advised caller that Officer would keep an eye out for them however, Officer would not complete a missing person report at this time due to no known dangers for the child. Officer then returned to patrol.  At 0058 hours Officer observed that both subjects had returned home. Officer made contact with them at the residence and confirmed everything was okay.

Officer responded to the listed location in reference to a suspicious person/vehicle.  Upon arrival, Officer observed the vehicle,  a silver Toyota SUV.  Officer made contact with the vehicle driver who advised she was cleaning out her car while she was waiting to pick a friend up nearby.  After deeming everything fine, Officer returned to patrol.

Traffic Stop

Officer was on patrol when Officer observed a silver Cadillac Sedan traveling southbound on US 42 near North Chillicothe St. The vehicle appeared to be traveling over the posted speed limit which was verified by laser.  Officer initiated a traffic stop with the vehicle and made contact with the vehicle driver.  Officer had K9 Andor complete an open air search of the vehicle. K9 Andor gave positive alert to the front driver door. During a probable cause search of the vehicle Officer did not locate any measurable amount of narcotics.  Driver was given a verbal warning for speed. Officer then returned to patrol.

Officer met with complainant at the police department regarding a scam. Complainant was advised to report the issue to Facebook and also advised that his residence was not in Plain City jurisdiction, but the jurisdiction of the Madison County Sheriff's Office. Officer advised complainant Officer would document the report, but complainant would need to speak with MCSO for any further action.

Upon arrival, Officer met with complainant who advised that someone struck his vehicle while he was inside the restaurant. Complainant showed Officer there was minor damage on his front driver's bumper. Officer photographed the damage and told complainant Officer would try to identify a potential suspect by using available video. Complainant thanked Officer for Officer’s time and Officer returned to patrol.

Officer was requested to check the listed address for a yellow truck that was stolen from Athens. The alleged suspect had used this address as his residence. Upon arrival, Officer did not observe the truck and Officer made contact with the resident who advised that her daughter used to be friends with the suspect, but he had never lived there and hadn't been around there in at least 4 years. Resident had no idea where suspect was nor how to contact him. After determining everything to be fine, Officer returned to patrol.
