8/5/2018	7:36 AM	Well-being Check	North Ave.	Officer was met on station by complainant requesting a well check on his daughter.  Officer  made contact with the mother at her residence and spoke to her about the concerns. Officer advised mother that the report would be forwarded to UCDOJFS for review. Officer then departed the scene for a warrant transport.
8/5/2018	7:36 AM	Warrant - Misdemeanor	North Ave.	Officer was at the listed location for a well being check on an unrelated person when Officer learned that Seth Liddle had an entered (confirmed statewide) warrant out of Logan County for violation of a court order (failure to serve Jail time from non-support). Officer placed Seth in custody without incident. Officer later transported him to the Union County-Logan County Line on US Rt. 33 where Officer met with a Logan County Deputy. Officer then returned to patrol.
8/5/2018	3:16 PM	Vandalism	North Chillicothe St.	Officer responded to Pastime Park in reference to a direct complaint of Vandalism. Officer made contact with subject and her children, and advised her that the park does not give permission to harvest wood from the premises. Officer observed the ashes from the extinguished fire was not indicative of green, harvested wood or branches and the portion of woods she was near did not have any evidence of chopping. 8/5/2018	6:29 PM	Harassment/Menacing	West Main St.	Officer was met at the Police Department by complainant in reference to a harassment complaint. Complainant requested Officer contact her ex-husband and advise him to have no further contact with her unless it’s about their daughter. Officer then made contact with ex-husband and advised him of this. He agreed to have no further contact with subject unless it was in reference to their daughter. Officer then returned to patrol. 8/5/2018	9:41 PM	Loud Noise/Disturbance	North Chillicothe St.	Officers responded to the listed location in reference to a possible dispute. Officers  advised both parties to keep the noise to a minimum then returned to patrol.	Pastime Park
8/5/2018	1:51 AM	Assist Other Agency	Memorial Dr.	Officer was requested by the Union County Sheriff's Office to the listed location in reference to an alarm drop. Once assistance was no longer needed, Officer returned to patrol.

8/6/2018	11:30 PM	Suspicious Person/Vehicle	West Main St.	Officer was on patrol when Officer observed a suspicious vehicle/person at the listed location.  After determining everything to be fine, Officer returned to patrol.	St. Joseph's Rec Center
8/6/2018	8:01 PM	Non-Injury Crash	SR 161 E	Officer was dispatched to a non-injury crash on SR 161E near Butler Avenue.  Upon arrival Officer met with Halimatou Tounkara and driver of the other vehicle. Ms. Tounkara was later issued a citation for Assured Clear Distance Ahead (PC Ord.# 333.03a) and was advised of her court date.   See OH-1 and witness statements for any additional information.
8/6/2018	11:36 AM	Trespasser	West Bigelow Ave.	Officer was met on station by complainant who advised that an employee of the business was living in an RV parked on the property and had been told in person and in writing that he needed to remove the RV from the property and thus far, had not. On 8/13/2018 complainant advised that the owner of the company extended the deadline to 8/17/2018.	The Ball House
8/6/2018	12:35 AM	Loud Noise/Disturbance	North Chillicothe St.	Officers were dispatched to the primitive camping area at the Pastime Park in reference to a noise complaint. Both subjects were advised to be aware of other campers and to remain quiet. Officers then returned to patrol.	Pastime Park
8/6/2018	4:56 PM	Juvenile	Gay St.	Officers were advised of a small juvenile playing on the sidewalk in the area of Gay Street unattended. After determining everything checked okay, Officer returned to patrol.
8/7/2018	7:04 PM	Parking Complaint	Shepper Ave.	Officer went to the listed location in reference to a report of vehicle illegally parked in front of the residence on Shepper Avenue. Upon arrival, Officer confirmed the vehicle was, in fact, illegally parked. The wife of the vehicle owner advised she would inform her husband to get it taken care of. Officer then returned to patrol.

8/7/2018	4:45 PM	Road Hazard	North Chillicothe St.	Officer was on patrol when Officer observed a bag of trash lying on the roadway near the entrance to Pastime Park. Officer removed the bag and disposed of it in the dumpster at the park. Officer then returned to patrol.
8/7/2018	6:18 PM	Parking Complaint	Lantern Ln.	Officer was dispatched to the listed location in reference to parking complaint. The caller advised a white Honda Accord has been parked in front of his house for days and not moved. The vehicle owner advised he had parked there when visiting friends and then left with his wife. He advised he would be en route to retrieve his vehicle.
8/8/2018	10:09 PM	911 Unknown	Willow Creek Ct.	Officer responded to the listed location in reference to a 911 unknown. After determining everything checked okay, Officer returned to patrol.
8/8/2018	10:40 PM	Runaway Juvenile	West South St.	Officers responded to the area of Pastime Park, per request of the caller, in reference to a runaway juvenile. Juvenile was advised he was getting charged with curfew violation. Officers also explained to juvenile he needs to listen to his mother and not wander away after an argument. See case for further.
