Officer was on patrol when Officer was dispatched to the listed location reference a suspicious vehicle. Officer made contact with the owner/operator, Gerald Lajti. Gerald was run through FSTs but did not display any signs of impairment. Gerald was issued a summons for Open Container and released on scene. See case for further.

Officers responded to the listed location in an attempt to locate Gregory Ford who had two Felony Warrants for his arrest and was possibly staying at the residence.  Gregory was then transported to the Plain City Police Department where he was charged for Obstruction Official Business. He was then transported to Tri County Regional Jail.

Officer conducted a routine registration check on a red Jeep that was parked at the listed location.  Officer learned that the registration returned to a 2001 silver Chevrolet pickup and that that another PCPD Officer stopped the driver/vehicle on 06/22/2018 and gave a warning for the same offense.  Robert Ossing was subsequently issued a citation for Failure to Transfer Registration (ORC 4549.08A3) and released.  His vehicle was towed to the Plain City Impound Lot.

Officer observed a blue Dodge pickup that was partially blocking the roadway.  The truck was attached to a trailer and backed into the driveway; however half of the truck was blocking Converse Avenue.  Officer made contact with subject who apologized and moved his vehicle without incident.  Officer then returned to patrol.

Officer was dispatched to the area of US 42 near Alcott Drive in reference to an elderly man walking along the road using a walker.  Officer made contact with subject who advised that he was walking from his residence to the Country Closet and then the Cheese House.  Officer transported subject and his walker to the Country Closet.  He advised that he would stay off of the road when he walked to the Cheese House and that he would call a friend for a ride back home.  Officer then returned to patrol.

Officer was dispatched to the area of Perry Pike and US42 in reference to a suspicious person.  Upon arrival with UCSO Deputy (back up) we located the female inside the Shell Station.  After checking subject NCIC I learned that she had an entered warrant from Champaign County for Contempt of Court- Failure to Appear.  Subject was placed into custody and transported to Tri-County Jail.  For more information see attached warrant.
