3/18/2020 | 5:22 PM | Drug Paraphernalia | Fairfield Dr. | On the stated date and time, Officers went to the listed location to serve an active warrant on Dana Pollard for Domestic Violence (Felony) out of the Madison County Common Pleas Court. Upon arrival, Officers located Dana standing outside of the apartment. He was placed into custody without incident. As Officers were escorting Dana to their vehicles, Deputy from MCSO arrived on the scene. MCSO Deputy advised that he was there to serve Dana a Summons on Indictment in lieu of arrest. As Officers were talking to Dana, he said that he had a glass pipe on him and admitted that it was used for crack. Dana was given a summons for Drug Paraphernalia (ORC 2925.14C1). They advised that they had found a cell phone lying in the middle of the road on SR 161 near the west corporation limit. Upon arrival, Officer spoke with an employee at the gas station who stated that a 13 year old juvenile came into the service station and stated that he wanted his dad to stop hitting him. After speaking with employee, Officer then spoke with juvenile. After examining juvenile's face and head there were no visible marks or signs of abuse. Officer then transported juvenile to his residence. Officer made contact with juvenile's father in reference to the accusations made by his son. There was no forced entry and the doors were locked and secured upon their arrival this morning. Complainant advised that lots of people had keys and he could not provide a full list of everyone that had keys nor did he have anyone that he suspected of doing it. Complainant said he did not need PCPD to investigate. Complainant said that they were changing the locks and that he just wanted PCPD to provide extra patrol.
