7/30/2014	7:11 PM	Juvenile Complaint	North Ave.	On the stated date and time, an officer responded to the listed location in reference to a juvenile shooting a bb gun. The juvenile and the parents were advised of the ordinance prohibiting the discharge of pellet or BB guns in village limits.

The vehicle came to a stop at Jefferson Avenue and West Main Street and the driver was taken into custody.
8/1/2014	2:15 PM	Theft - Misdemeanor	West Main St.	On the listed date and time an officer responded to the listed location in reference to a theft from a vehicle complaint. Miscellaneous items and a handicap placard was stolen. A report was taken.
8/1/2014	11:31 PM	Suspicious Circumstances	North Ave.	On the stated date and time, while on routine patrol, an officer observed the rear passenger side door open on a vehicle at the listed location. The officer made contact with the resident and advised them of the incident. The resident checked the vehicle and advised it was accidently left open.
8/2/2014	7:39 PM	Animal Complaint - Other	South Jefferson Ave.	On the stated date and time an officer responded to the listed location in reference to a dog locked in a vehicle. Upon arrival the officer observed that the vehicle in question had multiple windows down and the dog showed no signs of duress. The temperature at the time of call was 73 degrees. The officer checked back shortly and the vehicle was gone.
8/3/2014	7:15 PM	Recovered/Found Property	Friend St.	On the stated date and time an officer was met on station by a party who advised they found a wallet on West Bigelow Avenue in the middle of the road. The owner of the wallet was contacted and they retrieved their wallet.

8/5/2014	8:04 AM	911 Unknown	Harrington Dr.	On this date and time, an officer responded to the listed address on the report of a 911 unknown call that came in on cellular and mapped to this location. Upon arrival the officer checked the area and did not locate anything out of the ordinary.

8/6/2014	4:47 PM	Suspicious Person/Vehicle	Cooper Ln.	On the above date and time, an officer responded to the listed location in reference to a suspicious truck. Upon arrival it was determined to be a solicitor. They were advised how to obtain a permit to solicit.
8/7/2014	12:14 AM	Recovered/Found Property	Village Blvd.	On the stated date and time, an officer located a registration at the listed location that had fallen off a vehicle. The tag was returned to the owner.
8/7/2014	12:43 AM	Drunk Driver	East Main St.	On the stated date and time while on patrol an officer initiated a traffic stop with a vehicle at the listed location. Chaz L. Anderson, 29yoa of Columbus was subsequently arrested for Operating a vehicle under the influence OVI, 12 point suspension and No Operators License.
8/7/2014	3:21 PM	Neighbor Dispute	East Main St.	On the stated date and time, an officer responded to the listed location in regards to a neighbor dispute.
8/8/2014	9:20 AM	911 Unknown	Madison Ave.	On the above date and time, an officer responded to the area of the listed location in reference to a cell phone 911 call mapped in that area. The officer searched the area and checked with a few residents, but could not locate the source of the call.
8/8/2014	5:34 PM	Juvenile	North Ave.	On the listed date and time an officer responded to the listed location in reference to a juvenile assault. Upon arrival it was determined to involve two small children. The parents were encouraged to work the issues out with their children.
8/9/2014	1:17 AM	Suspicious Person/Vehicle/Curfew	South Jefferson Ave.	On the stated date and time, an officer observed a  vehicle parked at the listed location with two subjects inside. Upon further investigation it was determined that one of the occupants was out past curfew. Contact was made with their parent and a warning for curfew was given.
8/9/2014	3:20 PM	Loud Noise/Disturbance	North Chillicothe St.	On the stated date and time, an officer responded to the listed location in reference to a loud noise complaint.
8/9/2014	4:31 PM	Neighbor Dispute	East Main St.	On the stated date and time, an officer responded to the listed location in reference to a neighbor dispute. Upon arrival parties were separated and given warnings for disorderly conduct.
8/10/2014	4:00 PM	911 Unknown	Carriage Dr.	On the stated date and time an officer was dispatched to the listed location in reference to a 911 unknown. An officer checked the area but was unable to locate the caller.
8/10/2014	9:00 PM	Well-being Check	North Ave.	On the stated date and time while on patrol an officer was flagged down by a resident in reference to a possible fight or assault that took place the night before. A well-being check was conducted and it was determined that everyone was okay (no obvious signs of assault). The parties advised it was another couple at their house that were arguing and they left after going inside for the night. They were warned to keep the noise level down.
8/11/2014	12:55 PM	Juvenile	Buggywhip Ln.	On the above date and time, an officer responded to a residence at the listed location in regards to a theft. Upon arrival the item was already recovered and was being returned to the rightful owner by the foster parent. An officer spoke with the juvenile about the consequences of stealing.
8/11/2014	1:15 PM	Juvenile	West Main St.	On the above date and time, an officer responded to the listed location on the report of two children hanging out the upstairs window of the listed location. Upon arrival contact was made with a parent who informed the officer that he was already aware of the complaint and had handled the situation.
8/11/2014	1:39 PM	Assist Other Agency	Plain City-Georgesville Rd.	On the above date and time,  officers responded to the listed location at Amity Pike per the Madison County Sheriff's Office. This was in reference to an injury accident where the driver of the truck took off running into a cornfield. Upon the officers arrival and a short time later the driver was located in a wooded area and was placed under arrest for OVI.

