11/1/2019 10:00 PM Suspicious Circumstances East Main St. Officers responded to the parking lot of the police department in reference to a road rage incident. Upon arrival, Officer made contact with driver operating a 2003 Acura 2-door sedan and his vehicle occupant. Additional Officers made contact with other parties. All parties advised there was a Lexus or Mercedes sedan following them. They advised the vehicle tried passing the Acura at a high rate of speed and was also tailgating.  Upon further investigation, it was learned that the Acura driver was driving outside of his temporary driver's license permit without an adult driver. Officer made contact with driver's mother, to make her aware of the incident.  Acura driver was issued a citation for Probationary License- Driving Without a Parent Restriction. Acura driver was released from the scene with his passenger, a valid driver.    Pending
11/2/2019 1:31 PM 911 Follow-up South Jefferson Ave. Officer was dispatched to the listed location in reference to a 911 follow up. Dispatch advised that a small juvenile had been playing with the phone. Upon arrival, Officer found that resident was gone. Officer then spoke with resident by phone and confirmed everything was okay. Officer then returned to patrol. Dollar General Store Pending
11/2/2019 11:50 AM Well-being Check Willow Creek Ct. Officer was dispatched to the listed location on a well-being check. The caller advised dispatch that his neighbor's dog has been out all morning and it is not like them to leave him out so long. Upon arrival, Officer attempted contact and found no one was home. Dispatch was able to make contact with the homeowner who advised she forgot to bring the canine inside before going to a swim meet. Homeowner advised she was almost home and would get the dog inside. Officer then spoke with caller and advised caller of Officer's findings. Caller thanked Officer for checking, Officer then returned to patrol.   Pending
11/2/2019 9:18 AM 911 Follow-up West Ave. Officer was dispatched to the listed location in reference to a 911 follow up. Dispatch advised they spoke with the caller who advised it was accidental. Upon arrival, Officer met with the caller who confirmed that everything was okay and apologized. Officer then returned to patrol.   Approved
11/2/2019 2:35 AM Drunk Driver Maple St. Officers were dispatched to the listed location in reference to an intoxicated female. The caller advised he observed a female, he believed was intoxicated, running around the exterior of his home. The caller then advised the female left in a silver 2012 Chevy SUV  and he followed it in his personal vehicle. Officer then arrived on scene and made contact with Sunya Heflin, sitting in the driver's seat of the Chevy SUV crying. During the investigation, Sunya was placed under arrest for OVI.  Sunya was issued a citation for OVI and OVI-Super Concentrated. Her vehicle was secured at the location per Sunya's request. Sunya was released to a friend at his residence.   Pending
11/2/2019 12:18 AM Suspicious Circumstances Buckboard Ln. Officer was on patrol when Officer observed an interior light on for a red 1992 Chevy Pickup.  Officer attempted to make contact with the registered owner but was unsuccessful. It was also unable to be secured, which appeared to be the reason for the interior light on. Officer left a business card on the vehicle advising it was found unlocked, with the light on. Officer then returned to patrol.   Pending
11/3/2019 7:41 PM Suspicious Person/Vehicle West Second Ave. On the stated date and time while on patrol Officer observed a white Toyota Corolla parked in the parking lot of the listed location. Officer made contact with the driver of the vehicle who stated that he was eating food he had just picked up from McDonald's. There was a large bag of McDonald's food on the center console of the vehicle. Officer advised driver he should eat at a better lit location that is not currently closed for the season. Driver agreed and drove to another location. Officer then returned to patrol. Plain City Aquatic Center Pending

11/3/2019 2:25 PM Recovered/Found Property North Mechanic St. Officer was met on station by subject who advised that he had found an Ohio Identification Card on N. Mechanic St. Officer contacted the owner's mother and advised her that the ID was at the Police Department. Mother advised that she would contact her daughter and advise her to pick it up at the station.   Pending
11/3/2019 7:59 AM 911 Follow-up Surrey Ct. Officer was dispatched to the listed location in reference to a 911 follow up. Dispatch advised they were unable to speak with anyone on call back. Upon arrival, Officer met with the resident.  Resident confirmed that everything was okay and advised his kids had been playing on the phone. Resident apologized for the incident, Officer then returned to patrol.   Pending
