Officer initiated a traffic stop with the vehicle and made contact with the vehicle driver/owner. K9 Andor completed an open-air narcotics sniff of the vehicle. Andor gave positive alert to the driver's side door. Officer completed a probable cause search but did not locate any illegal narcotics. Officer spoke further with driver who advised that he recently used methamphetamine and marijuana. Driver was later given a verbal warning for no turn signal and no front plate.
