4/16/2013	9:54 PM	Drunk	West South St.	On the stated date and time an officer responded to South Chillicothe St. and East South St. in regards to a possible drunk driver complaint. The officer was also dispatched to a non-injury hit skip crash on private property at the listed location involving the same vehicle. Upon arrival and further investigation Lenda L. Boggs, 49yoa of Plain City was arrested and charged with OVI and leaving the scene of an accident. She was transported to Tri-County Regional Jail.
4/17/2013	1:20 AM	Criminal Damaging	SR 161 W	On the listed date and time, an officer was transporting a prisoner to Tri-County Jail. The prisoner began to attempt to cause damage to the cage screen and rear window. Lenda L. Boggs, 49yoa of Plain City was charged with Criminal Mischief.
4/17/2013	8:54 AM	Non-Injury Crash/Private	South Jefferson Ave.	On this date and time, an officer responded to the listed address on the report of a non-injury crash. that occurred in the parking lot. The parties exchanged information.
4/17/2013	10:07 AM	Driving Complaint	South Jefferson Ave.	On this date and time, an officer responded to a report of a driving complaint involving a dark blue Volkswagen Jetta that was all over the roadway. The officer located the vehicle and initiated a traffic stop. The driver was not impaired, but admitted they were looking at their phone.

A report was forwarded to the probation department. The suspect has previously been charged with the same offense.
4/17/2013	11:54 PM	Loud Noise/Disturbance	West Main St.	On the stated date and time an officer responded to the listed location in regards to a loud noise complaint. Upon arrival the source of the complaint was gone.

Upon further investigation the party was located and paid for their fuel. The business owner did not wish to pursue with charges because it was believed to be a misunderstanding.

4/18/2013	1:10 PM	Theft in Progress	Gay St.	On the above date and time, an officer responded to the listed location in reference to an active shoplifting complaint. The owner declined charges and advised the suspect that they were no longer permitted in the business.

4/19/2013	9:07 AM	Alarm Drop	West Main St.	On the above date and time, I was dispatched to the listed location in reference to an alarm drop. Upon my arrival, it was determined to be an employee error. After concluding everything to be fine, I returned to patrol.
4/19/2013	2:31 PM	Assist Other Agency	North Ave.	On the listed date and time an officer responded to the listed location to meet with UCDOJFS. A child was removed from the residence due to violation of a safety plan.
4/19/2013	4:38 PM	Domestic Dispute	Doe St.	On the listed date and time an officer responded to the listed location in reference to a domestic dispute. Both parties had called in reference to the other. No violence or threats were made. Both parties were warned regarding their actions.
4/20/2013	8:20 AM	Assist Other Agency	US 42 NE	On the listed date and time an officer was requested by the UCSO as back up to the listed location. The units were going to be approaching  a subject because of an involuntary commitment order that had been issued due to his unstable mental state. The suspect was taken into custody after the deployment of a TASER.
4/20/2013	9:53 AM	Assist Other Agency	Warner Rd.	On the listed date and time an officer responded to the listed location per the request of UCSO in reference to a 911 hang up. Dispatch advised that on call back, someone answered and hung up. Upon arrival it was determined to be an accidental pocket dial.
4/20/2013	1:32 PM	Assist Other Agency	US Rt. 33	On the listed date and time an officer was requested by the Union County Sheriff's Office to check the area of US 42 north of Plain City in reference to a man threatening suicide via phone. This call came in from Columbus Police Department. Note: The man was speaking to his wife, who in turn called 911 and spoke to Columbus Police Department. A UCSO deputy located vehicle at US 33 Rest Area. Upon my arrival there I assisted in taking the suspect into custody without incident while units from the Union County Sheriff's Office provided cover. When my assistance was no longer needed, I returned to patrol. Note: A 45 caliber handgun was located inside the vehicle.
4/20/2013	4:33 PM	Assist Other Agency	SR 161 E	On this date and time, an officer responded to the listed address as backup for the Madison County Sheriff's Office in reference to an activated motion alarm. Upon arrival everything checked secure.
4/20/2013	4:48 PM	Alarm Drop	South Jefferson Ave.	On the stated date and time an officer responded to the listed location in regards to an alarm drop. Upon arrival the officer checked the perimeter of the building and found everything secure.
4/20/2013	10:43 PM	Domestic Dispute	North Ave.	On stated date and time, an officer was dispatched to the listed location in regards to a domestic dispute complaint. Dispatch further advised an anonymous neighbor can hear arguing coming from the apartment upstairs. Upon arrival the parties agreed to separate for the evening due to their intoxication levels.
4/21/2013	3:55 AM	Suspicious Circumstances	Michael St.	On this date and time, an officer responded to the listed address on the report of suspicious circumstances. The complainant advised that someone was shining red lights in through her bedroom window. Upon arrival and further investigation everything checked okay.
4/21/2013	4:13 AM	Non-Injury Crash	East Main St.	On this date and time, an officer responded to the listed location on the report of a non-injury crash. The juvenile driver of the vehicle, had been picked up from the scene and transported home by his mother. It was discovered he fell asleep and struck a parked car. He was charged with ACDA and probationary drivers license curfew violation.
4/21/2013	1:34 PM	911 Unknown	West Ave.	On the listed date and time an officer responded to the listed location in reference to a 911 follow up. Upon my arrival it was discovered a small child was playing with the phone.
4/21/2013	3:45 PM	Animal Complaint - Other	Carriage Dr.	On the listed date and time, an officer was dispatched to 600 Carriage Drive in reference to a loose dog. The dog was returned to the owner and a warning given for it running at large.
4/21/2013	10:30 PM	Theft - Misdemeanor	West South St.	On the stated date and time an officer spoke with a complainant via telephone in regards to a theft complaint at the listed location. Upon further investigation it was discovered that another family member had removed the property and returned the property.
4/22/2013	2:15 PM	Criminal Damaging	Smucker Ln.	On this date and time, an officer met with a complainant who wished to pursue charges to a  neighbor for cutting their tulips. The prosecutor declined charges and the suspect was warned.
4/22/2013	2:27 PM	Domestic Dispute	North Ave.	On this date and time, officers responded to the listed address on the report of a domestic disturbance. Upon arrival it was determined that no threats or violence had occurred. The parties agreed to separate.

