Upon further investigation it was determined there was a 17 year old juvenile in the vehicle. Contact was made with a parent and a warning for curfew was given.
1/1/2015	1:23 AM	Warrant	West Bigelow Ave.	On the stated date and time while conducting bar checks, an officer located Brandon K. Hensley, 30yoa of Columbus, Ohio at the listed location. Having prior knowledge of warrants (confirmed) out of Columbus Police Department for Domestic Violence and Assault, the listed party was placed under arrest.  The suspect became violent and began kicking the windows and also banging his head against the windows. Once calmed down he was transported to Get Go Gas Station in Dublin and released to a Franklin County Deputy.

West Main St.	On the stated date and time officers responded to the listed location in reference to a domestic dispute and criminal damaging to a vehicle. Upon further investigation a 16yoa female was charged with underage consumption/intoxication. The juvenile was released to a parent.

1/4/2015	12:45 AM	Domestic Dispute	South Chillicothe St.	On the stated date and time officers responded to the listed location in reference to a domestic dispute. Both parties agreed the dispute was strictly verbal and agreed to separate and remain calm for the rest of the night. The officers then returned to patrol.

Dispatch was able to make contact with the caller who advised that he had accidently sat on his phone and dialed 911. Upon arrival the officer made contact with the caller who and verified that everything was fine.

1/5/2015	6:55 AM	Deceased Person	Shepper Ave.	On the above date and time, an officer responded to the listed location in reference to a deceased person. Upon further investigation, the death of a 62yoa female was determined to be of natural causes.
1/5/2015	10:40 AM	Suspicious Circumstances	SR 161 W	On the listed date and time an officer was met on station by a resident. The resident advised that she had received a suspicious call that she felt was a scam. After discussing the matter, it was determined that it was an attempted scam.

Upon arrival it was discovered a vehicle backed into a gas meter and it was leaking. The FD was called to the scene and the situation was placed under control.
1/6/2015	7:36 PM	911 Follow-up	South Jefferson Ave.	On the stated date and time, an officer responded to the area of the Jefferson Avenue Cell Tower in reference to a 911 hang-up. Upon arrival nothing was located.
1/7/2015	12:41 AM	Domestic Dispute	North Ave.	On the stated date and time officers responded to the listed location in reference to a domestic situation. Upon arrival and further investigation, both parties were intoxicated and gave conflicting statements. The case was forwarded the prosecutor for review for possible domestic violence charges. Once party left the residence to stay with a family member.

Contact was made with the owner, who advised he left it open while brining in groceries. After determining everything to be fine the officer returned to patrol.

Upon arrival and after further investigation, William A. Blythe, 19yoa of Plain City was issued a citation for Failure to Control. A crash report was completed.
1/9/2015	3:39 PM	Assist Other Agency	SR 161 E	On the stated date and time, an officer responded to the listed location to assist the Madison County Sheriff's Office on an alarm drop.
1/9/2015	4:09 PM	Suspicious Person/Vehicle	South Jefferson Ave.	On the stated date and time, an officer responded to the listed location in reference to a suspicious person/vehicle complaint. Upon arrival everything checked okay.
1/10/2015	3:19 PM	Fire Support	South Jefferson Ave.	On the stated date and time, an officer responded to the listed location in reference to a subject with a head injury from a fall. While en route, dispatch advised that the subject was not responsive. Upon arrival,  the officer determined the patient was not breathing. The officer began CPR until Medic 261 arrived on the scene and transported the patient to the  hospital.  It was discovered later that the patient did not survive.
1/10/2015	9:40 PM	Assist Other Agency	Smith-Calhoun Rd.	On the stated date and time officers were requested by the Madison County Sherriff’s Office to respond to the listed location in reference to a suspicious circumstance. Dispatch advised the homeowner heard footsteps and believed someone was in her barn. Upon our arrival officers searched the listed location but did not find anything out of the ordinary. Officers were then met on scene by a Madison County Deputy and returned to patrol.

1/15/2015	8:10 AM	Domestic Dispute	North Ave.	On the above date and time, officers responded to the listed location in reference to a domestic dispute involving a mother and son.  Referral services were made due to the mental health status of the son.
1/15/2015	12:40 PM	Miscellaneous - Unclassified	West Bigelow Ave.	On the above date and time while on routine patrol,  an officer observed a water main break in front of the listed location. The officer contacted the Public Works Department who arrived on the scene.

The caller advised that an elderly man was trying to gain access into the church at this  location. Upon arrival the officer made contact and discovered it was not an elderly man, but another person looking for work at the church.
1/15/2015	6:54 PM	Domestic Dispute	West Main St.	On the listed date and time an officer responded to the listed location in reference to a domestic dispute.  Upon arrival it was discovered that the roommates were involved in a verbal altercation and another roommate called to ensure the situation did not escalate. All parties advised that there was no violence or threats made and that there would not be any more issues for the night.
1/16/2015	11:00 PM	Assist Other Agency	West South St.	On the stated date and time an officer responded to the listed location at the request of the state adult parole agency to check to ensure a probationer was following curfew. Upon arrival it was determined the probationer was not home and the information was forwarded to the probation officer.
1/17/2015	1:10 AM	Suspicious Person/Vehicle	South Jefferson Ave.	On the stated date and time, while on routine patrol, an officer observed a vehicle on the lot of a closed business pull up to one of the sheds on the east side of the parking lot of the listed location. The officer also observed two subjects inside the shed. The officer made contact and learned it was employees getting supplies.

