Officer responded to a non-injury crash on US Rt. 42N near North Chillicothe Street of a vehicle that struck a deer. The vehicle sustained heavy front end damage and had to be towed from the scene.

Officer observed two juveniles out past curfew. The juveniles were released to their parents and advised of possible consequences.

Traffic Stop

West Main St.

A traffic stop was initiated on a vehicle with a side headlight out on State Route 161, near Old State Route 161. The registration did not match the vehicle. After further investigation, Alejandro Bautista, 40, of Hilliard, was cited for Driving with a Temporary Permit, One Headlight and Fictitious Plates. The vehicle was towed to the Impound lot.

A water valve lid was found in a residents yard and turned over to the Public Works Department.

Officers responded on an alarm drop, searched the building and found nothing out of the ordinary. A keyholder was contacted and arrived on scene.
