11/5/2019 5:42 PM Failure to Pay West Main St. Officer was dispatched to the listed location in reference to a drive off of gasoline. The caller advised that an unknown person drove off in a black truck unknown make or model after getting $80.21in gasoline. Upon arrival to the area, Officer did not locate the vehicle. Officer then met with the caller while other Officers continued to check the area.  Mike's Pit Stop Returned
11/5/2019 2:38 PM Miscellaneous - Unclassified East Bigelow Ave. Officer responded to the listed location in reference to wires down in the resident's back yard. Upon arrival, Officer found the wires to be telephone lines. Officer checked with the houses in the immediate area and nobody had any loss of service.  The address and the pole number was relayed to dispatch who was going to contact the appropriate utility company. The wire was moved to the back edge of the property. Officer then returned to patrol.   Approved
11/5/2019 2:08 PM Non-Injury Crash US Rt. 42 N  Officer was dispatched to US42N north of SR161W for a possible injury crash. Upon arrival, Officer learned it was a non-injury crash involving two semis. Unit 1, a 2015 Volvo Semi hauling a trailer was southbound on US42N when it struck Unit 2, a 2019 Freightliner Semi hauling a trailer, from behind. This caused disabling damage to Unit 1. Unit 2's trailer received disabling damage as well.  Officer spoke with the driver of Unit 1, Coryell Stephenson, and learned that Unit 2 slowed way down with no brake lights coming on.  Unit 1 then struck the rear of Unit 2. The driver of Unit 1 was later issued a citation for Assured Clear Distance Ahead (PC Ord.# 333.03A)   Returned
11/5/2019 12:44 AM Assist Other Agency SR 161  Officer responded to the listed location at the request of the Union County Sheriff's Office in reference to an alarm drop.  Once assistance was no longer needed, Officer returned to patrol. Wendy's Approved
11/5/2019 12:27 AM Recovered/Found Property South Chillicothe St. Officer was on patrol when Officer observed a backpack on the playground of the listed location. Officer checked the backpack and found identification.  Officer made contact with the subject's husband.  Officer returned the property.  Officer then returned to patrol. 11/5/2019 12:12 AM Suspicious Circumstances Fanshell Dr. Officer was on patrol when Officer observed a red 2008 Hyundai SUV with the interior light on at the listed location. Officer then checked the vehicle and attempted to make contact with the vehicle owner, but was unsuccessful.  Officer then left a business card on the vehicle and to contact the police department with any issues. Officer then returned to patrol.   Pending
11/5/2019 12:05 AM Parking Complaint Alderwood Cir. S Officer was on patrol when Officer observed a light blue 2014 Hyundai Sonata parked on the northside of the roadway, which is prohibited. Officer then made contact with the vehicle owner at the listed location. The vehicle was moved without issue. Officer then returned to patrol.   Pending
