911 Follow-up

John St.

Officer was dispatched in reference to a 911 follow-up. The cellular device used only had 911 capabilities and mapped to the listed location. Officer made contact with the homeowner, who advised he didn't recognize the number. Officer canvassed the area and nothing seemed out of the ordinary.

Telecom Harassment

West Main St.

Officer was dispatched in reference to a possible telecommunications harassment complaint. The complainant advised she received a call from an unknown caller and inappropriate comments were made to her. After further investigation, the comments were not criminal in nature however, the officer advised the complainant to not take any other calls from the number.

Alarm Drop

Officer was dispatched for an alarm drop. While enroute, officer was notified a keyholder was on scene and the officer was not needed.

Driving Complaint

Gay St.

Officer was dispatched in reference to a driving complaint. The complainant, advised that he was almost struck by a wrong way driver on Gay Street.  A small tan 4-door sedan, was traveling northbound on Gay Street at a high rate of speed. An incident report was taken and a description of the vehicle was given, so the officers could be on the lookout for it.

Assist Other Agency

US Rt. 42 S

Officer was requested to assist Madison County Sheriff’s Office with traffic detail for an injury accident. Once the officer's assistance was no longer needed, he returned to patrol.

Open Door

West Main St.

Officer found a door unsecured after hours at the listed location. After further investigation, nothing seemed out of the ordinary and the door was secured.
