10/29/2019 7:36 PM Juvenile West South St. Officer responded to the listed location in reference to a stolen vehicle. Upon arrival, Officer made contact with the caller who stated that her son took her vehicle and left the residence without her permission.  Officer attempted to make contact with son via public service but was sent to voicemail. A short time later, son then returned Officer's call. Son stated that he was upset with his mother and agreed to return to the residence. Once son returned to the residence he spoke with his mother and agreed to follow her rules. Officer advised mother of the proper steps to follow if son's actions continued.  Officer returned to patrol.   Pending
10/29/2019 5:23 PM Dog Bite West South St. Officer responded to the listed location in reference to a dog bite. Upon arrival, Officer made contact with the caller who stated that she was jogging on Gay Street, when two dogs ran up to her. Caller stated that she stopped running so the dogs would not chase her. Caller stated that a white pit mix then bit her left outer thigh causing a small puncture mark. Caller stated that the dog's owner took the dogs inside. immediately, after the bite and that she did not speak with him. Officer then made contact with homeowner at his residence. Homeowner stated that the dog belonged to his son but that he was not home. Officer then explained to homeowner the dog quarantine information. Homeowner stated that he understood and would keep the dog quarantined. Officer attempted to make contact with dog owner via public service but was sent to voicemail. Officer then returned to patrol.  A copy of this report and forms will be forwarded to the Madison County Health Department and the Madison County Dog Warden.   Pending