8/12/2014	5:01 AM	Criminal Damaging	Cooper Ln.	On the stated date and time an officer responded to the listed location in reference to a criminal damaging complaint. Upon arrival an officer made contact with the resident who advised that when he exited his residence he observed that several of his solar lights had been taken and smashed on the street beside his residence. Note: Three juveniles were taken into custody on 08/16/14 for a rash of criminal damaging incidents dating back to June 2014 thru 08/16/14.
8/12/2014	7:11 AM	Criminal Damaging	Buckboard Ln.	On the stated date and time, an officer responded to the listed location in reference to a criminal damaging complaint. Upon arrival,  the resident advised the officer that sometime around 0400-0415 Hrs, unknown suspects threw eggs at his residence.
8/12/2014	8:55 AM	Criminal Damaging	Cooper Ln.	On the stated date and time, an officer spoke with a resident via public service in reference to a criminal damaging complaint. The resident stated that sometime around 0330 Hrs, she heard something outside her residence. She woke up this morning to find that her solar lights had been pulled from the yard and thrown about. She also stated that some had been broken. The officer encouraged her to contact the police department in the future at the time of the incident when/if she sees something suspicious.

8/15/2014	7:51 PM	Animal Complaint - Other	Cottonwood Ct.	On the listed date and time an officer responded to the area of Cottonwood Court in reference to a loose dog.
8/16/2014	12:00 AM	Miscellaneous - Unclassified	South Jefferson Ave.	On the stated date and time,  an officer responded to the listed location in reference to a suspicious phone call.
8/16/2014	2:05 AM	Juvenile	Cooper Ln.	On the stated date and time officers responded to the listed location in reference to several juveniles destroying solar lights at the listed location. The caller had observed the suspects and contacted the police. Upon arrival all suspects were determined to be juveniles. They were taken into custody and transported to the police department and they were released later to their parents. Charges are pending on all three suspects.
8/16/2014	10:45 AM	Criminal Damaging	Cooper Ln.	On the listed date and time an officer responded to the listed location in reference to criminal damaging. The caller advised that sometime overnight dog excrement was put on his driveway and front door. The caller advised that someone had taken one of his landscaping lights and broken a large glass bottle in the road in front of his residence on Tuesday 08/12/2014.
8/16/2014	1:05 PM	Criminal Damaging	Hawthorne Dr.	On the listed date and time an officer received a call at the Police Department from a resident advising that sometime overnight, an unknown person stole a solar landscaping light from his front yard. The resident wanted the Police Department to be aware of the incident because they had heard of several other incidents in the neighborhood.

8/18/2014	11:51 PM	Missing/Runaway Juvenile	North Mechanic St.	On the stated date and time an officer responded to the listed location in reference to a missing/runaway juvenile. A report was taken and the juvenile was entered into NCIC. The juvenile was located in Columbus the following day by another family member. The parent was referred to the Union County Prosecutor's Office in regards to unruliness charges.
