Officer received a call in reference to two juveniles driving
recklessly on a golf cart. Upon arrival, Officer made contact with mother and
juveniles and explained to them that the golf cart was not permitted in the
park unless it complies with all state regulations making golf carts street
legal. Officer also advised the golf cart could then only be operated by
someone with a valid driver's license. The juveniles were warned for reckless
and dangerous operation of the golf cart. All parties advised they understood.

possible domestic dispute. Upon arrival, Officer made contact with the
involved parties. They stated that due to one party’s hearing they must speak
loudly so he can understand her. Officer deemed everything checked okay.

domestic dispute. Upon arrival, Officers made contact with the listed
parties. Officer spoke with all parties for several minutes and everyone was
calm. They advised that there would not be any further issues.

suspicious vehicle. Dispatch advised a black car had been seen driving down
the roadway several times in a thirty minute time span. Officer patrolled the
area but was unable to locate the vehicle. Officer deemed everything fine.

loose dog complaint. Upon arrival, Officer met with the caller who advised
that a neighbor's dog had been running loose in her yard. Officer made
contact with the dog owner and advised him of the possible consequences if
the dog continued to run loose.

Officer was contacted on station in reference to a driving
complaint. Officer made contact with the driver at his residence and spoke to
him about the incident. He advised that he did not know that he had swerved
but admitted making an obscene gesture. The driver was advised of the
possible consequences of his behavior. He apologized and the complainant did
not wish to pursue with charges at this time.

activated. Officer made contact with the vehicle driver/owner who advised the
vehicle would not operate in drive and could only move in reverse. Officer
advised the driver she could park in a nearby lot.

criminal damaging. Upon arrival, Officer met with the business owner and the
renter. After speaking with both parties, the renter offered to pay for the
damages on the spot and the business owner agreed to accept payment to pay
for the damages.

canine. An anonymous caller stated a small white canine has been running
loose for over a week. Upon arrival, Officer searched the area but the canine
could not be located.

Officer was on routine patrol and observed juveniles standing on
the side of the road waiting to cross. A dark colored vehicle had to come to
an immediate stop to avoid striking two of the juveniles. Officer then met
with the juveniles to explain to them how dangerous crossing the street can
be, and to be more careful. Officer contacted the parents and advised of the
situation.

wires in the roadway. Upon arrival, Officer learned the wires were cable
wires. Officer removed the wires from the roadway and dispatch notified

truck. Officer requested dispatch make contact with a key holder and advise
them of the incident. A short time later, dispatch advised that a message had

Officer was advised of a solicitor complaint. The caller advised
someone came to her door and were attempting to sell her new windows. She
told the subject she is on the "do not knock" registry and told him
not to come back. Upon arrival, Officer was not able locate anyone. Officer
made contact with the company via telephone and advised them not to go back
to the caller’s residence. Officer also advised on the proper steps to obtain
permits.

road hazard of a shifted steel plate. Upon arrival, Officer verified that the
plate had shifted and contacted the Plain City street department was
notified. Officer moved the large, orange sign from the side of the road and
positioned it in front of the whole warning drivers of the hazard.

and were not a hazard to traffic. Union County Sheriff’s Office arrived and
processed the crash scene.