1/17/2015	5:33 PM	Domestic Dispute	Jackson St.	On the stated date and time officers responded to the listed location in reference to a domestic dispute. Upon arrival, it was discovered that one of the residents adult children, was removed from the residence and an argument had ensued. The party that was removed gathered their personal belongings and was transported by another family member to another residence.
1/17/2015	10:50 PM	911 Unknown	North Ave.	On the stated date and time an officer responded to the 100 block of North Ave. in reference to a 911 unknown. Upon arrival contact was made with a resident and the resident advised they had not dialed 911 and everything was determined to be fine.
1/18/2015	3:51 PM	Fire Support	East Main St.	On the stated date and time an officer responded to the listed location in reference to a natural gas leak. Upon arrival the officer was requested to close East Main St. at Church Street, while Fire Engine 211 closed the westbound lane at Butler Ave. The officer then re-directed traffic until their assistance was no longer needed and they opened the roadway back up.

Upon arrival the owner advised they were familiar with the person and did not wish to pursue anything at this time. The party did return later and pay for the fuel.

1/23/2015	4:40 PM	Juvenile	West Main St.	On the listed date and time an officer was met on station by a resident and her two sons. It was reported that other juveniles were bothering her sons on a repetitive basis while they are walking home from school. Contact was made with all the parents involved to resolve the matter.
1/23/2015	6:41 PM	Domestic Dispute	North Ave.	On the stated date and time, officers responded to the listed location in reference to a domestic dispute. An adult son and mother were in a argument over personal matters. The son left the residence to resolve the conflict. No threats or assault had taken place.
1/23/2015	8:37 PM	911 Follow-up	South Jefferson Ave.	On the stated date and time, an officer responded to the listed location in reference to a 911 follow-up. Dispatch advised that they spoke with the caller who stated that it was accidental. Upon arrival,  the officer met with the caller and he apologized and stated that he was getting into his pocket and accidentally dialed. After determining everything to be fine, the officer returned to patrol.
1/23/2015	10:36 PM	Suspicious Person/Vehicle	Village Blvd.	On the stated date and time an officer responded to the listed location in reference to a suspicious vehicle.  An employee advised that and older model Chevy truck pulled onto the lot of the listed location, drove behind the business and then left. Upon arrival the officer checked the area but was unable to locate anything out of the ordinary.
1/24/2015	3:50 PM	Trespasser	Church St.	On the stated date and time an officer responded to the listed location in regards to a trespassing complaint. It was reported that their neighbor walked into their residence uninvited and caused a disturbance. The caller did not want to pursue the matter at this time, but requested the officer to notify the neighbor not to do this again. Contact was made and a warning was given.
1/24/2015	6:51 PM	Suspicious Person	Coachman Dr.	On the stated date and time an officer responded to the listed location in reference to a suspicious person/vehicle. The caller, advised she saw a male pull up in a dark colored truck and walk on the side of her house. Upon arrival, it was discovered the person was visiting a family member next door.
1/24/2015	11:41 PM	Curfew	South Jefferson Ave.	On this date and time, an officer initiated a traffic stop at the listed location. Upon making contact with the occupants, it was discovered that there were juveniles in the vehicle out past curfew. Contact was made with the parents and the juveniles were directed to go home.
1/25/2015	2:59 AM	Assist Other Agency	US Rt. 42 N	On this date and time, an officer responded as backup for the Union County Sheriff's Office who had a vehicle stopped and requested a second officer.
1/25/2015	3:49 AM	Assist Other Agency	Warner Rd.	On this date and time, an officer responded as backup for the Union County S.O. at the listed address in reference to an alarm drop. Upon arrival, the officer found the residence to be secure and was able to make contact with a homeowner, who advised everything was fine.
1/25/2015	9:14 AM	Loud Noise/Disturbance	Plain City-Georgesville Rd.	On the listed date and time an officer responded to the area south of Plain City Elementary School in reference to gunshots. The caller advised that they believed that someone was hunting in the area and was concerned due to the proximity to the houses in the area. Upon arrival an officer made contact with a person who was goose hunting in the field south and west of the listed address. They were unaware this field was in the village limits. They were warned for hunting and left the area.

The officer responded to the listed location and performed a civil standby while the resident retrieved some personal items. The standby went without incident.
1/26/2015	10:12 AM	Suspicious Circumstances	South Jefferson Ave.	On the listed date and time an officer met with a business owner at the listed location in reference to a possible theft attempt using fraudulent credit cards. A referral was made to the Attorney General and FBI.

