Officer responded to a scam complaint.  The caller advised, notification was received there was an issue with her Amazon account and she released personal information. An incident report was taken and officer advised to contact the Ohio AG's office, and to be careful on what information she releases.

Officer received a complaint on a reckless driver.  After further investigation, the driver was not impaired and advised she was running late. Officer advised the driver to be more careful when driving.

Drug Paraphernalia

South Chillicothe St.

During a traffic stop, Officers cited Casey North, 38, of Richwood, and Christopher Fraker, 31, of Richwood, for Drug Abuse Instruments, Drug Paraphernalia and Possession of Marijuana. Also, Casey received a traffic citation for FRA Suspension and No Valid OLN.

Officers were dispatched to a possible domestic dispute. Upon arrival officers did not hear noise from the residence. Contact was made and the parties advised they had been asleep for some time.

Officer responded to an open door on a vehicle. Contact was made with the owner, who advised everything was fine and secured the door.

The K9 unit was requested by UCSO to assist in tracking of a subject. Once the officers assistance was no longer needed, they returned to patrol.

Officer took a report on a possible scam, involving multiple people passing bad checks. The investigation is ongoing.

Recovered/Found Property

West Main St.

Officer was dispatched in reference to a found wallet. The officer took possession of the wallet, contact was made with the owner and the wallet was returned to the owner.

Officers responded to a domestic dispute. Upon further investigation, Brandy Rayburn, 37, of Plain City, was arrested and charged with Persistent Disorderly Conduct. Brandy was transported to Tri-County Regional Jail.

Central Ave.

On the stated date and time, I observed the garage door to the listed location standing open. I checked the interior and located nothing out of the ordinary. I secured the door and returned to patrol.
