12/30/2019 9:46 AM Non-Injury Crash West Main St. On this date and time, Officer responded to West Main Street and Smith Place on the report of a non-injury crash. Upon arrival, Officer found a gold Chevy Malibu with front end damage and a green Honda Accord with left front damage. Driver of the Malibu advised that she was eastbound on West Main Street when the Accord, driven by Angela Brandel, pulled out in front of her from the alley next to Mike's Stop.  Malibu driver was unable to stop or avoid the crash and struck the left front corner of Angela's vehicle. This caused disabling damage to both vehicles.  Neither driver was injured. Angela confirmed all of this and said she couldn't see past some vehicles that were parked along West Main Street. Angela was issued a citation for Failure to Yield. See corresponding numbers for further information.   Approved
12/30/2019 3:21 PM Miscellaneous - Unclassified North Chillicothe St. On the listed date and time, Officer was on station when Officer received a complaint in reference to a male taking his dog for a walk and not cleaning up after his dog. Upon arrival, Officer met with the dog walker. Officer advised subject of the complaint. Subject advised Officer that he had walked the dog in his own yard close to the neighbors. Subject then advised that after getting the dog back inside subject went back outside to clean up after his dog. Officer advised subject that due to having a call, Officer still had to make contact with him. Subject advised he understood and thanked Officer for his time. Officer then returned to patrol.   Pending
12/30/2019 4:19 PM 911 Follow-up Central Ave. On the listed date and time, Officers were dispatched to the listed location in reference to a 911-hang up call made by children. Upon arrival, Officer spoke with homeowner who stated that everything was fine and her infant daughter accidentally made the call. After finding everything to be okay, Officer then returned to patrol.   Pending
12/30/2019 5:59 PM Domestic Dispute North Ave. On the listed date and time, Officers were dispatched to the listed location in reference to a domestic dispute. Upon arrival, Officers made contact with both subjects.  Officers informed subjects that Officers received a 911-call about a disturbance coming from their residence. Both subjects stated that they had just got home from dinner and were not aware of any disturbance coming from their residence or the area. Officers found that no domestic dispute had occurred.  Officers then returned to patrol.   Approved
12/30/2019 6:17 PM Recovered/Found Property West Main St. On the listed date and time, Officers responded to the listed location in reference to a lost hunting license. Subject found an expired hunting license on the property of the Marathon gas station.  Officers made an attempt to get into contact with the owner but were unsuccessful. Because the license was invalid, it was destroyed.  Marathon/GB Power LLC Pending
12/30/2019 7:29 PM Recovered/Found Property West Main St. On the listed date and time, Officers responded to the listed location in reference to a found credit card. Officers attempted to make contact with card owner but were unsuccessful. Officer then called credit card company and they advised to destroy the card. Officer then returned to patrol. 12/30/2019 10:54 PM Suspicious Person/Vehicle South Chillicothe St. On the listed date and time, Officers observed a black minivan enter the back parking lot of the Plain City Elementary School. Officers then approached the minivan and made contact with driver who stated he was there because his son's GPS stated he was at that location earlier in the day and driver wanted to make contact with his son. Driver then got into his vehicle and left the school, Officers then returned to patrol. Plain City Elementary School Returned
12/30/2019 2:14 AM Assist Other Agency Estates Pkwy. On the listed date and time, Officers responded to the listed location at the request of the Union County Sheriff's Office in reference to an alarm drop.  Once Officers were no longer needed on scene, Officers then returned to patrol. 12/31/2019 12:12 AM Suspicious Person/Vehicle South Jefferson Ave. On the stated date and time, Officer was dispatched to the listed location in reference to a suspicious person/vehicle. Upon arrival, Officer located a green 2015 Chevrolet parked in the back of the parking lot. Officer then made contact with the owner/driver who stated he was parked at the location to collect his thoughts and read a book. After speaking with subject, he advised he was going home. Officer then returned to patrol. Der Dutchman Approved
12/31/2019 8:59 PM Heroin SR 161 E  On the stated date and time, Officer observed a tan Buick traveling westbound on SR 161 at the east corporation limits. The vehicle's passenger side headlight was inoperable. Officer initiated a traffic stop with the vehicle and made contact with the driver, Kayla Davis-Woods and advised her why Officer stopped her vehicle. Upon further investigation, Kayla was found to have an entered warrant out of the Marysville Police Department. She was placed into custody and admitted to having Heroin on her person.  Officer conducted a probable cause search of the vehicle and nothing else was located. Kayla was transported to the Tri-County Regional Jail.  Kayla was  also issued a citation for One-Headlight-Two Required (PC ORD 337.03A). The vehicle was parked legally and secured on scene.  Charges pending analysis of the substance. See corresponding numbers for further information.   Returned

1/1/2020 11:46 PM Loud Noise/Disturbance Park St. On the listed date and time, Officers responded to the following location in reference to a noise complaint. Upon arrival, Officers made contact with homeowner who was in his driveway unloading firewood. Officers advised homeowner of the call.  After Officers found everything to be okay, Officers then returned to patrol.   Approved
1/1/2020 12:05 AM Parking Complaint Alderwood Cir. On the stated date and time, Officer was on patrol when Officer observed a white U-haul truck illegally parked in front of the listed location. Officer then made contact with subject who advised he just moved in and did not realize he could not park there.  Subject then moved the vehicle.  Officer determined everything to be fine and returned to patrol.   Approved
1/1/2020 12:18 AM Parking Complaint Fanshell Dr. On the stated date and time, Officer was on patrol when Officer observed two vehicles parked illegally in front of the listed location. Officer then made contact with the owner of a 2013 Chevrolet and the owner of a 2017 Kia.  Officer advised them of the violation. Once both cars were moved, Officer determined everything to be fine and returned to patrol.   Approved
1/1/2020 10:47 PM Loud Noise/Disturbance Dogwood Ct. On the listed date and time,  Officers responded to the listed location in reference to a noise complaint. Upon arrival, Officers made contact with subject.  Officers advised subject of the call.  Subject turned his music down. Officers then returned to patrol.   Approved
