a suspicious male. Dispatch advised a male was seen behind the listed
location and appeared to be intoxicated or under the influence of drugs. Upon
arrival Officers located and made contact with the male, who was sitting down
reading a book who was neither intoxicated nor under the influence of drugs.
Officer then spoke with the owner who advised the male could stay at the
location.

Officers were flagged down and advised of a telecom scam. The female stated
someone keeps calling her claiming they are the IRS. She was advised it was a
scam, and to not give them any money. She was also advised to contact the
Ohio Attorney General’s Office.

Officer was dispatched to the listed location in reference to a
dispute. Dispatch advised a male individual had an employee from the listed
location call the police because someone was inside of the bathroom with his
phone. Upon arrival, along with a Deputy of the Union County Sheriff’s
Office, Officers were met outside by the male, who stated he had a CCW, and a
firearm was on his hip. For Officer safety purposes, the male was detained.
Just prior to Officers' arrival, he realized no one was inside of the
restroom, and his phone was still on the sink. The male was given a warning
for Disorderly Conduct and was advised he was banned from the listed
location.

respond to the listed area in reference to an injury rollover crash silver
Volkswagen. Upon arrival the vehicle was on its top in the tree line and the
victim was out of the car. Officer assisted medic personnel from station 261
until the arrival of Madison County Deputies and assistance was no longer
needed.

in the last two weeks he believes that an unknown person has been inside his
residence. Officer advised the male to contact the Police Department in the
future when these incidents occur.

Officer was dispatched to the listed location in reference to a
telecommunications harassment complaint. Upon arrival, Officer met with the
caller who advised that her ex-boyfriend has been calling and texting a
co-worker trying to talk to her. She and her co-worker requested Officer make
contact with the ex-boyfriend and advise him to stop calling. Officer made
contact with the ex-boyfriend, via public service and advised him of the
incident and he agreed to stop contacting the individuals and was advised of
the possible consequences if his actions continued.

Officer was dispatched to the field on the listed location on
the report of an abandoned vehicle. The vehicle, a black Ford F-150, was
located just inside of our jurisdiction. The vehicle had been reported stolen
out of Franklin County. The owner was contacted, but could not respond
immediately, so the vehicle was towed to our impound lot.

location. Having prior knowledge that Trevor had an entered warrant out of
the Madison County Sheriff's Office for Failure to Appear. Trevor Fillinger
was placed into custody without incident and transported to the Tri-County
Regional Jail.

parking. Officer made contact with the business and advised them of the
complaint.

Officer was dispatched to the listed location in reference to a
canine that was locked in a red SUV. Upon arrival, Officer observed a large
canine sitting on the front passenger seat. The canine abruptly got up and
showed no signs of distress. Officer determined everything to be fine and
checked a short time later and the vehicle was gone.

loose canine. Upon arrival, Officer met with the complainant. While speaking
with the complainant, the pet owner was heard calling for her dog. She was

questions concerning restitution. Upon arrival Officer made contact with the
caller who stated that approximately one year earlier her dog had been killed
by other dogs while she was in Virginia. She wanted to know what her legal
options were. Officer advised that she would need to contact the agency where
the incident occurred.

that was yelling out obscenities while walking down the roadway. Upon arrival
Officer made contact with the male who advised that he had gotten into an
argument with his mother and he was walking to a friend's house to calm down.
Officer then made contact with the mother at her residence, who stated that
her son was upset about an argument they had earlier in the day. She stated
the dispute was strictly verbal. Officers determined everything checked okay.

Officer was flagged down by a passerby in reference to a
suspicious vehicle/person at the listed location. The complainant advised
that there was a pickup parked there and a subject was walking around the
outside of it. Upon arrival, Officer observed a tan Ford Ranger parked by the
front door and made contact with the driver and passenger. They advised the
driver picked up the passenger from a friend's house and was taking him back
home when the driver's contact fell out of his right eye and was forced to pull
over. He was able to locate his contact and advised that he was okay to be
driving.

overweight vehicle stuck in traffic. Upon arrival Officer observed a tractor
trailer parked in the roadway at listed location. Officer then made contact with
the driver, who stated that due to the event downtown she was unable to
continue onto the only route she was permitted to take per ODOT. The vehicle
was subsequently parked in that location to be moved the following day.

employees out to their vehicle.

Officer was flagged down and advised that a small back hoe was
digging inside the Bicentennial Park on listed location. Upon arrival Officer
made contact with involved individuals. After investigation they were advised
to consult with Village Administrator and coordinate the work through the
village. They were also advised to contact OOPS before resuming digging to
avoid striking underground utilities.
