Subject called the Plain City Police Department, stating that he forgot his cell phone at Plain City Barbell. Officers were able to let the caller back into the listed location where he recovered his phone that he left on the treadmill. Both units then returned to patrol.

Officer was dispatched in the area of West Main St near the westside corporation limits regarding a driving complaint.  Officer initiated a traffic stop with the vehicle and made contact with the vehicle driver.  Driver was advised of the driving complaints against him, driver apologized. Officer observed a vehicle with expired tags.  Officer initiated a traffic stop with the vehicle and made contact with the vehicle driver and his front seat passenger, Isa Thomas. Vehicle driver was released with a verbal warning for expired tags. Isa was later taken back to the Police Department and issued a traffic citation for No Seat Belt and a criminal summons for Drug paraphernalia.   Additional charges pending prosecutor review.

Dustin was later issued a traffic citation for No Valid OL and FRA Suspension. Dustin was given a verbal warning for expired tags.  The vehicle was towed to the PCPD impound lot.

Suspicious Circumstances

Hawthorne Dr.

Officers were dispatched to the listed location in reference to a suspicious vehicle.  The vehicle had left the listed location prior to Officer's arrival.  Officers checked the residence and found it to be secure.  Officer was able to make contact with the homeowner (via public service) and advise him of the incident.  Homeowner stated that it was most likely his son and one of his friends.  Homeowner thanked Officers for checking on the residence, and Officers returned to patrol.

Officer observed a red Ford Focus vehicle brake several times before pulling over to the side of the road and activate it’s hazard lights. Officer then made contact with the vehicle driver and her passengers.  It was found that all of the subjects were juveniles.  All juveniles were advised of the possible consequences for being out past curfew and given a verbal warning.  All of the parents involved advised strict discipline would happen at home and thanked Officers for making contact. Officer then returned to patrol.

Officer was dispatched to the area of Plain City-Georgeville Road, south of Converse-Huff, in reference to a road hazard. Upon arrival, Officer observed a low hanging tree that could be struck by a larger vehicle. Officer then requested the Pleasant Valley Fire Department, who arrived on scene and cut the tree down. After the tree was no longer a hazard, Officer then returned to patrol.