Upon arrival and further investigation it was discovered to be an ex spouse attempting to make contact with the resident regarding their children. The caller was given options on how to address the issue.
1/27/2015	7:18 PM	Alarm Drop	South Jefferson Ave.	On the stated date and time, an officer responded to the listed location in reference to an alarm drop. Upon arrival it was discovered to be an employee error.
1/28/2015	6:31 AM	Fire Support	Village Blvd.	On this date and time, an officer responded to the area of the listed location to assist the Fire Department in closing off the roadways due to a reported gas leak. They were able to resolve the issue a short time later and the roadway was reopened.
1/28/2015	2:51 PM	Theft - Misdemeanor	South Jefferson Ave.	On the above date and time, officers responded to the listed location in reference to a theft complaint. The caller did not want to pursue with theft charges, but wanted the person to leave the property and not return. The suspect was advised to leave and they did without incident.
1/28/2015	5:04 PM	Assist Other Agency	Gay St.	On this date and time, an officer assisted two ATF units at the listed location while they seized firearms from a residence.
1/28/2015	6:09 PM	Road Hazard	US Rt. 42 N	On the stated date and time and officer responded to US 42 north near Rickard Rd in reference to a large amount of hay in the roadway. Upon my arrival the officer removed the hay from the road and returned to patrol.
1/28/2015	6:35 PM	Assist Other Agency	US Rt. 33	On the above date and time, officers were requested by the Union County Sheriff's Office to assist with deploying stop sticks at US Rt. 33 and SR 161 for a vehicle they were pursuing. They were pursuing the vehicle due it being reported stolen out of a domestic incident. While enroute, the pursuit was terminated and both units returned to patrol.
1/29/2015	4:03 AM	Assist Other Agency	South Jefferson Ave.	On the listed date and time, an officer stopped a Freightliner Semi on South Jefferson Avenue for a no headlights violation. Upon further investigation it was found that the Semi had stuck a sign and other debris on US Rte. 42 N in the area of US Rte. 33. A Union County SO deputy arrived to investigate the crash further.
1/29/2015	1:56 PM	Animal Complaint - Other	East Main St.	On the listed date and time an officer responded to the listed location in reference to an animal complaint.
1/30/2015	11:14 AM	Assist Other Agency	Price-Hilliards Rd.	On the above date and time,  officers responded to the 5000 block of Price Hilliards Road per the Madison County Sheriff's Office to attempt to locate two subjects that were attempting to break into a residence. Two other subjects had already been apprehended. Upon arrival, the officers located the two other suspects behind a residence. Two suspects were placed into custody without incident. Both were then turned over to Madison County Sheriff's Office.
1/30/2015	3:36 PM	Wanted Vehicle/Stolen	West Main St.	On the stated date and time, an officer responded to the area of West Main Street and Jefferson Avenue in reference to a stolen vehicle. Dispatch advised that a tractor/trailer was stolen from the Pilot (42 & 70), within the hour, and the GPS coordinates located it in the area. Upon arrival, with Madison County S.O., we located the trailer parked in the grass behind the listed location, the cab was not with the trailer.
1/30/2015	3:45 PM	Wanted Vehicle / Stolen	South Jefferson Ave.	On the listed date and time an officer was attempting to locate a stolen vehicle. A tractor/trailer had been stolen from 42&70. The trailer was located but the tractor was gone. The officer located the vehicle on the S/E corner of the Der Dutchman parking lot. There was no one with the vehicle. The vehicle was released to the Madison County S.O.
1/30/2015	4:31 PM	Well-being Check	North Ave.	On the stated date and time, officers responded to the listed location in reference to a well-being check. Contact was made with UC Dept of Jobs and family services.
1/30/2015	7:08 PM	Failure to Pay	West Main St.	On the stated date and time, an officer responded to the listed location in reference to a report of failure to pay. The officer went to the residence of the described vehicle owner and advised him of the complaint.  The customer advised that he paid using cash. The customer followed the officer back to the business and it was discovered to be a misunderstanding and that the customer did pay.
1/30/2015	9:18 PM	Ex Parte Order	North Ave.	On the stated date and time, officers responded to the Darby Apartments with social workers from the Union County Department of Jobs and Family Services while they removed children from the residence on an ex parte order.
1/31/2015	1:04 AM	Trespasser	Shepper Ave.	On the listed date and time, officers responded to the listed location in reference to three to four people walking through the back yard and standing beside the residence's driveway. The caller advised dispatch that when they turned on the exterior light the subjects took off running east. The caller  also advised it appeared to be teenagers. Upon  arrival the officers checked the area and didn't locate anyone. The officer met with the caller to report the findings.
1/31/2015	5:40 AM	Assist Other Agency	El Camino Dr.	On the listed date and time, an officer was requested by the Union County Sheriff's Office to back up a deputy at the listed location in reference to an activated alarm. Upon arrival it was determined to be a home owner error.
