10/1/2019 11:18 PM Miscellaneous - Unclassified US Rt. 42 N  Officer was on patrol when Officer observed a male riding a bicycle northbound on US 42 near West Main Street. The subject was in dark clothing and extremely hard to see. Officer made contact with the subject who advised he just dropped off his vehicle at Taylor Auto body and was riding to a residence on Mitchell-Dewitt Road. Subject was able to turn his cell phone flashlight on to remain visible and was instructed to ride as far away from the road as possible. Officer then returned to patrol.   Pending
10/1/2019 9:09 PM Miscellaneous - Unclassified Fairfield Dr. Officer was dispatched to the listed location in reference to possible telephone harassment complaint. Upon arrival, Officer met with the caller and her son.  Officer learned that son had recently broken up with subject and subject messaged the caller,  tonight asking the caller to tell son he owes subject money. Caller did not wish to pursue the incident.  Caller just wanted Officer to advised subject not to message her anymore.  Officer left a voicemail for subject advising subject not to contact caller anymore. Officer  then returned to patrol.     Pending
10/1/2019 7:38 PM Well-being Check North Chillicothe St. Officer was dispatched to the listed location in reference to a well-being check on an elderly male. The caller advised that he met an elderly male that did not have a place to stay for the night. The caller advised that he rented the subject a camping spot at the park and would like Officer to meet with the subject to ensure he is okay and not missing from anywhere. Officer made contact with the subject who advised he is just out walking around America preaching the Lord's Gospel.  Officer also made contact with subject's daughter.  Upon speaking with subject's daughter, she confirmed what subject was advising Officer. Upon determining everything to be okay, Officer returned to patrol. Pastime Park Pending
10/1/2019 6:33 PM Miscellaneous - Unclassified West Main St. Officer was dispatched to the listed location in reference a male reporting damage to his vehicle. Upon arrival, Officer met with the caller who advised Officer that he delivers papers throughout central Ohio and just noticed the damage. Caller advised Officer that he is certain the damage did not happen in Plain City.  Caller stated he just needs a report for insurance. Officer advised caller that Officer was unable to take a report for damage that did not happen here. Officer referred caller to the Delaware Ohio Police Department since that is where the caller believes it occurred. Officer then returned to patrol. Marathon/Lovejoy Food Mart Pending
10/1/2019 3:55 PM Well-being Check North Ave. Officer was dispatched to the listed location in reference to a well-being check.  The caller advised she has not spoken to her daughter in two weeks and would like her checked on. Upon arrival, Officer found that subject was not home. Officer then spoke with the apartment manager and learned that subject was in a treatment center seeking treatment. Officer then returned to patrol.  Officer later contacted the caller by phone and relayed Officer's findings to her as well as the contact number for the treatment center.   Pending
10/1/2019 2:24 PM Well-being Check Foster St. Officer responded to the listed location at the request of Madison County Adult Probation Officer in reference to a well-being check. MCAPO advised that subject has been making strange comments and would like an Officer to meet with subject. Upon arrival, Officer spoke with subject who appeared to be okay and was not making any strange comments. Officer then spoke with subject's mother and relayed the information from probation. Subject's mother advised that she has not noticed any strange comments but would call if subject starts acting weird. Officer then returned to patrol.   Pending
