22-Sep-21 5:48:00 PM Parking Complaint Lantern Ln. Officer observed a black Ford pickup (bearing OH Reg. HYA9102) parked in front of the listed location.  The vehicle was parked on the south side of the street in a posted "No Parking" zone.  I made contact with the homeowner who moved the vehicle.  
22-Sep-21 11:57:00 PM Road Hazard West Main St. Officer observed the traffic light at the intersection of West Main Street and US 42 flashing red. Public Works arrived a short time later to fix the light.  
23-Sep-21 8:30:00 PM Assist Other Unit US Rt. 42 N Officer was dispatched to a driving complaint that was northbound on US RT 42 from Amity Pike.  Dispatch advised that a red car was driving with no lights on. The vehicle was located on US 42 near Industrial Parkway.  The Union County Sheriff's Office requested the vehicle be stopped for the violation.  The officer stopped the vehicle and informed the driver that the vehicle did not have working taillights. The driver was able to get the lights working.  
23-Sep-21 10:30:00 PM Theft - Misdemeanor West Main St. Officer met with a business owner regarding a theft/criminal mischief complaint. Officer investigating damage to one of the gas pumps. Mike's Pit Stop
23-Sep-21 10:09:00 PM Animal Complaint - Other Village Blvd. Officer took possession of a loose dog found by a resident walking in the area. The owner was located and came a short while later to claim the dog. Plain City Municipal Building
24-Sep-21 1:24:00 AM Barking Dog Park St. Officer was dispatched to the listed location in reference to a barking dog. The owner was notified and provided suggestions to help keep the dog from barking.  
24-Sep-21 11:09:00 AM Miscellaneous - Unclassified West First Ave. Officer was dispatched to the listed location in reference to downed lines. It was determined the lines were telephone and cable lines. Utility company was  contacted.  
24-Sep-21 8:35:00 PM Loud Noise/Disturbance West Main St. Officer was dispatched to the listed location in reference to a noise complaint. The business was contacted and the volume of the music was turned down. The Grainery

24-Sep-21 9:31:00 PM Threatened Suicide Maple Ct. Officers were dispatched to the listed location in reference to threats of self-harm. The resident initially denied making any threats, but then did admit to it. The resident was transported to a medical facility for evaluation.

24-Sep-21 10:07:00 PM Lost Property/Not Stolen Village Blvd. Officer was met at the listed location by a subject advising he lost his cellphone somewhere between Interstate 70 and US 42. Officer advised him that no one has turned in a phone, but we would notify him if anyone does. Plain City Municipal Building
24-Sep-21 10:33:00 PM Domestic Dispute West Main St. Officers were dispatched to the listed location in reference to a possible trespassing complaint. Officers determined there was domestic dispute as a result of one party locking the other out of the residence. One party agreed to leave for the night to avoid further problems.  
25-Sep-21 8:40:00 PM Parking Complaint North Chillicothe St. Officer responded to the listed location in reference to a parking complaint. A black Mercedes had parked in his driveway and he wanted the vehicle moved. The vehicle was moved shortly thereafter.  
25-Sep-21 8:53:00 PM Suspicious Person/Vehicle US Rt. 42 N Officer observed a black Chevrolet Camaro parked in a pull off with their lights off across from North Chillicothe Street. I made contact with the driver, who parked to use his phone.  
25-Sep-21 2:11:00 PM Domestic Dispute Dogwood Ct. Officers were dispatched to the listed location in reference to a domestic dispute. Two brothers advised there was a verbal dispute. They were advised to remain separated from each other for the rest of the day.  
25-Sep-21 4:51:00 AM Domestic Dispute West Main St. Officers responded to the listed location in reference to a well being check. The residents were having a domestic dispute, but were both fine.  
25-Sep-21 12:13:00 AM Domestic Dispute West Main St. Officers responded to the listed location in reference to a domestic dispute. Officers advised both parties to remain calm and separate for the remainder of the night.   
25-Sep-21 9:59:00 PM 911 Follow-up Willowbend Cir. Officer was dispatched to the listed location in reference to a 911 follow-up. Upon arrival, the advised that everything was fine and it was an accidental call.  
