Officer responded to the listed location in reference to a possible dispute.  All parties were advised to stay away from one another. Suspect was advised of the seriousness of her actions and the possible consequences if this were to happen again.

Marijuana

West Main St.

Officer was on patrol when Officer observed a white Nissan SUV parked on the lot of the listed location. The vehicle had its rear hatch completely open. No one was seen in or around the vehicle. When checking the interior, Officer located marijuana, along with marijuana drug paraphernalia, which were all seized.  After making contact with suspect, suspect confirmed the marijuana and paraphernalia was his.  Suspect was advised he would not be receiving charges for the marijuana or drug paraphernalia. The vehicle was secured on the lot. Officer then returned to patrol.

Drunk Driver

West Main St.

Officer was dispatched to the area of West Main Street in reference to a driving complaint. Officer initiated a traffic stop with the vehicle and made contact with the driver/owner, Krista Reck.  After further investigation, Krista was placed under arrest for OVI, Endangering Children, License Forfeiture Suspension, No OL, Failure to Transfer, Expired Tags, and Seat Belt Violation.  Krista was then transported to Tri-County Regional Jail without incident. Suspicious Person/Vehicle

Alcott Dr.

Officer responded to the area of Alcott Drive and Cooper Lane in reference to a suspicious vehicle complaint. The caller stated that an older model truck with a loud exhaust had been parked with its lights off on Alcott Drive. When the caller exited their residence, the vehicle immediately turned onto Cooper Lane and left the area. Upon arrival, Officer checked the area but was unable to locate anything out of the ordinary. Officer then returned to patrol.

Loud Noise/Disturbance

Officer responded to the listed location in reference to a noise complaint. The caller (who wished to remain anonymous) stated that there was loud music coming from the listed location. Upon arrival, Officer could hear loud sounds coming from the apartment. Officer made contact with the resident, who stated that the sounds were from the TV and that he would turn the sound down. Officer then returned to patrol.

Officer had victim contact her bank and freeze her account.  Victim was also given instructions on how to dispute the transactions.  After victim was done talking to her bank and understood what to do next, Officer then returned to patrol.

Traffic Stop

Officer observed a maroon Ford F-150 traveling southbound on South Jefferson Ave near West Ave. The vehicle only had one operating headlight (front right). Officer initiated a traffic stop with the vehicle and made contact with the driver, Brittany Anthony.  Brittany was later issued a traffic citation for Plate/Identification Mark belonging to another vehicle. Brittany was given a verbal warning for expired tags, One Headlight, and advised to destroy the vehicle plates immediately. Officer then returned to patrol.

Officer observed a silver Honda Civic traveling eastbound on East Main St near North Ave.  The vehicle plate was not visible.  Officer initiated a traffic stop with the vehicle and made contact with the vehicle driver, Jennifer Dickey, and her passenger.  Jennifer was cited for ALS suspension and No Valid OL.

Road Hazard

Officer received a direct complaint that a storm drain grate near the listed location had fallen into the drain.  Officers, were able to pull it out and set it back on top of the drain.  However, the grate was still loose, so Officer placed a cone on it to prevent any vehicles from driving over it.  Officer also notified Public Works about it.  Both Units then returned to patrol.
