Officer was dispatched to the listed location in reference a suspicious vehicle parked in front of the residence. The vehicle was legally parked on the roadway and not a hazard. Officer advised that this vehicle belonged to a resident on Shepper Ave. Officer then returned to patrol.

Officer was on patrol and initiated a traffic stop with the vehicle on North Chillicothe Street near Pastime Park. After further investigation, Sarah J. Strate was placed under arrest for OVI. Sarah was ultimately cited for OVI, OVI Super Concentration, Marked Lanes, Expired Tags and Improperly Handling Firearms in a Motor Vehicle. Sarah was transported to Tri- County Regional Jail and her vehicle was retrieved by her husband.

Officer observed a male subject walking southbound on North Chillicothe Street just south of US 42. Upon making contact with the male subject Officer learned that the subject’s vehicle had a flat tire on 42 North of town. Officer then transported subject to his residence. Subject thanked Officer for taking him back to his residence.  Officer than returned to patrol.

Officer met with subject at the listed location for a civil standby.  After subject left the residence, Officer took possession of the house key and returned it to homeowner. After determining everything to be fine, Officer returned to patrol.

Officers responded to the listed location in reference to an air soft gun complaint. Upon arrival, Officers spoke with all parties and  advised them that they could not shoot airsoft guns inside the village limits. They advised they would stop immediately. After deeming everything fine Officers returned to patrol.

Officer responded to the area of Willowbend Circle in reference to several kids running around with shorts and no shirts on. Upon arrival, Officer made contact with several males and they confirmed that this was "senior tag". Officer warned all of them for trespassing and returned to patrol.

Officer conducted a routine registration check on a tan Jeep Cherokee and learned the registered owner had an expired driver’s license. Officer made contact with the driver, Christopher Forsythe who was subsequently cited for Failure to Reinstate Suspension, Non Compliance Suspension, Judgment Suspension, and No Valid OL. His vehicle was released to a valid driver on scene. The passenger, Lane Allen was charged with Obstructing Official Business (ORC 2921.31A).

Officer met with complainant at the police department in reference to a telecommunication harassment complaint. Officer made contact with subject, via public service.  Officer advised subject that she should just ignore the rumors and not have any further contact with complainant or she could be charged. Subject advised that she understood.

UCSO requested a K9 to assist with an open air narcotic sniff of a vehicle they had involved in a traffic stop on US 33 near US 36. Once assistance was no longer need, Officer then returned to patrol

Officer observed a tan Mercedes-Benz sedan bearing (OH.Reg.FQV2784) traveling eastbound on West Main St near South Chillicothe St. Officer initiated a traffic stop with the vehicle and made contact with the vehicle operator, Joshua Gingerich.  Josh Gingerich was issued a criminal summons for Possession of Marijuana (ORC 2925.11A). Josh was issued traffic citation for No Valid OL (ORC 4510.12A1) and Failure to Reinstate (ORC 4510.21). Josh was given a verbal warning for the turn signal violation and was advised to have a valid driver pick up the vehicle. Officer then returned to patrol.

Officer was requested by the Plain City Zoning Officer to stand-by while he issued zoning violation paperwork to William Channell. The paperwork was issued without incident. Officer then returned to patrol.

Officer was advised of a loose dog running in the area of Maple Street and West Main Street.  Canine owner was given a warning for the loose dog and the dog warden was also notified because Officer did not notice any tags on the dog. After the dog was secured, Officer returned to patrol.

Officers responded to the listed location in reference to a suicide threat. Once the mother transported subject to Children’s Hospital both units returned to patrol.

He also advised that they did not shoot towards the neighborhood at any time. During the interaction Officer also observed the parties shooting in a safe direction, being eastbound. Officer then returned to patrol.

Officers were dispatched to the listed location in reference to a fight between two males.  Officer advised Joseph Brown he was being arrested for Assault and Disorderly Conduct. Officer transported Joseph to Tri-County Jail while another Officer stood by on scene and spoke with the victim and witnesses.  Refer to case for further.
