Officers were dispatched to the listed location in reference to an open door. Upon arrival, Officer checked with caller who advised the door was locked by deadbolt prior to caller leaving and when caller returned to residence it was open. Officers conducted a search of the residence. It checked clear. While speaking with caller a neighbor advised she saw a younger white male bending the window screen and trying to gain entry into the apartment. The juvenile later was identified as a juvenile the caller babysits.  Caller advised that if juvenile was in the residence that caller did not want to pursue with any charges but requested juvenile was given a warning and advised to make better decisions.  Later, Officer made contact with the juvenile and his mother.  Juvenile advised he did enter the residence, but did not take anything. Juvenile was given a warning for Breaking and Entering. Officer then returned to patrol.

Miscellaneous - Unclassified

South Chillicothe St.

Officer was flagged down near the listed location in reference to found prescription medications. Complainant advised that she found medication while assisting to take care of her friend.  While cleaning up, she found loose medicine and did not feel comfortable leaving it out due to other circumstances (See OIR: 19-0641 for further), she took the medications to avoid anyone other than her friend taking the medicine. Officer held onto the medications until they could be returned, due to another call for service.  At 2245 Hrs, Officer made contact with all parties involved.  The medications were returned to the residence. Complainant was advised not to take medications from the residence, even with the circumstances from the previous incidents.

Harassment/Menacing

South Jefferson Ave.

Officer was dispatched to the listed location in reference to a harassment complaint. Upon arrival, Officer made contact with complainant who stated that since she started working at the store around September 2018, a customer has been making inappropriate sexual comments to her. Complainant stated these comments have gotten more personal and inappropriate with personal information complainant did not give him. Complainant requested Officer make contact with subject and advise subject not to make sexual or inappropriate comments to complainant.  

A short time later, Officer made contact with subject. Subject was warned not to make sexual or inappropriate comments to complainant. Subject stated he understood and Officer returned to patrol.

Suspicious Circumstances

North Ave.

On the stated date and time, Office was on patrol when Officer observed an open truck at the listed location. Officer checked the vehicle and did not see anything out of the ordinary. Officer made contact with the registered owner at his residence. Truck owner advised he must've forgotten to close the trunk after unloading his things. It was then secured and Officer returned to patrol.
