11/8/2019 12:26 PM Domestic Dispute Maple St. Officer was dispatched to the listed location in reference to a domestic dispute. The caller advised that hi ex-wife was arguing over property. Upon arrival, Officer met with both parties. Caller advised they are divorced but live together and ex-wife keeps accusing caller of moving her stuff around. Both agreed to separate for the day and talk once they've calmed down. Upon determining everything to be okay, Officer returned to patrol.   Approved
11/8/2019 1:24 PM Miscellaneous - Unclassified Jefferson St. Officer was dispatched to the listed location in reference to unwanted calls. Upon arrival, Officer met with the caller who advised she keeps getting phone calls from different soliciting companies and wanted to know what she could do. Officer advised caller that Officer understood her concern and advised her to contact the Federal Trade Commission and file a complaint on the companies. Officer provided caller the contact number and advised her that they will communicate with the companies on her behalf. Caller thanked Officer for the information and advised she will have her son call for her later. Officer then returned to patrol.   Approved
11/8/2019 3:30 PM Bad Checks West Main St. Officer met with owner at the listed location. Owner advised Officer that subject had written two checks that were returned Non-Sufficient Funds. Owner requested that Officer make contact with subject about the issue. Officer made contact with subject at her residence and advised her of the checks. Subject was given until 11/15/2019 to pay them in full or she could face criminal charges. Officer will follow-up with owner on that date to verify that subject has taken care of them. 11/8/2019 3:30 PM Bad Checks West Main St. Officer met with owner at the listed location.  Owner advised Officer that subject had written two checks that were returned Non-Sufficient Funds. Owner requested that Officer make contact with subject about the issue. Officer made contact with subject at his residence and advised him of the checks. Subject was given until 11/15/2019 to pay them in full or he could face criminal charges. 11/8/2019 7:06 PM Assist Other Agency SR 161 W  Officer was requested by the UCSO to assist with a deer crash that occurred on SR 161 west of the Village limits with possible injury involved. Officer stood-by until UCSO Deputy arrived.  Officer then returned to patrol.   Pending
11/8/2019 10:52 PM Traffic Stop West Main St. Officers observed a 2012 Hyundai sedan traveling westbound at a high rate of speed.  Officers conducted a traffic stop at W. Main St. and Converse Dr.  Officers then made contact with Latoria Williams.  Ms. Williams was issued a citation for speed. Officers then returned to patrol.   Pending
11/8/2019 11:44 AM Failure to Pay West Main St. Officer responded to the listed location in reference to a drive off. Upon arrival, Officer spoke with employee at listed location who advised a black Honda Civic got fuel and left without paying.  Officer later made contact with the vehicle owner's boyfriend.  Boyfriend advised that he would go to the listed location and take care of it.  Later, Officer made contact with business and learned that boyfriend had paid for the fuel.   Marathon/Lovejoy Food Mart Pending
11/9/2019 8:18 PM Non-Injury Hitskip South Chillicothe St. Officer responded to Carriage Dr in reference to a non-injury hit-skip that occurred in front of the listed location between 5:00PM and 8:00PM. Upon arrival, Officer spoke with vehicle owner who advised Officer her vehicle was parked in front of the listed location. Vehicle owner advised she came out to her vehicle and found her driver side mirror broken. Officer took photographs of the damage. Officer surveyed the scene where the incident occurred to see if there was any debris in the roadway.  Officer then returned to patrol.   Pending
11/9/2019 12:14 AM Suspicious Circumstances West Bigelow Ave. Officer observed the rear hatch of a gold Chevy Terrain standing open. 11/9/2019 4:01 AM Assist Other Agency SR 736  Officer responded to the listed location at the request of the Union County Sheriff's Office in reference to an alarm drop. Once assistance was no longer needed, Officer returned to patrol.   Approved
11/9/2019 5:35 PM Parking Complaint Alderwood Cir. Officer was on patrol when Officer observed a silver Volkswagon SUV parked at the listed location.  The vehicle was parked over a foot from the curb and facing against the traffic flow. Officer made contact with the vehicle driver who was advised to move the vehicle. Vehicle owner did without incident. Vehicle owner was given a warning for the parking violation. Officer then returned to patrol.   Pending

11/10/2019 1:25 PM Assist Other Agency Hickory Ridge Rd. Officer was requested by the Union County Sheriff's Office to respond with their units in reference to a possible domestic violence incident at the listed location. Once assistance was no longer needed, Officer returned to patrol.   Pending
11/10/2019 6:45 PM 911 Unknown Red Knot Ct. Officer responded to the listed location in reference to a 911 unknown. Upon arrival, Officer made contact with the caller who stated that he was playing on his phone when it accidentally dialed 911. Caller stated that his parents had just left the residence to take their dog for a walk. Officer made contact with caller's mother who thanked Officer for notifying her and stated that she would return home shortly. After determining everything checked okay, Officer returned to patrol.   Pending
11/10/2019 8:09 PM Suspicious Person/Vehicle Village Blvd. Officer observed a black Ford SUV driving slow around the Plain City Druggist. Officer made contact with the driver of the vehicle who stated that he was practicing his driving skills in the area. His mother, a valid driver, was a passenger and helping him with his driving. After speaking with both parties it did not appear any criminal activity was afoot. Officer then returned to patrol. Hydro Spray Car Wash Pending
11/10/2019 9:04 PM 911 Follow-up Fairfield Dr. Officer was dispatched to the area on a 911-only, wireless hang-up. Madison County Dispatch advised that the call plotted to the area around Madison Square Apartments. Upon arrival, Officer was unable to locate the source of the call or any other signs of distress or emergency in the area. Officer spoke with a couple of residents and they did not hear anything out of the ordinary. Officer then returned to patrol.   Pending
11/10/2019 11:52 PM Suspicious Circumstances Gay St. Officer was on patrol when Officer observed a 2011 Ford tow truck parked on Gay St near W. Main St. with its parking lights on. It was secured. Officer contacted the company and left a voicemail of Officer's findings. Officer then returned to patrol.   Pending
11/10/2019 11:54 PM Suspicious Circumstances West Bigelow Ave. Officer was on patrol when Officer observed a 2013 blue Honda Civic with its interior light on. Officer made contact with the registered owner's father. Father advised vehicle owner must have left it on by accident. Officer then returned to patrol.   Pending
11/11/2019 10:21 PM Assist Other Agency SR 161  Officer responded to the listed location at the request of the Union County Sheriff's Office in reference to a disabled vehicle. Once assistance was no longer needed, Officer returned to patrol.   Pending
