Traffic Stop

South Jefferson Ave.

Officer initiated a traffic stop on a vehicle with a handwritten vehicle registration displayed. Contact was made with the driver, who had a suspended driver's license. Subsequently, Robert Kegg, 63, of Columbus, was issued citations for  FRA Suspension, No Valid OL, and Fictitious Tags. The vehicle was towed to the police Impound Lot.

Neighbor Dispute

North Ave.

Officer responded on a complaint of a neighbor dispute. The parties were separated and advised to remain calm and avoid contact with each other.

Parking Complaint

Grant Ave.

Officer responded on a parking complaint, made contact with the vehicle owner, who advised the vehicles would be moved as soon as possible. The officer also advised of possible zoning violations if the vehicles weren't moved.

Non-Injury Crash

South Jefferson Ave.

Officer responded on a non-injury crash on S. Jefferson Ave, when a vehicle failed to yield to oncoming traffic. Subsequently, Jeffrey Barry, 62, of Plain City, was issued a citation for Failure to Yield. One vehicle had to be towed from the scene.

Abandoned Vehicle

South Jefferson Ave.

Officer responded on a complaint of an abandoned vehicle at the listed location. A short time later, Kirby's Towing arrived on scene and towed the vehicle to the police Impound Lot.

Officer responded on a parking complaint, made contact with the owner, who advised the vehicle would be moved as soon as possible.

Officers responded to a complaint of an unruly juvenile. After speaking with the juvenile, the officers advised of possible consequences. Once determining everything was fine, they returned to patrol.

Converse Ave.

Officers were requested for a civil standby while a tenant gathered their belongings. Once they were no longer needed, the officers returned to patrol.

US Rt. 33

Officer was requested to assist the Union County Sheriff's Office with a pursuit on US 33 Eastbound. Once the officer was no longer needed, he returned to patrol.
