12/3/2019	5:41 PM	Failure to Pay	West Main St.	Officer was dispatched to Mike's Pit Stop in reference to a gas drive off. Upon arrival, Officer met with the caller who advised Officer that a vehicle got $45.40 in gas and then left. Caller advised she never saw the vehicle due to being busy with customers inside the store and she just authorized the pump. The customer was driving a white Jeep Wrangler with a blacktop. Officer then reviewed the security video and observed the described vehicle pulled in at 5:20 pm. Officer observed a long blonde haired person appear to use their credit card and attempt to refuel. The driver was too far back and hung the pump up and pulled the vehicle forward. The driver then left slowly from the lot five minutes later. Officer was unable to get a visual on the license plate to read it other than the number 65 as the first two numbers. Officer later returned to patrol.	Mike's Pit Stop	Approved
12/3/2019	4:41 PM	Animal Complaint - Other	Willow Creek Ct.	Officer responded to the listed location in reference to two dogs running loose. Upon arrival, Officer located the dogs near Willow Court. The caller had gotten a hold of a female brindle boxer but the other dog, a black lab, was too far away. A short while later the dog's owner arrived on scene. Canine owner was able to take possession of both dogs. Canine owner was warned against further incidents with the dogs running loose. Officer then returned to patrol.  Note: This report was referred to the Union County Dog Warden since canine owner reside outside of Plain City in Union County.		Approved
12/3/2019	2:37 PM	Vandalism	West Bigelow Ave.	Officer was dispatched to the listed location in reference to a vandalism complaint. Upon arrival, Officer met with complainant who advised Officer that she believes that Saturday morning (11/30/2019) sometime before 3:30 am an unknown person slashed two of her tires.  Complainant advised she did not see them flat when she left work at 3:30 am.  Complainant advised that when she woke up later that morning, around 10:30 am, she discovered they were flat in her driveway.  Complainant advised she cannot guarantee it happened at her work, but she believes that's where it happened. Officer checked the camera system at the complainant's work and it did not show the section complainant parked on the cameras.  Complainant advised her vehicle was at Plain City Service getting the new tires if Officer wanted to go see the old tires. 12/3/2019	4:44 AM	Animal Complaint - Other	Plumwood Ct.	Officers responded to the listed location in reference to two small horses running loose in the front yard of the listed location. Upon arrival, Officers made contact with the caller who stated she looked outside her front window and noticed two small horses running through her front yard. One small horse was located to the west of the original callers address behind the neighboring residence. A section of the fencing that separated the petting zoo from the residential area was broken off. The horse ran back across the fence line through the broken fence into Der Dutchman's petting zoo. Officers secured the fence so the horses could not escape again. Officers checked the area but were unable to locate any additional horses. Dispatch notified a key holder of Der Dutchmen that there was a hole in the fence and several horses escaped. The keyholder stated that they would check the horse pin and confirm all horses were accounted for and the fence was secured. Officer then returned to patrol.

12/2/2019	12:24 PM	Non-Injury Crash	Friend St.	On the listed date and time Officer was flagged down by compla]inant who advised that a tractor trailer had struck an overhead cable line, pulling it down and causing damage to the siding at this residence.  Officer made contact with the driver, Jesus Guardarrama. Jesus confirmed that he had just driven on Friend Street but was not aware that he had pulled the cable down. Jesus was issued a citation for Overweight Use of Local Streets and advised of his court date. For more information see photos and crash report.		Approved

Upon arrival, Officers made contact with subject and his children.  Subject advised his children were outside playing and were unsure how it appeared there was a domestic dispute. After determining everything to be okay, Officers returned to patrol.		Approved
11/29/2019	8:38 PM	Warrant - Felony	North Ave.	On the stated date and time, Officers made contact with Chelsie Still.  Chelsie had a warrant for her arrest, Officers made contact with her at this location. Chelsie was placed into custody without incident. She had three confirmed warrants (Probation Violation x 2 out of the Marysville Municipal Court) and a Non-Support out of the Union County Common Pleas Court/Juvenile Division.  Officer transported her to the Tri-County Regional Jail due to the unavailability of the Union County Sheriff's Office. She was released into the jail's custody and Officer returned to patrol. See attached warrants for further information.		Approved
11/29/2019	5:43 PM	Suspicious Circumstances	Cottonwood Ct.	On the stated date and time, Officer responded to the listed location in reference to suspicious circumstances. The caller advised Officer that someone was shining a laser pointer in his windows.  Caller advised he closed the blinds and it stopped. Officer patrolled the area and did not locate anything or anyone out of the ordinary. Officer then returned to patrol.		Approved