4/23/2013	1:47 AM	Psychiatric Behavior	West Main St.	On the listed date and time, an officer was on patrol on West Bigelow Avenue when they observed a white Cadillac parked at the rear of the listed location. Upon further investigation  was discovered the occupant was having a psychiatric episode. Contact was made with a family member and they responded to pick up the party.
4/23/2013	5:09 AM	Alarm Drop	West Main St.	On the listed date and time, an officer was on foot patrol in the downtown area when they heard an activated alarm at the listed location. It was determined to be an employee error and the officer returned to foot patrol.
4/23/2013	2:00 PM	Drugs - Other	West Main St.	On the listed date and time, an anonymous tip was received regarding possible drugs being hidden at a location on West Main. The item was recovered an a case is pending.

4/27/2013	12:03 AM	Loud Noise/Disturbance	Jackson St.	On the stated date and time, an officer was dispatched to the area of the listed location in reference to a loud noise complaint. Upon arrival contact was made and they party turned down the music and stopped the chain-saw for the evening.

4/27/2013	2:39 AM	Loud Noise/Disturbance	Shepper Ave.	On the stated date and time an officer was dispatched to the listed location in regards to a loud music complaint. Upon arrival contact was made with the party and they turned the music down.
4/27/2013	3:05 AM	911 Unknown	Plumwood Ct.	On the stated date and time an officer was dispatch to the listed location in regards to a 911 unknown. Dispatch further advised it was a cell 911 unknown and plotted in the back yard of the listed location. Upon my arrival I met with the resident who advised she mistakenly called 911. After determining everything to be fine I returned to patrol.
4/27/2013	8:02 PM	Juvenile Complaint	West South St.	On the stated date and time, an officer was flagged down by a complainant, who wished to remain anonymous, that a juvenile was shooting a BB gun at the listed location. The complainant advised that this is an ongoing problem and they were concerned that someone could get injured. Contact was made with the parent and juvenile and they were given a warning and advised that BB guns were not permitted to be shot in the village.
4/27/2013	11:57 PM	Vandalism	Central Ave.	On the stated date and time an officer was dispatched to the listed location in regards to a vandalism complaint. A report was taken.
4/28/2013	12:57 PM	Drunk	West Main St.	On the listed date and time an officer was dispatched to the rear of the listed location in reference to a suspicious person. The caller advised that a woman was laying in the grass near Carlisle Avenue. Upon arrival the suspect was located and found to be severely intoxicated. A medic was called to the scene to transport the suspect. She will be issued a summons later for DOC/Intoxication.
4/28/2013	8:35 PM	Well-being Check	Central Ave.	On the stated date and time, an officer was dispatched to the listed location in reference to a well being check. Upon arrival, they advised the person  did not reside at this residence.
4/29/2013	1:38 PM	Alarm Drop	Gay St.	On the above date and time, an officer responded to the listed location in reference to an alarm drop. Upon my arrival, the officer found the residence to be secure and nothing appeared out of the usual.
4/29/2013	3:53 PM	Neighbor Dispute	Central Ave.	On this date and time, an officer responded to the listed location in reference to a dispute with their neighbors.  All parties were encouraged to avoid contact with one another.
4/29/2013	4:46 PM	Solicitor	Willow Creek Dr.	On the above date and time, an officer observed a male subject engaged in what appeared to be door to door solicitation. I made contact with the subject and confirmed he was a solicitor. He was given a warning for soliciting without a permit and instructed how to get one.
