Officers placed her into custody without incident. Officers transported Cristi to Tri-County Regional Jail. Cristi was released into their custody without issue. Officers then returned to patrol.

Officers were dispatched to the area of the listed location in reference to a solicitor complaint.  Officers made contact with the driver Christopher Kendricks, front passenger Imari Menfee, back seat passenger Taylre Arnold. Christopher, Imari, and Taylre advised they worked for Premier Home Exterior and had no permits.  Christopher, Imari, and Taylre were issued a summons for Peddlers/Solicitors. Christopher was issued a DUS, No OL, and Failure to Reinstate citations as well. Imari drove the vehicle away from the scene. Officers then returned to patrol.

Officer was on patrol when Officer was flagged down by complainant who advised Officer that his daughter's black BMX style bicycle (unknown brand) was stolen from the listed location. 12/19/2020 1142 hours complaint came to the Police Department and advised that the bicycle had been found and learned that it had been moved as a practical joke.  No further follow-up is needed.

Officer received a phone call from complainant who stated, around 0935 hours, an unknown male came into her driveway and was looking at her empty water jugs that she had set out to be picked up by her water distributor.  The male was there for a few seconds and left.  He was described as a white male, approximately 5'-06", slender build, wearing camouflage coveralls, and a white hat.  Nothing appeared to be messed with, but she thought it was strange and wanted the police department to be aware of the incident.

Officers were dispatched to the listed location in reference to a suspicious circumstance complaint.  After further investigation, Officer located an Open Container of Natural Light beer in the vehicle.  Inside subject's purse, a Marlboro cigarette box, a glass crack pipe, and brillo was located.  Michelle Ohara was issued a citation for Failure to Reinstate and No OL.  She was also issued a summons for Open Container.  Sheila King was issued a summons for Drug Paraphernalia.  Both subjects were later released to a friend.

While checking the listed location, Officer located a license plate in the window of the business. Officer made contact with plate owner via public service, who advised that he no longer owns the vehicle that the registration belongs to.  Plate owner stated he threw the license plate in his truck bed, and when he went through the car wash, it must have fallen out.  He requested that Officer destroy the plate.  It was destroyed on this date.

Suspicious Circumstances

Officer was dispatched to the listed location in reference to a suspicious circumstance. The caller advised there was a suspicious vehicle in her neighbor's driveway. Caller further advised someone exited the vehicle and knocked on her door after knocking on the door to the listed location for several minutes.  Officer informed all parties that homeowner was currently in Tri-County Jail. All parties left the scene enroute back to Tennessee. Officer then returned to patrol.

Officer observed a black Honda sedan traveling northbound on South Chillicothe St.  Officer checked the vehicle's speed at 45 MPH in a 35 MPH speed zone. Officer also learned the registration expired 06-01-2020. Driver was given a verbal warning for expired tags and speed. Officer then returned to patrol.

Drunk Driver

Officer was on patrol when Officer observed a Silver Acura parked on the lot of the listed location running. Upon attempting to speak with the driver, Tristin Lester, he was unresponsive and would not wake up. The passenger was also unresponsive.  Passenger was transported to hospital by medic.  Tristin was placed in custody for OVI. The vehicle was secured on the lot of the Marathon.  Tristin was issued a citation for OVI 4511.19A1a and later released to his grandpa. See case for further information.

Officers were dispatched to the listed location in reference to a theft complaint.  Upon arrival, Officers met with the owner, who advised that she noticed two trash cans were missing from the rear of the business.  12/24/2020-While patrolling the area, Officers found one of the trash cans had been returned to the rear of the business. Another trash can (same make/model/price tag) was located behind Hair Loft 120.  12/26/2020 1800 Hours-Complaint requested that Officer make contact with Hair Loft 120 to inquire on the trash can.  Complainant wants it back if it belongs to her.
