Having prior knowledge that Zachary did not have a valid driver's license, Officer initiated a traffic stop with the vehicle. Officer made contact with Zachary and his passenger. Officer requested the passenger's information and learned that the passenger did not have a valid driver's license. Zachary was subsequently issued a citation for No OL (ORC 4510.12) and released. He and his passenger were picked up by a friend. Zachary's vehicle was parked on the lot of Lil E's Ice Cream, until they could get a valid driver to pick it up. 3/25/2020 | 7:18 PM | Message Delivery | West Main St. | On the stated date and time, Officer was dispatched to the listed location in reference to a message delivery. Urbana Police Department had received information that a subject was upset at Domino's employees. Suspect sent a message that he was upset they were not wearing gloves and masks. Suspect threatened to spray the employees with chemicals as revenge for their lack of safety practices. Officer made contact with the manager of Dominos who advised that she was already aware of the incident because her district manager told her. Upon arrival, Officer spoke with caller who stated that he accidentally hit the emergency button on his phone while attempting to silence an alarm on his phone. An anonymous caller advised a female subject and her boyfriend were in a verbal argument earlier in the night. The caller was concerned for the safety of female and advised she does not have a working cell phone. Upon arrival, Officer made contact with both parties who were calm. After speaking with both parties and not observing anything out of the ordinary, Officer then returned to patrol. | Pending |
