Officer observed a 2002 red Hyundai illegally parked in front of the listed location due to the snow. Soon after speaking with subject the vehicle was moved.

East Main St.

Officer was on patrol when Officer observed a parking violation at the listed location. Officer observed a black minivan parked along the roadside during a snow emergency. Officer made contact with the registered owner who complied with moving her vehicle.  Officer then returned to patrol.

Disabled Vehicle

SR 161 E

Officer responded to the area of SR161 near the east corporation limits at the request of ODOT, in reference to two vehicles that had driven off the roadway. Upon arrival, Officer observed a white Chevy Truck stuck just outside the roadway. Officer made contact with the vehicles owner who stated that he was on his way back to the vehicle with a tow truck to help get the vehicle unstuck. No damage was caused to the vehicle or any property. East of this location, Officer located the red Honda Pilot.  Officer checked the vehicle and found it to be abandoned. There appeared to be damage to the left rear wheel well. Officer advised the Madison County Sheriff's Office that the vehicle went outside the roadway past the corporation limits and that it was not a hazard. A MCSO deputy arrived a short time later to have the vehicle removed.

Officer responded to the listed location in reference to a plow that had pushed snow into the caller's yard. Upon arrival, Officer observed a large pile of snow that was pushed onto complainant's property. The vehicle that had pushed the snow into the yard also left several tire ruts on the property. Officer made contact with the apartment's owner to advise him of the complaint.  On 01-28-2019 complainant stated that the plow company had contacted him directly and agreed to resolve the issue.

Officer was dispatched to the area of SR 161 near Bulter Avenue in reference to several disabled vehicles stuck in the snow. With the street department's assistance, all vehicles were cleared from the snow. After assistance was no longer needed, Officer then returned to patrol.

Officer was dispatched to North Chillicothe Street, near Pastime Park, for a report of high water. Officer located the water that was several inches deep and covering both lanes of travel. The Street Department was notified and Officer returned to patrol.  The Street Department put up some "High Water" signs a short time later.

Officer was dispatched to the listed location in reference to a criminal mischief complaint. Upon my arrival, Officer met with complainant who received word from his parents on Saturday morning that he had a flat tire. It appears that someone stuck a sharp object into the tire on purpose. Officer advised complainant to contact the police department if he heard anything. See attached photos for additional information.

After further investigation it was found complainant has a no contact order for subject out of Marysville Municipal Court however the kids aren't listed on the order. Officer observed the rear hatch open on a brown Nissan Murano that was in the driveway. Officer made contact with the vehicle owner and advised him of the situation. Vehicle owner declined to check the vehicle and just requested that Officer close it. Officer did so and returned to patrol.

Officer conducted a routine registration check on a silver Mercury Sedan traveling southbound on Plain City-Georgesville Rd near Darby Fields Blvd. The registration returned to Isaac Miller a non valid driver. Isaac was issued a summons for Marijuana Drug Paraphernalia and a traffic citation for No Valid OL and Failure to Reinstate. Isaac and his vehicle were then picked up by a valid driver.

South Chillicothe St.

Officer conducted a routine registration check on a red GMC Sierra that was northbound on South Chillicothe Street at East Main Street. Officer learned that the registered owner, Cathy Poppell, had an entered warrant for her arrest out of the Morrow County Sheriff's Office. Officers placed Cathy into custody without incident.  Officer transported Cathy to the Tri-County Regional Jail and released her into their custody. See attached warrant for further information.