25-Sep-21 2:11:00 PM Neighbor Dispute South Chillicothe St. Officer was dispatched to the listed location in reference to a neighbor dispute regarding a dog defecating on the property and the  neighbor's sexual offender status.  The dog owner was warned for not cleaning up after her dog and she was advised not to have any further contact with her neighbor.  
26-Sep-21 11:33:00 AM Driving Complaint Smith Pl. Officer was dispatched to the listed location to meet with a caller in reference to a white van that drove through the neighbors yard. It was determined that it was the neighbor driving through his own yard.  
26-Sep-21 8:46:00 PM Well-being Check Maple Ct. Officers checked on the resident and confirmed that everything was fine.  
26-Sep-21 5:24:00 PM Non-Injury Crash Shepper Ave. Officer responded to the listed location in reference to a non-injury crash in which a vehicle brushed the left side of the vehicle against the telephone pole on the southeast corner of Shepper Ave and a no-name alley. The pole received minor surface damage. The vehicle had a small dent and a scrape on the left side.   
26-Sep-21 8:45:00 AM 911 Follow-up West Main St. Officer was dispatched to the listed location in reference to a 911 follow-up. Resident advised that he did not call 911 and that the phone number did not belong to anyone in the residence. Dispatch left a voicemail at that number requesting they call back in. Officer checked the area and did not notice anything unusual.  
26-Sep-21 3:15:00 AM Assist Other Agency Village Blvd. Officer was requested by the Highway Patrol to assist with a BAC test at the listed location. Plain City Municipal Building
26-Sep-21 1:18:00 AM Suspicious Circumstances North Ave. Officers responded to the listed location in reference to a suspicious person walking through the backyard. The caller advised when he had taken the dog out and the dog had spotted something in the distance then the complainant heard someone sneeze in the same direction. Officers searched the area, but were unable to locate anyone.   
26-Sep-21 5:52:00 PM Prowler North Ave. Officer was notified that a subject was walking his friend's dog in the listed locations yard when he saw a male wearing a black coat with his hood up and dirty jeans peaking in a window of the listed location. The dog took off towards the unknown man biting him in the leg. Complainant went to grab the dog and the man ran east towards the woods and Darby Creek. Officers searched the wood line and up to the Darby Creek and found no one.  
27-Sep-21 8:08:00 AM 911 Follow-up Fanshell Dr. Officer was dispatched to the listed location for a 911 follow up. The resident advised that his child had gotten a hold of his phone and hit the emergency button, but everything was fine.  
27-Sep-21 4:50:00 PM Road Hazard South Chillicothe St. Officer was on patrol on South Chillicothe Street in front of the Plain City Elementary School when he observed a large bag of trash laying on the roadway. Officer removed the trash from the road and disposed of it in the dumpster.  
27-Sep-21 6:00:00 PM Suspicious Vehicle Maple St. Officer was advised of an abandoned 2006 Ford that had been parked at the listed location for a few years. The vehicle owner was contacted via public service and advised he needed to move his vehicle. Pioneer Roofing
28-Sep-21 8:34:00 PM Warrant - Felony East Main St. Officer conducted a routine registration check on a red Chevrolet Equinox on East Main Street near Shepper Avenue. The registered owner's license expired on 09/18/2021.  Officer initiated a traffic stop with the vehicle on West Main Street at Converse Drive and made contact with the driver, who became known to me as Shawn Blackburn. He was advised why he was stopped and while speaking with him, he advised that he had a warrant out of the Union County Common Pleas Court.  Upon checking his information, it was confirmed that he had an entered warrant out of the Union County Common Pleas Court for Absconding.  Mr. Blackburn was placed into custody without incident and was transported to the Tri-County Regional Jail by the Union County Sheriff's Office.  
28-Sep-21 5:26:00 PM Miscellaneous - Unclassified North Ave. Complainant called the police department because FedEx delivered a package to his address, but it was supposed to go to a neighbor. Officer arrived and took the package to the neighbor's house.  
28-Sep-21 6:06:00 PM Parking Complaint Dickens Ln. Officer observed a 2018 Toyota Tundra parked on Dickens Lane where it was posted no parking. Officer later made contact with the owner who moved the vehicle.
