Officer was dispatched to the listed location in reference to a suspicious vehicle. Upon arrival, Officer observed a white Mercury sedan and made contact with driver.  After determining everything to be fine, Officer returned to patrol.

Officer responded to the listed location in reference to a suspicious person complaint. The caller stated that, 2 subjects were walking around the listed location pulling on different door handles. Officers advised both subjects of the consequences if they were found attempting to make entry into a closed business. Officer then returned to patrol.

Officer responded to the listed location at the request of the Union County Sheriff’s Office in reference to a vehicle search. Once assistance was no longer needed, Officer returned to patrol.

911 Follow-up

Smucker Ln.

Officer met with caller in reference to a 911 Follow-up. Caller advised that she called the police because she had received a call from an individual who was asking for money on behalf of the police department. Caller advised she did not provide any personal information, but wanted the police department to be aware.  Officer contacted the number that called and learned that the donations go toward a PAC (Political Action Committee) called "For a Better America." Representative could not provide a source for the call lists they use.

Disabled Vehicle

West Main St.

Officer was on patrol when I observed a 2008 grey Subaru sedan parked at the listed location. When making contact with the driver he advised that he ran out of gas and forgot his wallet at home. Subject was provided gas, via the police department gas can. Once subject was on his way, Officer returned to patrol.