11/30/2019	4:05 PM	Warrant - Misdemeanor	South Chillicothe St.	Officer was conducting stationary patrol in the parking lot of South Chillicothe St.  Officer conducted a routine registration check on the vehicle and found it returned to a suspended driver.  Officer initiated a traffic stop with the vehicle and made contact with the vehicle driver, Marsha Backora. After checking Marsha's information it was found her license had 21 open suspensions. Marsha also had an active warrant out of the Union County Sheriff's Office for Failure to Appear on a Probation Violation. Officer then transported Marsha to the Tri-County Regional Jail where she was booked in on her warrant from UCSO. She was issued a traffic citation for No Valid OL, FRA Suspension, License Forfeiture Suspension, and Failure to Reinstate.		Pending
11/30/2019	2:54 PM	Animal Complaint - Other	Friend St.	On the stated date and time, Officer observed a male black Labrador in the parking lot of the police department. It was very friendly and I was able to locate a phone number for the owner on its collar. I made contact with canine's owner and advised her that Officer had her dog. Officer secured the Labrador in the kennel. A few minutes later, another dog was dropped off at the police department.  Officer learned that the two dogs resided together. They were both secured in the kennel. Canine owner arrived a short time later and retrieved them. Canine owner was advised of the possible consequences if this were to continue. 12/1/2019	7:33 PM	Non-Injury Crash	Perry Pike	On the stated date and time, Officer was dispatched to the area of Perry Pike and Lafayette Plain City Road in reference to a vehicle crash. Upon arrival, Officer met with Breanna Dawson.  Breanna misjudged the distance of the stop sign at Perry Pike, hit her brakes too late and slid into a ditch on the west side of the road on Lafayette Plain City Rd. Breanna was issued a citation for Stop Sign and advised of her court date. Officer then returned to patrol.		Returned
12/1/2019	6:54 PM	Assist Other Agency	SR 161 W	On the stated date and time, Officers were dispatched to the area of SR 161 near the east corporation limits in reference to a disabled vehicle in the roadway. Upon arrival, Officer observed a silver 1993 Ford pickup that was missing its front passenger side tire.  Officer made contact with the driver and vehicle owner. OSP and Madison County Sheriff's Office declined to respond. Officer stood by on scene conducting traffic detail until a AAA tow truck arrived and removed the vehicle from the roadway. Officer then returned to patrol.		Pending
12/1/2019	6:26 PM	911 Follow-up	Grant Ave.	On the stated date and time, Officers were dispatched to the listed location in reference to a 911 followup. Upon arrival, Officer made contact with caller that advised he must have been having phone issues and that there wasn't any type of emergency. Once Officers  determined everything to be okay, Officers returned to patrol.		Approved
12/1/2019	1:18 AM	Domestic Dispute	Converse Ave.	On the stated date and time, Officers responded to the listed location in reference to a possible domestic dispute. The caller stated that she was in a dispute with her boyfriend.   Upon arrival, Officers made contact with female subject who appeared extremely intoxicated and repeatedly fell asleep on the couch while Officer spoke with her. She stated that she was in a verbal dispute with her boyfriend and that she did not need any assistance. Officers then made contact with male subject in the listed location's back yard. Male subject stated that the argument was strictly verbal and that the two were calm now. After determining everything checked okay Officers returned to patrol.		Pending
12/1/2019	12:28 AM	Drug Paraphernalia	Gay St.	On the stated date and time, Officer was on patrol when Officer observed a 2006 silver Volkswagen Jetta which returned as expired since 11-30-2019.  Officer then initiated a traffic stop with the above vehicle and made contact with the vehicle operator.  Officer also made contact with a passenger along with the vehicle owner who was also a  passenger.  Officer advised vehicle operator of the violation who stated he did not know the vehicle registration was expired. The vehicle owner apologized and advised he was going to get new tags this week. When advising them of the warning, Officer detected an odor of raw marijuana emitting from the vehicle, which was confirmed by occupants.  Passenger was given warnings for paraphernalia and marijuana. Vehicle operator was given a warning for the expired registration. Officer then returned to patrol.		Pending
