Officer responded on a fraud complaint. After further investigation, the incident occurred outside of the Village limits and was referred to the Madison County Sheriff's Office.

Officers responded on a complaint of a Solicitor. Officers made contact with the individual, who advised he worked for Aptive Enviromental and he did not have a solicitor permit from the Village. Subsequently, Anthony Robles, 20, of Washington, UT, was charged for Soliciting without a Permit.

Theft - Misdemeanor

West Main St.

Officer responded on a complaint of a theft of a wallet. The caller advised he dropped his wallet at the business and a witness saw an unknown subject pick it up and leave with it. The investigation is ongoing.

Officer found a door unsecured, checked the building and found nothing out of the ordinary. Officer was unable to secure the door and left a note.

Suspicious Person/Vehicle

South Jefferson Ave.

Officer responded on a suspicious vehicle at the business after business hours. Contact was made with the driver, who advised she cleans the business after hours. After deeming everything to be fine, officer returned to patrol.
