Once the unknown male saw Officer, he ran westbound through an unnamed alley and westbound towards Maple Court. Officer followed the male subject but lost him once suspect went through an unknown residence's yard on Maple Court. Officer made contact with vehicle owner, who advised nothing appeared to be stolen or out of place. Officer patrolled Gay Street and was unable to detect any of the vehicles were tampered with. 04-Aug-21	2:22:00 AM	Suspicious Circumstances	West First Ave.	Officer observed the rear passenger door to a red 2020 Toyota wide open.  Vehicle owner checked his vehicle and did not observe anything missing. Vehicle owner advised he thinks he forgot to shut it after getting something out of the vehicle yesterday evening.		Approved

The vehicle struck an overhanging sign for the business causing damage to the sign. 06-Aug-21	7:06:00 PM	Fire	East Main St.	Officer was dispatched in reference to a large outside fire.  Subject was burning hard wood floor plank from a house he was renovating.  Subject was advised that he couldn't burn anything with chemicals and educated on size of the fire.  PVFD was comfortable with letting the fire burn out.  After determining everything to be fine, all units returned to patrol. 06-Aug-21	7:23:00 PM	Warrant - Misdemeanor	North Chillicothe St.	Officer conducted a routine registration check on a white Ford sedan traveling southbound on North Chillicothe St near Pastime Park. The registration returned to Amber Buchanan, a wanted person. Amber had an active misdemeanor warrant out of the Delaware County Sheriff's Office for a probation violation.   Amber was transported to 5200 US 42 N, where she was released to DCSO Deputy. 07-Aug-21	10:21:00 PM	Drunk	East West Ave.	Officers responded to the listed location in reference to a suicide attempt.  Medics arrived on scene to evaluated subject, but subject refused service.  Subject was released to the custody of a friend. 07-Aug-21	12:21:00 AM	Trespasser	West Main St.	The listed location's manager advised she wanted subject to be trespassed from the property indefinitely due to his cussing and vulgar language towards staff. 07-Aug-21	6:27:00 PM	Storm Damage	South Chillicothe St.	Officer observed a large tree branch that had fallen in front of the listed location.  Upon arrival, Officer observed an Ohio Edison employee already on the scene.  He advised that the branch had fallen and pulled the service from the residence.  He was there to restore the service.  He also advised that part of the branch was stuck in the power lines.  He had already contacted their tree trimming service to take care of that.  The Public Works Department arrived on the scene and cleaned up the portion that was on the ground.  See media for further information. 07-Aug-21	5:24:00 PM	Storm Damage	South Chillicothe St.	Officer responded to the parking lot of the listed location in reference to a tree that had fallen on a vehicle.  Engine 261 personnel and Officer cleared the tree off of the vehicle. 07-Aug-21	5:20:00 PM	Road Hazard	East South St.	Officer observed a large tree blocking the roadway on East South St near Central Ave. Station 261 personnel and Officer were able to remove the tree from the roadway. Officer then returned to patrol.		Approved
07-Aug-21	5:10:00 PM	Road Hazard	Central Ave.	Officer responded near the listed location with Station 261 personnel in reference to wires down in the roadway. 261 personnel advised Officer it was just a phone line and that they notified the phone company. 261 also placed cones on the roadway to deter traffic. 07-Aug-21	4:55:00 PM	Storm Damage	North Ave.	Officer was dispatched to a report of a fallen tree onto a house. Officer arrived on scene and contacted the caller, who stated that a tree at the rear of her property fell over, blocking the alley just east of her residence,zoo and fell on top of the listed location. Officer made contact with the tenant to the listed location.  Officer advised tenant of the damage and the street department was also notified.		Pending
07-Aug-21	4:49:00 PM	Storm Damage	West Main St.	Officer was dispatched to the listed location in reference to a tree that had fallen into the roadway.  Upon my arrival, Officer observed a large branch that had fallen from a tree in the front yard of the listed location.  The tree landed on top of a grey Acura.  The branch was also blocking the westbound lane of West Main Street.  With assistance from the Public Works Department, the roadway was cleared.  The branch also damaged the roof/gutter to 306 West Main Street and the tenant was going to notify the landlord.  See media for further information. 07-Aug-21	7:19:00 AM	Animal Complaint - Other	South Chillicothe St.	Officer was on patrol when Officer observed a black and brown female Labrador running on South Chillicothe Street in the area of the flat iron. I took possession of the dog and secured in the police department kennel with food and water. I then returned to patrol.   08/08/2021 1441 hours Officer met with the dog owner and returned his dog to him. Dog owner was warned for dogs running at large and advised to ensure this does not occur again.		Pending
