Officer initiated a traffic stop on a black Chevy Van for an equipment violation.  Officer made contact with the vehicle driver, Kenneth Mounts, and his passenger, Michelle Wright.  Kenneth was issued a traffic citation for one brake light and released from the scene. Michelle was later released from the hospital and transported to the Tri-County Jail where she was booked in on drug abuse instruments (x2) drug paraphernalia and possession of a controlled substance. Officer was on patrol when Officer observed a white Ford van traveling westbound on West Main Street near Smith Place. Officer initiated a traffic stop with the vehicle on West Main Street.  After further investigation, Kelly McGraw was ultimately cited for OVI, Open Container, and Safety Belt. He was then advised of his court date and released to a friend. Officer then returned to patrol.

Officer responded to 272 Maple St in reference to a possible stolen package. Subject advised that the post office accidently delivered her package to the wrong address. On 08/19/2018 Officer confirmed subject received the package.

Lafayette-Plain City Rd.
Officer conducted a routine registration check on a white Chevrolet Cruze that was parked in the lot of the listed location. Officer learned that the registered owner, Preanna Sanders, had an entered (confirmed) warrant out of the Whitehall Police Department for FTA on a traffic offense. Officer transported her to the Get Go in Dublin to wait for Whitehall PD. Whitehall PD arrived on the scene and advised that Preanna's bond was paid in full and the warrant was recalled. At Preanna's request, Officer transported her back to Edgewater Assisted Living and dropped her off. Officer then returned to patrol.

Officer advised mother that the report would be forwarded to UCDOJFS for review. Officer then departed the scene for a warrant transport.

Officer was at the listed location for a well being check on an unrelated person when Officer learned that Seth Liddle had an entered (confirmed statewide) warrant out of Logan County for violation of a court order (failure to serve Jail time from non-support). Officer placed Seth in custody without incident. Officer later transported him to the Union County-Logan County Line on US Rt. 33 where Officer met with a Logan County Deputy. Officer then returned to patrol.

Officer responded to Pastime Park in reference to a direct complaint of Vandalism. Officer made contact with subject and her children, and advised her that the park does not give permission to harvest wood from the premises. Officer observed the ashes from the extinguished fire was not indicative of green, harvested wood or branches and the portion of woods she was near did not have any evidence of chopping. Officer then returned to patrol.

Complainant requested Officer contact her ex-husband and advise him to have no further contact with her unless it’s about their daughter. Officer then made contact with ex-husband and advised him of this. He agreed to have no further contact with subject unless it was in reference to their daughter. Officer then returned to patrol.

Officer was dispatched to a non-injury crash on SR 161E near Butler Avenue.  Upon arrival Officer met with Halimatou Tounkara and driver of the other vehicle. Ms. Tounkara was later issued a citation for Assured Clear Distance Ahead (PC Ord.# 333.03a) and was advised of her court date.

The registration returned to, Jacob Morrow, a suspended driver. Jacob was issued a traffic citation for driving on a license forfeiture suspension and no valid ol. Jacob was issued a criminal summons for drug abuse instruments . Jacob’s vehicle was parked safely off of the roadway.  Officer then returned to patrol.

Dispatch advised an unknown black SUV was parked in front of the residence with several people inside smoking. Upon my arrival Officer made contact with the driver, Harlee D. Boyer, and passengers, Shawn D. Haskett Jr., and Tristen S. Metzger. Harlee Boyer was cited for Possession of a Controlled Substance. Shawn Haskett was cited for Drug Paraphernalia, and Tristen Metzger was cited for Possession of a Controlled Substance and Drug Paraphernalia. See media and case for further.

Officer was on patrol when Officer began observing a silver Chrysler sedan commit three marked lane violations.  Officer made contact with the driver, Marjorie L. Schlabach. Due to the severity of the violations, Officer determined that Mrs. Schlabach received a citation and have an operator’s driving exam recertification test. Mrs. Schlabach was cited for Marked Lanes (PC ORD 331.08A). Her daughter, a valid driver, arrived on scene and drove the vehicle from scene.  Marjorie was served the BMV 2308 Driving Exam Recertification.

Officer then checked the area and was able to locate the subject.  Subject requested a ride to Mike’s Pit Stop. Subject was then transported to Mike’s Pit Stop without incident. Officer then returned to patrol.