8/8/2018	9:45 PM	Suspicious Circumstances	West South St.	Officers responded to the listed location in reference to a possible burglary.  Upon arrival, Officers checked the interior but found nothing out of the ordinary. Officers then returned to patrol.
8/8/2018	8:56 PM	Domestic Dispute	West Main St.	Officers responded to the listed location in reference to a domestic dispute. Once determining everything was okay, Officers returned to patrol.
8/9/2018	9:56 PM	Assist Other Agency	Smith Calhoun Rd.	Officer was dispatched to the listed location reference assisting Madison Co. Sheriff’s Office with a suicide attempt. Once assistance was no longer needed, Officer returned to patrol.
8/9/2018	10:38 AM	Runaway Juvenile	Converse Ave.	Officer was dispatched to the listed address in reference to a juvenile that had ran away from the house following an argument. A few moments later, the mother called and advised that the juvenile returned home. Officer met with them and gave both of  them advice for how to deal with such disputes in the future and advised the juvenile that her actions were inappropriate. After determining everything to be fine, Officer returned to patrol.
8/9/2018	2:31 PM	Dead on Arrival	Dogwood Ct.	Officers responded to the listed location in reference to a non breather. Medic 261 Pronounced Jerry Barber deceased at 1436 hours. See case for further
8/9/2018	6:01 PM	Assist Other Agency	Converse Huff	Officer was requested by the Madison County Sheriff’s Office to respond to the listed location in reference to a possible theft. The information was forwarded to the Sheriff’s Office. Officer then returned to patrol.
8/9/2018	8:14 PM	Drug Paraphernalia	North Chillicothe St.	Officer conducted a routine registration check on a white Dodge Caliber traveling southbound on North Chillicothe Street near Pastime Park. The registration returned to, Jacob Morrow, a suspended driver. Jacob was issued a traffic citation for driving on a license forfeiture suspension and no valid ol. Jacob was issued a criminal summons for drug abuse instruments . Jacob’s vehicle was parked safely off of the roadway.  Officer then returned to patrol.
8/10/2018	9:52 PM	911 Follow-up	Willow Bend Cir	Officer responded to the listed location in reference to a 911 follow up. After deeming everything fine, Officer returned to patrol.
8/10/2018	3:32 AM	Animal Complaint - Other	Smucker Ln.	Officer was on patrol when dispatched to the listed location reference a loose canine. Canine owner was warned for Dogs at Large.
8/10/2018	5:50 PM	Civil Dispute/Standby	Friend St.	Officer was dispatched to the police department in reference to a custody exchange. Upon determining everything to be okay, Officer returned to patrol.	Plain City Police Department
8/11/2018	11:43 PM	Juvenile	Village Blvd.	Officer was on patrol when Officer observed two juveniles riding their bikes on Village Blvd near Harrington Drive.  All parties were advised of the curfew times. After determining everything to be fine, Officer then returned to patrol.
8/11/2018	2:15 AM	Marijuana	Willowbend Cir.	Officers were dispatched to the listed location in reference to a suspicious vehicle/person. Dispatch advised an unknown black SUV was parked in front of the residence with several people inside smoking. Upon my arrival Officer made contact with the driver, Harlee D. Boyer, and passengers, Shawn D. Haskett Jr., and Tristen S. Metzger. Harlee Boyer was cited for Possession of a Controlled Substance. Shawn Haskett was cited for Drug Paraphernalia, and Tristen Metzger was cited for Possession of a Controlled Substance and Drug Paraphernalia. See media and case for further.
8/11/2018	11:33 AM	Animal Complaint - Other	South Chillicothe St.	Officer was dispatched to the area of the listed location in reference to a loose dog complaint. Upon arrival Officer checked the area and adjacent area and could not locate the dog. Officer then returned to patrol.
8/11/2018	11:45 AM	Well-being Check	North Ave.	Officer was dispatched to the listed location in reference to a well being check.  Upon determining everything to be okay, Officer returned to patrol.
8/11/2018	7:53 PM	Traffic Stop	Plain City-Georgesville Rd.	Officer was on patrol when Officer began observing a silver Chrysler sedan commit three marked lane violations.  Officer made contact with the driver, Marjorie L. Schlabach. Due to the severity of the violations, Officer determined that Mrs. Schlabach received a citation and have an operator’s driving exam recertification test. Mrs. Schlabach was cited for Marked Lanes (PC ORD 331.08A). Her daughter, a valid driver, arrived on scene and drove the vehicle from scene.  Marjorie was served the BMV 2308 Driving Exam Recertification.
8/11/2018	11:21 PM	Suspicious Person	US Rt. 42 N	Officer was on patrol when Officer was dispatched to the area of US 42 near Rickard Rd reference a suspicious person. Officer then checked the area and was able to locate the subject.  Subject requested a ride to Mike’s Pit Stop. Subject was then transported to Mike’s Pit Stop without incident. Officer then returned to patrol.
