Officer responded to the listed location in reference to suspicious circumstances. Upon arrival, Officer checked the area and made contact with the caller’s neighbor who stated that she had accidently locked herself out and was attempting to wake up her family inside. Officer determined everything checked okay.

Officer received a call in reference to two juveniles driving recklessly on a golf cart. Upon arrival, Officer made contact with mother and juveniles and explained to them that the golf cart was not permitted in the park unless it complies with all state regulations making golf carts street legal. Officer also advised the golf cart could then only be operated by someone with a valid driver's license. The juveniles were warned for reckless and dangerous operation of the golf cart. All parties advised they understood.

Officer responded to the listed location in reference to a possible domestic dispute. Upon arrival, Officer made contact with the involved parties. They stated that due to one party’s hearing they must speak loudly so he can understand her. Officer deemed everything checked okay.

Officer was performing a business check at the listed location. Officer conducted a routine registration check on a green Ford Fusion in the parking lot. Andrew Dougherty was placed into custody for a warrant out of the Madison County Sheriff's Office for Failure to Appear.

Officer was dispatched to the listed location in reference to a domestic dispute. Upon arrival, Officers made contact with the listed parties. Officer spoke with all parties for several minutes and everyone was calm. They advised that there would not be any further issues.

Officer was dispatched to the listed location in reference to a suspicious vehicle. Dispatch advised a black car had been seen driving down the roadway several times in a thirty minute time span. Officer patrolled the area but was unable to locate the vehicle. Officer deemed everything fine.

Officer was dispatched to the listed location in reference to a loose dog complaint. Upon arrival, Officer met with the caller who advised that a neighbor's dog had been running loose in her yard. Officer made contact with the dog owner and advised him of the possible consequences if the dog continued to run loose.

Officer was contacted on station in reference to a driving complaint. Officer made contact with the driver at his residence and spoke to him about the incident. He advised that he did not know that he had swerved but admitted making an obscene gesture. The driver was advised of the possible consequences of his behavior. He apologized and the complainant did not wish to pursue with charges at this time.

Officer observed a white Ford Expedition with its hazard lights activated. Officer made contact with the vehicle driver/owner who advised the vehicle would not operate in drive and could only move in reverse. Officer advised the driver she could park in a nearby lot.

Officer was dispatched to the listed location in reference to criminal damaging. Upon arrival, Officer met with the business owner and the renter. After speaking with both parties, the renter offered to pay for the damages on the spot and the business owner agreed to accept payment to pay for the damages.

Officer responded to the listed area in reference to a loose canine. An anonymous caller stated a small white canine has been running loose for over a week. Upon arrival, Officer searched the area but the canine could not be located.

Officer was on routine patrol and observed juveniles standing on the side of the road waiting to cross. A dark colored vehicle had to come to an immediate stop to avoid striking two of the juveniles. Officer then met with the juveniles to explain to them how dangerous crossing the street can be, and to be more careful. Officer contacted the parents and advised of the situation.

Officer responded to the listed location in reference to down wires in the roadway. Upon arrival, Officer learned the wires were cable wires. Officer removed the wires from the roadway and dispatch notified Frontier Communications.

Officer observed the four way flashers activated on a US Mail truck. Officer requested dispatch make contact with a key holder and advise them of the incident. A short time later, dispatch advised that a message had been left for a key holder.

Officer observed a small brown dog running on the listed street. Officer transported the dog back to the Police Department and notified the Madison County Dog warden.

Officer conducted a routine registration check on a white Chevy Silverado. Officer made contact with the driver and his passengers. After further investigation, Patrick Shorten was transported to Tri-County Jail for a warrant through Champaign County for Failure to Appear.  James Sloat was cited for Passenger Seat Belt.

Officer was advised of a solicitor complaint. The caller advised someone came to her door and were attempting to sell her new windows. She told the subject she is on the "do not knock" registry and told him not to come back. Upon arrival, Officer was not able locate anyone.  Officer made contact with the company via telephone and advised them not to go back to the caller’s residence. Officer also advised on the proper steps to obtain permits.

Officer was dispatched to the listed location in reference to a found wallet. Upon arrival, Officer met with the caller, who advised he found property on top of his mailbox. Officer was unable to locate the property owner.

Officer was dispatched to the listed location to assist the Madison County Sheriff's Office on a missing 2 year old child. They requested additional off-road equipment.  A short time later, the child was located by a search party and safely returned home.

Officer conducted a routine registration check on a red Ford F350. Officer initiated a traffic stop with the vehicle.  Kyle Hostetler was issued a citation for No Valid Operator’s License, Driving under an Administrative License Suspension and Failure to Reinstate.

Officer was dispatched to the listed location in reference to a road hazard of a shifted steel plate. Upon arrival, Officer verified that the plate had shifted and contacted the Plain City street department was notified. Officer moved the large, orange sign from the side of the road and positioned it in front of the whole warning drivers of the hazard.

Officer responded to the listed location in reference to suspicious circumstances. The caller stated that someone had rang her door bell twice and then left the area. Upon arrival, Officer located several juveniles who admitted to ringing the door bell and running away. All juveniles parents were notified in person or via public service.

Officer was on patrol and ran a routine registration check on a 2012 black Chevrolet.  Andrew T. Mullet, was placed under arrest for three warrants out of Delaware Common Pleas Court for Election Falsification, Prohibiting Acts Concerning Declarations or Petitions and Forgery.

Officer was dispatched to the listed location in reference to a suspicious person and vehicle. Officer saw a maroon Chevy Trailblazer and made contact with the vehicle owner. She stated that she was traveling and just needed to take a quick nap before continuing. Officer deemed everything to be okay.

Officer was dispatched to the listed location to assist the Union County Sheriff's Office on a non-injury car accident. Upon arrival, Officer verified with both drivers that there were no injuries requiring medical attention. Both vehicles had been moved off the road prior to arrival and were not a hazard to traffic. Union County Sheriff’s Office arrived and processed the crash scene.

A stray dog was dropped off at the Police Station by a concerned citizen who found the dog wandering around. Officer was able to contact the dog owner and arrange pickup. The owner was advised to register her dog as soon as possible.

Officers were dispatched to the listed location in reference to a custody dispute. Officers made contact with the caller.  Officers advised her that he was not doing anything out of his rights as a parent, but that would attempt to contact him throughout the night.
